Hello Sophie. I sold my Lady Dior because I was too worried to wear it in Paris, I now use bags that close properly and with cross body straps. I am always amazed seeing tourists in the tube wearing luxury items and not paying attention to their surroundings. Loved to see your bunny.
Saw loads of Hermes’ Kelly bags in Tokyo. The women had very understated luxury clothes. In fact, they can put their $35,000 bag down on a cafe seat to reserve it, leave to get their order and come back to the table. Completely safe! My wife literally gave away that Dior bag to Salvation Army during our last move. Hopefully someone puts it to good use .

Finally someone makes a video about this, honestly in Europe I only dare to carry tote bags around 20-30 euros. Carrying anything from designer brand makes me feel like I draw a target on my back
Which part of Europe is that? In the Netherlands I've never noticed any problems like that. Only Rolex watches have really gotten dangerous. There were reportings of chopped off hands and such. I mean...bags do get stolen but not so extremely often that people stopped carrying them...same for Belgium. I think we are getting back to the problem of lifestyle: these bags are meant to be going with a lifestyle... these bags used to be bought by clients who were driven around by a chauffeur.
I hear you. But even the very wealthy in London use the London underground. It's the best and most logical way to get around the city. I see celebrities on the underground all the time. And even Rihanna famously got on the tube to get to her concert. It's just how people in London navigate the city in today's world
@@amo2464 I guess they hop on it for the sake of fun, to mingle with people, but Rihanna has a choice and she doesnt mind if her Hermes bag is taken, minor inconvencience, it is not her lifesaving, she has another 10, maybe more ... like I a saw a male celebrity sunbathing on the beach right next a giant Hermes bag in the sand on the beach with his suff (cannot remember his name) .Have a look at the Lady Dior bag, in Princess Diana's hands... not the same lifestyle. A few months ago I watched a youtuber going to Dior London in a head to toe white outfit with a chauffeur in a RollsRoyce, that is the life I am thinking about, when you can have a nice outfit with a nice bag , pop, in buy something nice for yourself, then hop into a nice restaurant to eat something with your beautiful bag, and during the weekend with another beautiful bag with a nice hat you can attend a beautiful afternoon tea in a prime location with your girlfriends watch the polo or enjoy the spa and have a chit chat.. Most people in reality dont need designer bags, but they need a good decent work bag that can carry your stuff and adds a bit of chic vibe, personality to your outfit and maybe one or two smaller cocktail bags but not for thousands if you go out to average bars... again in Annabelle your precious bag will not be taken. One of the commenters below was right with Kate Spade, etc bags. relatively nice quality and they do the job.
@@amo2464 Responded to you but my comment got removed but the key point is that Rihanna has a choice and for her losing a Hermes bag is a minor inconvenince not a life saving. Most people in my opinion need a nicer work bag so every day you feel chic a little bit and maybe one or two smaller bags when going out f but not for thousands each small ones. When you upgrade your lifestyle and you can dress up with them vs in leggings on the underground and you dont need to worry about your bags, you can buy designer bags! :-)

It's such a shame that the world has come to this 😢 . Why would anyone buy these super expensive bags only to have to leave them at home through fear of having them snatched while out and about.
Hi Sophie!!!! 13mins late today, currently watching Tv news. Years and years back I was mugged whilst carrying a Gucci bag and multiple shopping bags. It really knocked me for six but I still wear/carry my designer pieces, I bought them, I love them and I'm jolly well going to wear them!! One of my bags is featured in your list too. But I do understand I'm taking a risk. Bunny ❤❤❤ Hugs xx
Thanks for your awareness video. A good reminder indeed. I bought some designer bags some time back. I will not wear them when I go out alone or with company. London, Paris, Barcelona it’s everywhere the same. So sad and no government is tackling the crime. Diabolical !
The intrinsic value of any handbag (or any other item) is limited to the value of the materials it’s made of. This means that the tougher the financial situation, the closer the resale value of an authentic designer bag will be to the value of its leather and hardware, so if you buy a replica outright you’ll get a high-end bag that’s closest to the value of the raw materials.
