something does not make sense to me. these homes cost $350,000 USD for 51 square meters. thats approching $7,000 per square meter. A couple of my friends built single family homes the old school way of building with much more complicated layouts and nicer architecture cost them less then 1/4 of what Samara is asking. Where have the economies of scale gone, i dont get it?
I liked the comment about real world tech businesses being rare. But in a YC episode they told that everyone in uni tries to build a better tool to meetup with friends. Anyone seen that too and can weigh in on two povs?
The real point taken from this is keep riding the coat tails of community issues where your product or service can help instead of trying to market. And really trying to help.
It's word by word the same old PR canned stuff that they've been told to sing at every single interview for the last decade. The lack of spontaneity is why this doesn't have more views. I'd like to hear Joe Gebbia, not Airbnb's Public Relations staff. It's pretty shocking in the case of Brian Chesky. He literally has 30 minutes text with jokes that he recites every time he's invited somewhere. Lame and Boring, but I guess that's to be expected when you reach that Huge corporate/Public company level of success.
21:49 that paul graham voice impression was spot on 😂
TOTALLY!
So glad you don't do ads on All In Pod
wow... the advice for early founders in this pod is invaluable!
This is an awesome episode! 41:31 Loved Jason’s question about keeping focus.
Thanks Jason and Joe. I really enjoyed the interview!
JCal with the Samara recruiting question at the end, love it.

Really enjoyed this episode. Joe is such an amazing storyteller. If you enjoyed this episode check out his interview with Tim Ferriss.
That Paul Graham impression at 21:26 hahaha!!
Easily top 3 TWiST interviews. On repeat.
Omg! Thank you TWiST, this was a really great episode! Great insightful stuff.
Great episode Jason! Joe was great!
Incredible
Joe is a great storyteller
Awesome, great video
Jason honest question. Does most of your wealth come from your investments or from your UA-cam ads?
LMAO - the Midwest of analytics 😂
A tad disappointed that JCal didn’t ask any Tesla question. Joe is one of Board of Directors at Tesla.
irrelevant
Interesting nonetheless. I wanted to hear a question or two regarding Tesla. You know its one of the largest companies in the world right?
It would have been more relevant if JCal asked him about his Critbuns. Where are they now!
@@r-mull 🤣
