I was at this show back in '83. We had a table, front of stage, stage left. The Roxy was full of energy that night. HP Band was awesome! Met Ackroyd immediately after the concert. A night I'll always remember.
Cannot begin to give Wally enough credit for this beauty! - He is one of the best musicians I have ever known. So tastefully done in all aspects! - And this is after Jim Fish left! Wally Dentz is an incredible musician!
Simply awesome. Saw them front row dead center in 1980 at the University of Oklahoma warming up for the Charlie Daniels Band. Me and my friend who was also from Long Island were the only ones out of our seats. The fans there were sitting on their hands waiting for Charlie to sing a nice slow ballad for them. One of the best concerts ever. Billy Crain and Dave Feister were constantly looking at us since everyone else didn't know what they were seeing. It was like the HPB was giving me and my friend a personal concert. Never forget it.

Your right, I do tell my kid about it, the older she gets the more blown away by what I did, she becomes ! She's known who Henry Paul is because when she was small I went back to school& interned at KZLA, I also think I took her to a show in Colorado Springs in 99! She, falls upon a wild story, & stands there mouth agape!!! Did I ever tell you about the time..... ! AahHaHaHa!!!! Thank you for recommending this for me! You made my day! I've been smiling the whole time !

saw them open for the rossington Collins band in the early 80s they were great.

I saw The Henry Paul Band twice in 1979 and 1980 (got there late when they opened for The Rolling Stones, in '81). They were pure fire both times!
Saw them several times in the early 80s including one show where they opened for the Rolling Stones on the Tattoo You tour.
An excellent Band with some great guitarists. Thanks for posting this. All of my LP 'S have been packed away for over 12 years, HPB being one of them.