Love the bunny cameos, so cute! 🐇 It totally makes sense that these bags in particular can be thief magnets. Thanks for sharing! Would love a video on the safest bags.
Criminal gangs have no doubt learned everything they know from hauls, shopping vlogs and handbag reviews. It’s a shame that people cannot share hobbies and passions without becoming targets for thieves but that’s the reality because of social media. People have reported Labubus (Pop Mart) being stolen, so I have no doubt that thieves will eventually learn to target contemporary items (which seem relatively affordable to the luxury community but are still massively valuable to a thief). I think hobbies and passions may need to go back to being private/small group/inner circle activities because sharing online means that your home could be targeted - it’s not enough to leave valuables at home. The less people know what you have the better.
PLEASE, I would love a video on the safest bags. I never take obvious designer bags when I go abroad, I think you are just asking for trouble. Instead, I have some nice nonlogo leather and canvas bags.
I used to see many women wearing Birkins and Kellys around London, now not so much! I knew it was because of the increase of thieves around wealthy neighbourhoods. I am glad I don't like B or K, and I don't like the classic flap, but I love the reissue. It is a shame, that people work hard and save up to wear nice things, and they can't even enjoy them. I really like this type of content, but I find it confusing when you show outfits while speaking in the background. If you could do 2 parts where you show outfits in one part and do a sit down part, it would be better for me to follow 🙏❤thank you!
With the addition of the Lizzy station near Bond st but deeper in Mayfair, i feel like it has brought more people into the area that would usually be pretty empty. With ease to grab and run and disappear into the tube and you are free to go anywhere, I would think this would make Mayfair more appealing to criminals. I dont agree with the saddle bag. I think tucking under your arm would be the safest. I also believe anything cross body bags are easy. Criminals will go for anything handle held or with a strap. They can just cut the strap. With winter coming, feeling that your crossbody strap has been cut, is harder through a thicker coat.
When i came to London in March I brought my ysl large loulou and bought and wore a new Prada. If i would go back (which I dont actually care to anymore) I would probably still wear the same loulou or my book tote shopping and still be able to wear something of the hermes, chanel, or dior when I am out with friends as they would also be. What is awful in UK is not being able to protect yourself, especially as a woman. In Florida, I wear all my bags (most of the ones you mention I have) and never feel unsafe or worried. I am either 'ready' if anyone comes near me, or my Man is also big and 'ready.' So I don't have this issue.
Bags that are not designer😊 that don't cost thousands. My most expensive are €500, most are high street and looks great. I like Dune, marks n Spencer, aldo,
Please don't let this alarmist nonsense about 'dangerous bags' spoil your trip. In any big city anywhere in the world has street crime and you should be sensible about your personal security. But Sophie doesn't cite a jot of empirical evidence for suggesting London has suddenly become a lawless, dangerous place. It hasn't. ' Luxury thieves' don't typically target individuals on the street for handbags - too risky and random; they target venues. Street thieves target mobile phones and purses (pick pockets), nothing to do with designer.
Stepping out of or getting in an expensive luxury vehicle - Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Ferrari, Bentley, etc - screams “I have a lot of money!” or “Look what I can afford and you can’t!”. Much more dangerous than any bag or other accessory. Unfortunately these days any display of wealth or conspicuous consumption is extremely imprudent and can invite the worst of consequences.
Having moved to London from Toronto (where I could wear all of my designer bags freely), I only brought two with me because I heard of the crime here. I brought my Fendi Baguette and Celine Triomphe. I definitely feel more comfortable wearing my Celine, rather than my Fendi because it's not as loud. However, I am now looking for contemporary and local brands that are well-made and beautiful to add to my collection so I can wear them more freely. I am even considering Coach bags since I have been liking some of their newer designs.
Dear Sophie, I'm completely shocked of this report from London. I would have expected that at all never ever! When you are going out carrying your luxurious bags in Munich-Germany or Dublin-Republic of Ireland it's safe still and nobody's trying to attack you. However, I would not go out after it's dark outside already and if, only accompanied by a friend or family member, I'd avoid public transport or to travel on my own car but to take a taxi home from the place I'd be in town. Dear greetings from Dublin, Suschka...🙋♀️😃❤
I traveled to London from the US last spring and carried a crossbody Travelon with locking zippers. I’m sure I stuck out as a tourist, but no one ever gave me a second look and I had a great time. Also wore a silicone wedding band.
