Have the same exact issue on a 2000 F250. Leak in the brake line near about 1/2 way back. Got it fixed, but the master cylinder emptied out the night before, so now I have air in the ABS module. Tried bleeding the brakes, but the pedal still goes to the floor. Looks like I need a better scan tool! Thanks, this helped a lot!
Ah good point, the scanner tool cycles the ABS similar to the way that they cycle when activated while braking. Duly noted and thank you for the feedback 👍
I watched this and I used the slide in my yard Method and worked great. Did it 3 times in a row and bam the pedal has came up to normal. Thanks great tip
The forscan app and a compatible bluetooth adapter let me do that as well as injector buzz tests and others, on my 2003 7.3 for about $40 total. Might ask on ford forums for the newer models, what people use.
I am at wits end, been bleeding carefully and properly with no luck, still a spongy pedal. I did all new calipers and did NOT let my master get low...so frustrated. I'm going to buy this tool, my truck is an 06 F350, what year is yours?
@@EricThompsonClimber not yet, it's been sitting in my shop for a month, hoping to get back to it soon. Please let me know if you have any luck before me.
Mines an 05. I just read that the abs modual get air and some mechanics that dont have the tool just drive it, slam on the brakes so the abs comes on three times then go home and bleed it as the air from the abs modual goes in the lines. I'm replacing my master cylinder when it gets here.
Just a tip. Make sure u didn’t install the caliper up side down. The bleeder valve should be on top of the caliper. If it’s on the bottom, u will never get air out no matter what. That was a painful lesson I learned.
Can't wait to show you the power bleeder life......2 hours later? how about 2 minutes later!!
Will it work on a 2003 ford f250 diesel
Good job, the one video I found that really helped.
Awesome, thank you!
Awesome. But that supposed to be 5min video max. I had to skip so much. But thank u for info
Great vid!!!!! That is Awesome!!! I just did my brakes and rotors. Bleeding the brake line is next!!!! 🤩
Thank you! 🙂 How did bleeding the brakes go?

Kind of pointless
Not telling how abs was bleed

So I bought the tool I did the abs bleed, while the abs module was activated, the brake pedal went to the floor. Did you experience this?
it looks like you could use some S&B body mounts, the cab isnt level with the bed in this video
Still my favorite truck on UA-cam lol. Picking up mine tomorrow from the shop, finally got her lifted
Thank you! How is it looking now that it's lifted?
Good stuff man I love it! I had a rusted line in my engine bay. Luckily it didn't completely drain it, just a slow leak. 👍🏼
Do you have to pull dust caps off abs pump before bleeding
No, only took the cap off of the brake fluid reservoir to make sure the fluid flows nicely through the module

Hello. Does the method you used with Maxicheck Pro work on a 2015 F350. Is the maxicheck pro compatible with a 2015 f350?

Where did you find the abs module?
Do you bleed the brake calipers after every autobleed? Or after 2 or three autobleeds
What's a CD?
🙏🏻
Thank you!

Same. Did you ever find a solution?

@@EricThompsonClimber yeah, I saw that too, that's why I want the scan tool...I have been over everything else.
