I could sit and listen to Alan for hours. He has such great stories. Such a sweet man, too. Glad to call Alan an friend...Chris too. Thanks, Tim for all you do bringing out Southern Rock history from the people who were actually there during that time.

IF YOU REALLY WANNA KNOW WHAT RONNIE VAN ZANT THOUGHT ABOUT CAPRICORN JUST LISTEN TO "CRY FOR THE BAD MAN" BY SKYNYRD.....ONE MORE FACT IS AL COOPER PUT SKYNYRD ON THE MAP IN ATLANTA GA WITH MCA...CHRIS HICKS IS THE MOST SOULFUL PLAYER AND SINGER EVER LIVE....TRULY AMAZING
Somehow the master tape got flipped over and the 9 record labels that turned down the band heard this muffled terrible sounding tape! No wonder the label didn't want to hear anything else from Walden.
I could sit all day and listen to Mr Walden tell stories, especially about RVZ and the Skynyrd boys. What a treasure he is. Thanks for upload!

Hey buddy, you're top notch, Rock on!
Really enjoying these!!!
Hey Chris...I just listened to you singing "Leave Your Blues Alone' with the Adam and the Skydog "house band" on YT.....brother, you nailed that one.
I’ll have to agree with a few of the posts here. I always though HP left to go solo.
H PB is one of the best in the history of Southern music a d he composed many fine tunes. HP got it in the end with his country band Blackhawk!

What's the story with the blue thumbnail?
Nice interview but HP is not all that. Bet Chris was having to bite his tongue.

Poor Alan, he thinks he knows HP.
