I never thought that we would be watching 30 year old games on handheld computers in the future...... But here we are. And loving it! If you see this I’d love to see some games from the 1991 regular season or playoffs. That’s when I started watching the NFL a lot. I was ten.
I was born in 96 so I missed all these amazing games and honestly being to go back watch games from the 80s and 70s is not only great but really makes todays football look like trash
We took a chartered bus from the Dutch Bar in Jackson, MS to see this game. We had a few kegs on the bus for the ride down. Needless to say, we were all drunk as a skunk by the time we hit the Big Easy. I do remember hitting Pat O'Brien's and watching one of our drunksters lead the Whodat cheer, standing on a table. My buddy said I passed out for a while in one of the bars, but he kept me going. When we got to the stadium, everyone was drunk and could hardly find our seats....my buddy said I made a bee-line up the stairs and into the nosebleeds.....he kept yelling, "Where the Hell are you going?" But even in my drunken state, I went right to where our seats were. I sobered up as the game went along. I remember we were sitting next to the top seats, so we started banging on the walls every time something good would happen.. Those of us who were laughing and singing on the way down on the bus....well more than a few of us started fighting on the way back to Jackson that night. I had crawled inot to back of the bus to sleep off my hangover. Only to have some guy land on top of me, and another guy start pounding his face with his fists. Finally, the bus driver pulled over and threatened to call the Highway Patrol. Next time I was in the Dutch Bar(following Monday), all was good. Several busted lips and black eyes. But they were all friends again. Damn, I miss the Dutch Bar.
I enjoyed Brent & the nfl today back then more than any other pregame but too much non-nfl stuff like coll highlights at the beginning here, excluding that is what I like most about today’s pregames
Some Saints quarterbacks was very good 🤣. But it was the greatest quarterback ever had to Drew " Cool 🆒" Brees . He won at least a Super Bowl 🥣 with The Saints.
Excuse me? Their defense gave up 34 points in this game, offense scored 44. I think the offense would take offense to your less than saintly statement.
Joshzepnick if you watched the game you’d see that the saints had were up 38-10 towards the end of the 3rd quarter and the saints started pulling their starters on defense that’s when the bucs started scoring plus scoring 44 point’s against the bucs during this period was easy for any team
Every Sainte linebacker in the Dome Patrol should be in the NFL Hall of Fame.
Rest well Coach Perkins. 😔 May the Lord welcome you Home.
Also Jimmy " The Greek" Snyder.

I was at this game!
@@jtdavis62 I don’t see you in the video
@@JoshZepnick We had nose bleed seats, which in the Superdome back then meant we could duck into the ramps behind our seats and smoke weed.
I know that this year & last year those two teams Saints & Bucs had wild games but even in the 80s they had good 👍 games too.

1988 Heisman favorites: Barry Sanders didn't cross anyone's mind.
Best New 🆕 Orleans channel 😄 to find Saints games. Channel Four .

Mike Ditka: "Football games shouldn't be played indoors."
1997, Mike Ditka is named head coach of the New Orleans Saints.

Never saw Mcpherson play but I'm guessing he was way ahead of his time.

The Saints defense was otherworldly that year. The offense? Meh.
Excuse me? Their defense gave up 34 points in this game, offense scored 44. I think the offense would take offense to your less than saintly statement.
Saints scored over 420 points, wasn't that bad
Dome Patrol at its best