My daughter (who lives in London) wouldn’t let me get her a designer (going out bag) bag for her birthday, because she likes going out in Central London and she said you will get targeting if you have a nice bag. When I offered her a fake she said that’s just as bad. I’m sure it’s partly due the age difference and she’s seeing a different side of London compared to you, even so I wonder how some people walk around London (as you mentioned) with Berkin’s and Kelly’s!?
I saw a video of a woman showing how she wears a classic flap- She doubles up the the chain, puts the bag around her waist, takes one of the chains and pulls it up over her shoulder. This seems great but the chain needs to be quite long or the wearer to be quite slim 😂 I think non-logo and less popular designer bags are a lot safer. I wonder if a Gucci Jackie 1961, for instance, would be safe 🤔
After I got pick pocketed on 2nd day in London I was too scared to wear my Chanel gst out. I brought it to take cute pictures with and I can carry a good amount of stuff in. But it's completely open and I figured if I didn't even feel someone go in my pocket, I was screwed with my purse. It sucks, it just sat in my hotel looking pretty lol
I love my Dior book and just like you enjoy using it. I must I’m say I do notice people look at it which makes me feel vulnerable. Such a shame we can no longer peacefully enjoy our lux items.
When we visit London next summer, I was contemplating what bag to wear for our trip as I was aware of the uptick in crime in London since our last visit in 2023. I would love to see a video about safer bags to wear. I thought I might bring my Longchamp Le Pliage bag for the trip. Fits enough things and isn't too big and bulky. Great video!
Thank you Sophie for another really useful vudeo. I bought my classic Chanel flap specifically for travelling around London and other cities as I find it so useful. So far I have had no problems but I always try to be vigilant when out and about. Please do tell us which bags are the safe options.
Thank you for all your chic advice videos and this safety theft advice video. We have the same problem of bag theft in NYC. Guys on bikes often grab bags or chains and ride away, They prefer small bags so I prefer to carry a large Tote bag with an understated designer engraved label as one wants to still be stylish. When wearing a smaller designer bag I wear it inside my coat when walking in certain areas.
Hi! Just suscribed. I've been watching your vids for the past couple of days now and decided to take the plunge. I'm in the U.S but I have ties to Great Britain. I don't have any luxury bags or anything but it's fun for me to watch. I like it when you vlog around town. Reminds me of the time I spent there.
Hello my friend! I just wanted to take a minute to thank you so much for the subscribe, it’s so appreciated and I hope you love it here! Hugs from the uk xx🩷
I use all my designer bags. I really don’t care. I never have any issues. Wear your bags with confidence. Dress casual. Don’t draw attention to yourself.
So sad! When we were in London 2017, I felt so safe and totally carried my luxury items. We are coming for a visit next month and wanted to wear some of my luxury items. But we are also visiting Rome and I knew that would be tricky there. Highly recommend Vienna! Many people were wearing luxury without issues. - An American Follower. Love you!
I’d agree with the list as the bags people want to steal are just so recognisable! For me though my most used luxury bags in London are: 1) Chanel mini flap - fits a lot but also sits great across my body (same like your heart Chanel) and it can be tucked away under my coats etc. plus hard to pickpocket as you can’t easily get in 2) my abc Dior (I wear her all the time so very scratched up!) but very good cross body and with the flap?? Forget it, so hard to get in for me, so very hard to pickpocket too!!! 3) YsL Cassandra - good crossbody (I rarely use my top handle of this bag), it doesn’t scratch and it has the type of lock closure that if you don’t know how to open it, you can’t get in! Other bags I’ve had I’ve sold. I’d love Hermes one day, but an old battered birkin for work, not as a status object as such. I feel by that point a their might not want it haha.
Love the vlog. Many don’t cover topics like this so it was very interesting to watch. Would love to hear what is the safest bags to use. I always carry my Uniqlo crossbody when I’m in London XX
Yes, a video on hansome bags but not tempting for thieves would be interesting Sophie. Thanks for sharing all that because I visit London almost every year.
