You are the reason I bought a B8.5 S4 and your S4 content was my favourite. I’d LOVE to see another “b8.5 s4” on the channel in the form of an Allroad specifically!

Eli, been watching you since the S4 days. Your one of the reasons I wanted my next car to be an Audi. Was looking at the S4 but needed something a little bigger. Started looking at the S6 but wasn’t to sure about the reliability on the engine. So I pulled the trigger on a 2018 A6 3.0t with the competition package. I love it. It needs a detail on the interior let me know when I can bring it by. Gonna do motor mounts then stage 1 IE E85 tune. Can’t wait.

I'd def say getting an allroad is the best. You get the wagon practicality, the B8.5 allroad has the wheel offset of an A5/S5/RS5 so you can push the wheels out farther, and you have the fender flares for even more room for aftermarket wheels/spacers. 3.0T swap that thing and you're golden. If you want you could even do an S/RS bumper swap with some custom fabrication for the fender flares (people have done it before) but that could get expensive.

I have been following you since i got into Audis i had a b8.5 s5 loved it!! sold it and got into a 14 rs7 and absolutely love it!! not as nimble but the refinement and luxury and speed is amazing!!
A few months back I purchased a '17 A8L 4.0t for my wife to daily. It's a boat but it's so enjoyable to ride around in... I also installed rs7 turbos, HPFP, DS1 E55 tune and the car does consistent sub 3 second 0-60's and high 10 second 1/4's. ... she never breaks the speed limit and has no idea about the mods. There's nothing quite like an Audi flagship (heavily depreciated of course)
The 8’s are just a bit too big for me!
There’s always that tipping point of mods where yes maybe increase fun/power… but detract from usability and really enjoying. Good choice though on keeping the SQ5. Only do overland if it’s something you’re really interested in, otherwise it’s just kind of a trend imo rn. I think wagon with swap would be most appealing
100% on the 3.0T allroad with an overland setup. That would be so dope especially with these wonderful New England roads. #urbanassaultvehicle
What about an SQ7 build? The facelifts look so good, and there's not much content on them in terms of interesting builds... not sure how you could make it interesting though. Otherwise my vote is for the Allroad manual swap.

Just take a bit of vacation and do a 5 day weekend and put in the clutch and parts. When you add a third car the insurance gets much higher for all of them.
Yes but the problem with a “weekend” working on a B5 is it never ends up being a weekend LOL
I just picked up a b9 SQ5. I was inspired by your b8 and this B9 to buy one. Im planning on buying IE intake, Intercooler, IE inlet pipe and the IE stage one engine and trans tune. Is there anything else you would recommend. It’s my daily so I want power but reliability. Also if you ever decide to sell that MTM bumper I’ll buy it. Love that bumper.
I’d go with the all road swap, but the s7 prices are great right now so that would be a good option. I daily an A4 wagon 1.8t 5MT and it’s great. Nothing beats the versatility of a wagon as a daily.

If you’re going to pull the motor soon anyways why not just go single turbo or throw on some rs6 turbos and make 500hp. That’s plenty enough in a b5 to be honest. I mean I guess I got bored of mine quick but unless you’re building a motor that’s really what you’re limited to. I plan to go top mount twin g25s when I build a motor this winter but I’m not opposed to a big single. Just can’t keep the turbos in stock location. I’m trying to make my nogaro as easy to work on as possible. Also if I were you, you’re going to want to at the very least put rods in the car and build the heads to rev out higher if you go big single because you’re going to need the rpm and it would be pointless if you can’t make more than 500hp. You would be sacrificing spool time and be really limited. Or you could do some TTE turbos and make big power as well but have quicker spool than a single. TTE makes some great turbos for our cars.
Maybe go back to VW and got a MK8 Golf R or even a MK7. Those cars are rockets when tuned and a lot of fun to drive.

AFAIC you should do an extensive engine build on your B5. My Noggy S4 with Tial 770r Turbo’s, built motor is the funnest thing I’ve ever driven. Its simple, less techy and you can feel the road.

I enjoy this content. BUT. Can someone explain this to me. Why would you do Twin turbo mods knowingly that you will do single turbo setup once you pop this engine? Why not got to final form of S4 with single build all at once
