      I haven't, but these are two very popular ones: amzn.to/3eEBVtX (which has the National Curriculum in too) and amzn.to/2BxxkLc xx

    Great tips, thank's for sharing! I have a question. How is it that you chose primary teaching rather than secondary? XX

    • @PetitePrimary
      @PetitePrimary  4 роки тому +2

      That's a good question! I find children are more excited about learning and so I feel like my skillset suits younger children better xx

      Beautifully answered. I'm struggling to decide whether to go into Primary or Secondary teaching. Primary kids are well behaved but more in need of being nutured. Secondary pupils are more independent but difficult to manage behaviour wise. Do you know if one can change later down the line?

      @@marypoppins6973 I'm not sure, however, if finances are something that can influence your decision, you can get bursaries at secondary but not primary. Don't be fooled into thinking primary are all well behaved though! Xx

      @@PetitePrimary I've worked in primary schools. No doubt they are challenging too. But not as much as teenagers and their hormonal changes. Lol!

    Hi there

      That's completely up to you, or you could have a notebook and split off each section using dividers or post it's so you can flick to the red section and you know it's maths? Or maybe have a notebook for core subjects and one for wider curriculum/pedagogy? One per subject might be a bit much, I did school direct but for some subjects we only had two days of training. Can't vouch for uni route tho xx

    Having been a youth worker with teenagers I'm not so much worried about behaviour.
    With my ADHD mire concerned about organisation or planning and not reverse engineering lesson outcomes. What can help with this?

    • @PetitePrimary
      @PetitePrimary  3 роки тому +1

      Starting things early and breaking up tasks into several steps so they seem less daunting and you can split them up across different time scales if needed.
      For lesson outcomes, be clear on what you want the purpose to be, check that your lessons match that and use types of formative assessments to check they have met that. You can find lots of examples online x