Thank you for addressing this issue. I feel it's also becoming a problem in some cities in the US, as well. BTW, Lola is such a cute chonky girl! I had rescue rabbits for years. At one point, we had seven! It was complete insanity. But we do miss them.
thank you for this video. glad someone is calling it out. idk how people wear their bags for example in pairs. when I went last yr, I didn't see one high end bag. i was hoping to see birkins left and right. everyone was trying to cover them up. even when I went shopping at the main chanel store the SA asked, you're headed to your hotel right after this right. based on that I did, even thought I wanted to continue shopping and walk around with my bags but decided if she had to say that, better follow her advice. i also didn't take any, I was too scared they would get stolen. even my luggage was cheap lol. however when I went to japan I was all about labels. i felt very safe strolling around with my chanel xxl travel flap in bright pink.
I don't think that I've ever clicked on a video so fast. This is the kind of content that we need! Please keep this up Sophie! I would love if you would address more _unsafe_ things to wear in _X_ part of London
I always look at peoples designer bags. My son and I enjoy playing the real or fake game when we see them 😂 What are you thoughts on the hermes picotin in london? Its handheld but not sure how recognisable it is? Reading the comments on here its such a shame people have all these beautiful bags and they have to leave them at home 😢
It's so weird to me that there would be purse snatchers in wealthy areas, I've never heard of that before. I guess it would make sense, but you would think those are the safest areas.
That's prime theft area. A family friend had a home behind Harrods and it got burgled. In these areas people tend to feel safe as well as being distracted shopping, on phone or brunching etc
I used to use my Louis Vuitton bag in London before covid. Went out about 6 months ago with it and it just felt wrong. Felt like I was going to get mugged. Now its safe in its dust bag and box above my wardrobe. Lol
I have a calfskin Reissue mini pouch in Classic size Medium/Large and for me it has the size, discreetness and softness to be my everyday bag. I have a classic large size as I love the construction as it's roomy but I've never worn it in Australia as I've never seen them around and I thought it was too "flashy" but In Europe - it is perfect *xbagy*
I think Florida is a terrific conservative state that enforces the laws. In Arizona, we have rising crime, especially in Scottsdale. You would never want to be out and about in large CA cities!
Great video! I would love see a video about the safest bags. Videos about safest/dangerous accessories would be great too because know you have some opinions about warches, etc. The only point from yhis video that really suprised me is the exotics just because there are SO many embossed leather bags out there and so few exotics. I would be suprised if theives can spot the genuine ones from a distance. I suppose they might just take a chance and target you anyways because the payoff is so big.
Sorry but isnt this commen sense witchever bag you use? I cannot afford a chanel bag but yes i still Look if my bag has a zipper aaaand an near body compartmend for my Phone. But thinking a crossbody bag is saver is just an illusion. If someone wants to steal your bag, they just cut thru it, even if they have to replace the strap, its still a win for them.
I just recently came back from London & decided to only take bags I wouldn't be afraid to "lose" & were crossbody after being warned by so many people. ended up taking a vintage Gucci I got for $75 (so it wouldn't be much of a loss if it was stolen) & my Mini Speedy so I could easily chuck it into a tote 😂but I wore them under my coat & only took them out for pictures lol. oh and bought a tether for my phone & kept it around my wrist bc of all the phone snatching going on 😅
A video about the safest bags to wear in London would be very much appreciated. When I travel I like to take one of my Aspinal Large Lotties because they are very elegant and comfortable but it’s not a brand that is well known outside the UK. However in Britain it may be different, I don’t know. I do prefer the plain pebbled leather to the quilted ones. I feel that a bag thief may snatch those and check out whether it’s a Chanel flap later. With the plain leather it’s obviously not even from a distance. What are your thoughts on the safety of mid priced luxury brands like Aspinal, Strathberry or Demellier in London? They are very safe in Melbourne because hardly anyone knows the brands.
I’ve lived in London all my life and carry my designer bags - never had a problem. This is just scaremongering! Also, carried my Chanel in Paris several time and no issues either. Just be aware of your surroundings and carry your stuff!
