I’ve had one since 2017 and it’s costly to maintain but a wonderful car, having covered over 85,000 miles across Europe.

Love it! Best looking E-Class wagon of all time, and still ultra practical. Kinda disappointed they didn’t have somebody test fit the rear seats for comfort

I'd disagree with you there. While this wasn't bad, the S212 pre-facelift looked much better than the S211. I haven't seen the facelift S212 at all, so I can't say anything about those. The model code for Mercedes wagons in the 2000's started with S while the sedans and SUVs started with W.

@@RetroCarReviews I have the AMG sedan already, I like the extra space and practicality of the wagon. The only thing you loose in the wagon is outright top end speed. I think the E500 estate and saloons are limited in the US to 130 mph. My sedan pulls 185+ with the Weistec control unit i have. Have only seen 170 and change on the way to Vegas..

I wish they made a Motorweek review for the W211 E55 & E63 Estates 😭 My favorite channel when I want QUICK thorough rundowns on any car & Smoking Tire is my favorite channel for longer thorough reviews

2:46 Same 0-60 as the sedan while weighing 400lbs more...and with the exact same engine as the sedan. Wizardry, IMO.

W210 or S210 wagons had the 4.3 V8 available. S211 is not the first V8 power Merc wagon.
