      We aren't quite sure. Some people said they watched it just to watch it, and some people said they watched it to see how to install a tank...😕🤔maybe it's objective?😂

    Was anyone else waiting for that battery to spark while he pumped the gas out? Somewhere out there because of this video there is an OSHA Safety Briefing in the making.

      A lot of people pointed that out. I made the mistake of not taking into account gas "fumes." Definitely did some learning with this one. Thanks for pointing it out.

    What i learned.:
    Time for a new tank! Make sure to have the hammer! Every guy loves three holes! Make sure it’s tight! Put module in! Put pump in through slit! Make sure you have the nuts to get through the holes... might be sensitive fit. Make sure it’s all sucked out. Make sure it is extremely tight! Make sure unit fits right! Make sure 12 inches! Test to make sure all good and afterward make sure there isn’t a leak situation, right?! Now get rid of old tank, which is never fun, but just have to get it out of your way! Then you can mount that new tank! Be happy with your new tank and get those new holes utilized! Get that barb fitting in there guys! Once done don’t f’up with mechanical difficulties!
    I’m sold!

      The things you must do in your spare time😂😂 don't forget you can use big thighs, hydraulic jacks, and/or brute strength with your new tank.

    Does the tank contact the undersides of the body? If so, do you add some sort of padding?

    • @wildhorses4x4
      @wildhorses4x4  2 роки тому

      Yes, it does contact the body. There is no padding as the skid plate or strap keeps it tight against the body so there is no noise.

    You should use air pressure and tank submerged in water as air will show a leak before liquid... And also you did something very dangerous... Battery spark near fuel vapors.

    • @wildhorses4x4
      @wildhorses4x4  4 роки тому +1

      To be honest, I didn't even think about vapors...I only thought about the actual fuel. Definitely need to be a little more careful next time. Thanks for pointing that out.

    I did this but the back stock bumper shows the tank....not a good look. Anyone know of a cover?

    • @wildhorses4x4
      @wildhorses4x4  2 роки тому

      For the rear stock bumper, we usually do some fabricating to get the bumper raised a little higher. It's custom work but that tends to be the route we go.

    So your not running a vent hose? How does the tank vent then? I just ordered this tank today, thanks!

    • @wildhorses4x4
      @wildhorses4x4  3 роки тому

      This Bronco doesn't get driven much so we do it the "old-fashioned" way. We open the gas cap and "burp" the system. It's definitely a good idea to run the vent line, just make sure you run it to a point higher than anywhere on the gas tank. Some articles even suggest running it higher than the fuel filler neck. It's your call. Hope you enjoy the tank and get your Bronco on the road soon!

    Was wondering if the M1A1 will fit the 2021 Bronco if the muffler is removed? My Bronco is almost here and I want to put a secondary tank in the space that will be freed up when I install the Apollo GT exhaust system. Looks like the M1A1 might be able to fit there with minimal modifications.

    • @wildhorses4x4
      @wildhorses4x4  2 роки тому

      ooh we have no idea to be completely honest.

  • @dmd8042

    You needed a bigger tank to accommodate the bigger engine? Or you needed more run time to keep up with the 2021 your going to go trail riden’ with?

      This tank was actually installed in my brother's Bronco. I already have it in mine haha but that 2.7 Eco will definitely be getting more miles per gallon than the Pitbull lol
