What an awesome place! My din took me to Vonnorsville, IN for my birthday one time to ride the old Whitwater rails to Metamora. I will tell him about this!!! I moved to the Cincinnati area over 20 years ago, and had never heard of this place. Thanks JT!!! I have scheduled a trip of our church group to Entertrainment Junction this month!
Great video. Looks you had a great time to. Thanks for the video. I have one of those trains and have been riding people for free since 1990 at Midsouth Live Steamers club track at Columbia Tennessee. It's great fun.
@@JawTooth If you are ever in the Columbia Tennessee area when we have one of our meets in may or september i will let you drive my train. I know its small but it just like running a real train.
Looks like a ton of fun. Brings out the kid in oneself and it's easy to spend a day there. Quite the collection on a nice spacious property. Thanks for sharing!
How awesome is that place! That model train set up had an amazing amount of things going on! WOW!! And my jaw dropped seeing Shoestring!..that was cool of you adding him!
That was a sweet video. Have to go this year. Never knew it was there. Been to other in Cincinnati area. Loved the different scale model train demo. Can tell the engineers loved it along with everyone else. Great time had by all.
This is truly a rail fans paradise. Miniature train rides, indoor train sets.Steam trains. A little piece of heaven dude, just awesome. Best video ever.thanks Jaw. Really brings back childhood memories.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🚂🚂 truly live action man.
Some of those guy's bellies are bigger then the damn engine! Laughs! Sorry, I have never been one to mince words! However the train set-ups are totally cool! Thanks!
Some of those engines and carriages are truly having their limits tested. Thanks for the video! It's a shame Chessie couldn't come. Im sure they would have loved to ride the train with you
Wow, what a collection of trains, large and small! I never knew anything like this place existed, except in a railfan's dreams. Chessie would have loved that, I'm sure! I still wonder how Norfie would do on a short, local run. Just to see her reactions to it.
@@JawTooth GREAT point!! But I also think the same thing with REAL trains!! It boggles the mind that those engines can pull all those full and empty cars, especially up grades like in my home state of CA. and where I live now in New Mexico. (Hey JT, have you ever been to North Platte, NE. at the World's Largest Freight Train Yard? I was last there in 2008 and it was AMAZING to view it high from the top of the Golden Spike Tower that had just opened. Docents who worked at that yard are there to answer any questions which greatly adds to the enjoyment. Worth a visit someday if you have never been there.)
@@dannyjohnson3335 Dayton's Carillon Historic Park. It's been here a long time. I am 60 plus years old and when I was in kindergarten and the early grades, we often came here on school field trips. They have preserved many aspects of Dayton's history including things from the Wright Brothers that did not wind up at the Henry Ford Museum Park in Detroit. There is a carillon bell tower on the be grounds that periodically plays on special occasion days. The park was created by the Patterson family who founded the old National Cash Register Company that was once located here in Dayton, Ohio.
@@michaelgarrity6090 Thanks for sharing all this interesting information about this historic park that I never knew existed. I am almost 69 now and if I ever get back to Ohio, then this is a place I need to visit. I also remember that cash register company.
Great video. Looks like a lot of fun. Looks like there is an old roundhouse and turntable there too. Awesome model railroad too. Never in my life have I seen a scale model building on fire. That shot will give a lot of folks some ideas. Thanks.
Wow Jawtooth this was amazing again love real and model trains as well. I wish I had something like this, is amazing!!!. thanks again for the visoe's :-)
Trains are a wonderful means of transportation aren't they? And regardless of the size it's just soooooo awesome. In May of 2000. I went on a Cross Canada trip all on our Via Rail Canada. And that was great.
Wow, looks like you had way too much fun!! LOL... My last ride on that type of train ride was down in Florida but I don't remember where exactly it was... Glad you had a great day for train rides...
That was a great day-out! What a place! That's the first live steam Thomas model I've seen. So much to see and a lot of the ride-on trains being hand-built and all. Thanks for having us along with you. Like every big railway exhibition, there's always more! Nice one Jaw Tooth. Keep Safe and Keep Well. Cheers!
Such a cool park! I had never heard of this park and it's not too awfully far away from me! Thanks for sharing Jawtooth! I'm definitely going to have to go up that way to see it sometimes in the future! Awesome video! Awesome place!
I am in Dayton right now but I am heading back down to Florida in a few days. Bummer I won't be here for the event in a few weeks! The Carillon Park is such a great place to visit. So glad you shared this video from the pre-covid days.
That was one of the most fantasticly awesome videos you have ever done. No wonder I watch you daily. Don't worry... that over and under will truly happen.