Even though it is scary, I wouldn't leave the things I love/expensive things on my shelf for years until I die. Also have insurance for when you're outside the house!
We are tired of seeing prices go up every year while quality goes down. Add to that the sweatshop controversy and it's easy to go to other more affordable brands. As you said, kislux really popular
Is this all of london? I see loads of influencers walking around with their designer handbags and what not, just wondering if it’s a select few areas? Xx
Adore your bunny. Delighted with his cameo appearance. I ams starting to think about using dupes. London is getting a terrible reputation. A certain population is turning the place wretched and unsafe.
I have lots of designer bags (chanel , balenciaga, hermes etc) that i have worn in all parts of London with no problem. If you dont look rich and dont fit the thieves profile they think its fake in lots of areas. Im also mixed race and im sure you get targeted less if you are a different race sometimes (not always if you are dressed in an obvious rich way ) i am also extremely street savvy as i am a born and bred Londoner and naturally watch people like a hawk😂
Finally someone not afraid to talk about what needs to be talked about 👏👏👏
As a recent owner of a Birkin and a Chanel I feel I need to leave these at home but it's such a shame I can't enjoy them in some places.
Yep! At this point with the way society is it’s almost a waste of money to even buy luxury today. Can never freaking wear it!

Do you find it too wide/big and bulky? I’ve just bought the*jklux* which is basically the same width and my only worry is it bumping into things and wear on the corners, has yours scuffed?
Exactly ☝️
Thank you for including the rabbit.
The litte "manager/director" is so, so cute...huh?
Always love seeing people's pets making appearances in their videos. Cute!
Thanks for your awareness video. A good reminder indeed. I bought some designer bags some time back. I will not wear them when I go out alone or with company.
London, Paris, Barcelona it’s everywhere the same.
So sad and no government is tackling the crime.
Diabolical !
a lot of the crime is foreign gangs who hop on a plane
At this point the safest bag is a Tesco life bag 😂
Or the walmart 50 dollar birkin dupe everyone is buying😂
The intrinsic value of any handbag (or any other item) is limited to the value of the materials it’s made of. This means that the tougher the financial situation, the closer the resale value of an authentic designer bag will be to the value of its leather and hardware, so if you buy a replica outright you’ll get a high-end bag that’s closest to the value of the raw materials.
Yes to the safest bags video! A great theme and very relevant one sadly....
This was so interesting. Thanks for modeling those lovely outfits and letting us visit with your sweet bunny.
the biggest game changer for me was reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D
@@TheSafetyMarshalPSF yes england hates women even pepper spray is illegal
This was great and i would love a video on the safest bags.
Bags that are not designer😊 that don't cost thousands. My most expensive are €500, most are high street and looks great. I like Dune, marks n Spencer, aldo,
Sad times 🥲 omg the bunny running around in the video is so cute 😍😍
Nuts! What are your elected government officials doing about it?
they're usually in on it, normally a copper's cousin
Yes, please, safe bags video, too
Yes please do the safest bag to use. I will be in London soon and would definitely help. Thanks. What do you think of Mulberry bag? Safe enough?
Great video. Please do one abouit the safest bags to carry. Thank you.
I now wear my £14.99 uniqlo bag 😢 i miss being able to wear my luxe bags in London now
Aweee the bunny 🥰 please add Lola more to your blogs. She is a beauty!
Sophie! I barely get time to catch up on UA-cam these days! It’s so nice to finally have some time to catch up with your content ❤
Yay! Thank you!xx🥰
I saw a video of a woman showing how she wears a classic flap- She doubles up the the chain, puts the bag around her waist, takes one of the chains and pulls it up over her shoulder. This seems great but the chain needs to be quite long or the wearer to be quite slim 😂
I think non-logo and less popular designer bags are a lot safer.
It sucks, it just sat in my hotel looking pretty lol
hotel rooms get robbed very easily, apparently a highlighter pen can be used to open those card readers
lol the Bunny cameo makes this video!!
I plan a trip to London with my mom next year but I definitely won't bring any of my fancy stuff with me.
The same with me. But I’m going to Rio de Janeiro in Brasil.
Including jewelry!!
