    Great job… I use the Mood for specific reverse delays but your helping me open it up further!

    Love it! I really gotta get a midi box so I can use my MC6 with Mood. Seems like it would open up a lot of possibilities.

      Oh for sure! It’s great to be able to dial in a wild sound/setting and be able to pull it back up at any time. The two on board presets can be very limiting very quickly.

    When the ventris Reverb comes on... Nice

    Thanks for this. Very helpful. Is it only MOOD here, or were you using other pedals ? Also, which amp ?

      Hey glad you found this helpful! It is just mood for 90% of the video. I turn on a big reverb and delay with my ventris and nemesis at the very end to show how I would use it in context.

      Also I’m running into my HX stomp running stereo amps.

    Which Reverb setting is your favorite on the ventris? Because in this video after you turn on the Reverb I can't even tell you how epically beautiful that sound was

      I like the hall with room type set on the largest size or the E-Dome. Use those two a lot

      @@CaseyTomberlin Do you prefer your dual reverbs parallel or in series? Like did you mean hall into room?

    • @CaseyTomberlin
      @CaseyTomberlin  2 роки тому +1

      @@lcglazer I don’t usually run dual reverbs on the ventris but when I do it’s usually a smaller into a bigger reverb. I think what I meant to say in the comment was the “hall” reverb engine set on the “edome” room size. In the software you can choose from 4 -5 different sizes.

    Thanks for this great video. Love to get new inspiration for using my Mood. Are you using the dipswitches here? Loved it!

    • @CaseyTomberlin

      I have the trails switch engaged but I’m using my midi controller to activate presets with ramping features

      Casey Tomberlin Thanks!! Really like what you do with it.

    In that last piece you play here you mention you use the ramp function on the mix control, right? Is that already programmed in the preset you are in? Or are you controlling the ramping any other way? Sorry, but I find the whole dipswitch thing kinda confusing.

    • @CaseyTomberlin
      @CaseyTomberlin  3 роки тому +2

      No problem at all Tim. I am controlling the ramping of the mix knob with my iPad. You can do this via the dip switches but I use this alternative way to ramp two knobs at different speeds.

      @@CaseyTomberlin with the Ribn app I suppose? Really want to mess around with that too.

    • @CaseyTomberlin
      @CaseyTomberlin  3 роки тому

      Yes! The Ribn app is really easy to use with it. There are some others out there but Ribn made the most sense to me.

    Can the right side of the pedal be an always-on looper, like it'll play a phrase while listening to a new phrase and then playing that one?
    Also I see if you turn down the clock, the loop gets slower, lower pitched and more lo-fi. If I first set the clock to a lower quality before I record, then engage, will it immediately be at that slow, low pitched, lo-fi sound? (It seems this effect can only be achieved by recording and engaging the switch, then turning CCW the clock knob.) Thanks!

    • @CaseyTomberlin
      @CaseyTomberlin  2 роки тому

      Hey Icglazer, you will have to re engage the looping side to start a new loop. I have heard you can hold it down to record something nee but I haven’t tried that out yet. The clock knob controls the overall “length/quality” of everything. Lower clock gives you longer loop time, delay time, reverb decay, but also lowers the quality. If you loop something and adjust the clock, it is changes the loop in 5ths and octaves depending if you go up or down in clock speed.

    What dipswitch is on?

    • @CaseyTomberlin
      @CaseyTomberlin  3 роки тому +1

      I just have the trails dip switch engaged have spill over from the OBNE side.
