I saw them go through Cincinnati last night. Trying to get the story on what they are being used for. I did not see any passangers yet everything was lit up inside. Beautiful. This was at 12:45 at night.
wait, i remember there like 42 passenger cars. 2 were lettered SOUTHEASTERN RAILWAY MUSEUM, KATCHI GAMMI CLUB PULLMAN, a ppcx office car, N&W tool car, and 15 NRHS and Ns passenger coaches.
the box car is whats known as a battery car or radio car this unit is what kept the rear engines synced with the front ones in terms of throttle and brakes now its run thru the connect cables btwn the cars but b4 that this is what was used
20: Ohio (office), 21: West Virginia (office), 5: Maryland (office), 7: Pennsylvania (office), 40: Power Generating Car There are a few other cars that are missing: the New York, Michigan, 2 Powhatan Arrow Cars and some others.
Since you seem to know ns business cars #13 Crossville,#1 Pentrex Capital, #33 Martinsburg and #725 the man of war do you have pictures of these cars, and one more thing how many business cars does Norfolk Southern own?
no this is the ns office train they use it for when the executives and customers want to go somewhere like the kentucky derby or the masters golf tournament
sorry there were 30 cars on my train. there were 5 on the other train. the 30 car train was called the Jamestown Settler and the other one was called the Dreams of Oakland.
actually if you didn't notice i made an accidental mistake on one of the cars. Pentrex Capital is # 11. and i might have pictures of these cars but i dont know where.
This reminds me of that movie "Under Seige 2, Dark Territory." Basically the two leading units make me remember that. A real cool video dude.
Now WHY can't something like that ever go by my house? :) Cool stuff, and a great shot of it!
Awesome catch