@@jonnyfendi2003 Yes, including jewellery! 👍🏻
you’re literally my comfort person i love you *xbagy* bag !
Nice outfits ❤
Btw, I am going to London next summer, shall I only take the mini evelyne?
I love my Dior book and just like you enjoy using it. I must I’m say I do notice people look at it which makes me feel vulnerable.
Such a shame we can no longer peacefully enjoy our lux items.
When we visit London next summer, I was contemplating what bag to wear for our trip as I was aware of the uptick in crime in London since our last visit in 2023. I would love to see a video about safer bags to wear. I thought I might bring my Longchamp Le Pliage bag for the trip. Fits enough things and isn't too big and bulky. Great video!
I wouldn't come, there will be even more migrants by then. It's more dangerous if you are white.
Thank you Sophie for another really useful vudeo. I bought my classic Chanel flap specifically for travelling around London and other cities as I find it so useful. So far I have had no problems but I always try to be vigilant when out and about. Please do tell us which bags are the safe options.
Are for real? Where is the statics on this. A crook will take a bag off anyone any bag. Just have to be alert of your surroundings.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you MOMCOCO bag !
Love your choice of topic. Continue to keep us informed.💕💕💕
@@SophieShohetOfficialyou’re the sweetest ❤
I use all my designer bags. I really don’t care. I never have any issues.
Wear your bags with confidence. Dress casual. Don’t draw attention to yourself.

So sad! When we were in London 2017, I felt so safe and totally carried my luxury items. We are coming for a visit next month and wanted to wear some of my luxury items. But we are also visiting Rome and I knew that would be tricky there.
Highly recommend Vienna! Many people were wearing luxury without issues. - An American Follower. Love you!
I’d agree with the list as the bags people want to steal are just so recognisable! For me though my most used luxury bags in London are:
1) Chanel mini flap - fits a lot but also sits great across my body (same like your heart Chanel) and it can be tucked away under my coats etc. plus hard to pickpocket as you can’t easily get in
2) my abc Dior (I wear her all the time so very scratched up!) but very good cross body and with the flap?? Forget it, so hard to get in for me, so very hard to pickpocket too!!!
3) YsL Cassandra - good crossbody (I rarely use my top handle of this bag), it doesn’t scratch and it has the type of lock closure that if you don’t know how to open it, you can’t get in!
Other bags I’ve had I’ve sold. I’d love Hermes one day, but an old battered birkin for work, not as a status object as such. I feel by that point a their might not want it haha.
Dear Sophie, 🎉🎉Happy Happy bday!! Wishing you all the good health, luck and lotts of Love on your special day🎉🎉🎉
Thank you my friend!!🙏🩷🥰xx
Love the vlog. Many don’t cover topics like this so it was very interesting to watch. Would love to hear what is the safest bags to use. I always carry my Uniqlo crossbody when I’m in London XX
Thanks for making this video on suggesting more budget friendly alternatives. Love it!
Is a video on the safest bag really necessary? I guess most people know that a simple longchamp bag should keep you out of harm's way! Xx
MZ Wallace bags. Made for the women of NYC. Multiple interchangeable straps and chains. Zippers and pockets galore. Check them out!
I always look at peoples designer bags. My son and I enjoy playing the real or fake game when we see them 😂
What are you thoughts on the hermes picotin in london? Its handheld but not sure how recognisable it is?
Reading the comments on here its such a shame people have all these beautiful bags and they have to leave them at home 😢
This is my favorite game. I can spot a wonky stich a mile away wearing sunglasses at night.
@@TheSafetyMarshalPSF My son is getting pretty good too
It's so weird to me that there would be purse snatchers in wealthy areas, I've never heard of that before.
Lol
Omg Sophie🥰🥰🥰that lip color on you is amazing❤️The hoodie color too❤️🥰so gorgeous on you❤️🥰
I have a calfskin Reissue mini pouch in Classic size Medium/Large and for me it has the size, discreetness and softness to be my everyday bag. I have a classic large size as I love the construction as it's roomy but I've never worn it in Australia as I've never seen them around and I thought it was too "flashy" but In Europe - it is perfect *xbagy*
Isn't that a shame? You can't go out with your nice things - it's rampant here in the USA!
Be specific. I wear all my stuff (I have most of what was discussed in here and some) where I am in Florida. No problems.
@@TheSafetyMarshalPSFluv our Gov😎
I think Florida is a terrific conservative state that enforces the laws. In Arizona, we have rising crime, especially in Scottsdale. You would never want to be out and about in large CA cities!
Great topic and tips ❤😊
Great video! I would love see a video about the safest bags. Videos about safest/dangerous accessories would be great too because know you have some opinions about warches, etc. The only point from yhis video that really suprised me is the exotics just because there are SO many embossed leather bags out there and so few exotics. I would be suprised if theives can spot the genuine ones from a distance. I suppose they might just take a chance and target you anyways because the payoff is so big.
Your saddlebag is the best version I've ever seen. You should carry it more.
Typically they cut the strap for the wallet phone and other valuables inside
I only wear luxury bags that can be worn cross body, in the colder seasons it’s worn under my coat not over.
I just recently came back from London & decided to only take bags I wouldn't be afraid to "lose" & were crossbody after being warned by so many people. ended up taking a vintage Gucci I got for $75 (so it wouldn't be much of a loss if it was stolen) & my Mini Speedy so I could easily chuck it into a tote 😂but I wore them under my coat & only took them out for pictures lol. oh and bought a tether for my phone & kept it around my wrist bc of all the phone snatching going on 😅
Yes, please, do a video on the safest bags to wear out and about.
You can put a thin sweater or scarf over it on the street, or just tuck it inside your coat under your arm, as well. I know. That sucks. 😢
Going to travel to London next year and I am happy I got no expensive brand bags.
The jacket in outfit # 1 is so cute! 😊
Hello Autumn!!MOMCOCO bag collection has grown a lot. They are beautiful. Beautiful toys. It’s a great size for me. Congrats on you new bag.
I carry mostly no logo bags these days, like Proenza Schouler PS bags. Not many people know these bags.
I’ve lived in London all my life and carry my designer bags - never had a problem. This is just scaremongering! Also, carried my Chanel in Paris several time and no issues either. Just be aware of your surroundings and carry your stuff!
I am so OVER worrying about bags. Why on earth would I pay $5,000-$10,000 for a bag that I am afraid of being mugged for?
Even though it is scary, I wouldn't leave the things I love/expensive things on my shelf for years until I die. Also have insurance for when you're outside the house!
Some people want to treat themselves. And bags are ment to be worn.
I love my Lady Dior Bags. I have several sizes and colorways.
I wear this Chanel bag crossbody always as I thought it would be safer that way. I’ll probably rethink this now.
Yes do a video on safe bags to travel with.
It’s so sad we have to plan our lives around thieves but we do.
It really is a sad state of affairs that women are not safe in some public places just carrying their bags. I can see why stealth wealth is a thing.
Hi Sophie! Very useful video, thank you! Could you please make a video for the safeties bags? ❤
I love this video! I would love to see the safest bags to use as well
We are tired of seeing prices go up every year while quality goes down. Add to that the sweatshop controversy and it's easy to go to other more affordable brands. As you said, kislux really popular
Is this all of london? I see loads of influencers walking around with their designer handbags and what not, just wondering if it’s a select few areas? Xx
They typically go in taxis or cars to and from restaurants or luxury stores and they hardly walk and never go on public transport.
Adore your bunny. Delighted with his cameo appearance. I ams starting to think about using dupes. London is getting a terrible reputation. A certain population is turning the place wretched and unsafe.
Same as in Melbourne australia
I like dupes but we could still get robbed for them depending on how close they are.
@@seabreeze4559 Good point
I have lots of designer bags (chanel , balenciaga, hermes etc) that i have worn in all parts of London with no problem. If you dont look rich and dont fit the thieves profile they think its fake in lots of areas. Im also mixed race and im sure you get targeted less if you are a different race sometimes (not always if you are dressed in an obvious rich way ) i am also extremely street savvy as i am a born and bred Londoner and naturally watch people like a hawk😂
Please do a video on the safest bags to use! Thanks!
Safest Bags would be a great video. I am planning a trip and want to carry lovely bags but not get robbed.
