Nice top 5!! I have a grindstone ginkgo that I’m gonna lime this coming spring. I never even knew you needed to lime ginkgos until I started watching yalls videos!! Thanks for the hot tip. #japanesemaples #bestinthebusiness #mrmaplebringstheheat 🍁🔥💯
Super cool episode🔥. Grindstone looks fantastic and Princeton gold to👌🏼. I love this top 5 because their all different sizes to make a perfect fit in a space🤩. #japanesemaples❤️🍁🔥.
The Okie 5; Mariken, Autumn Gold, Princeton Sentry, Slovakian Princess, Sky Tower. Second stringers; Snow Cloud, Troal, and Beiging Gold. I need a female to annoy the neighbors :)
From seed it would always be 50/50 male or female so a graft is the best way to the get a known male. If it doesn’t have a cultivar name it’s just from seed. Doesn’t have anything to do with hybrids
Let’s go!!! Everyone needs at least one ginkgo!

#Japanesemaples . love ginko s ❤️
thinking of buying my first Gingko...hmm...which will it be?
They are awesome plants!
Out of all the ginkos which would u say have the smallest leaves and best for bonsai? #japanesemaples
Goshikuba has the smallest foliage. Mariken is a great compact form I prefer the most
@@MrMapleShow thanks alot guys! These ginkos look cool would love to make a bonsai out of them. Love that yellow fall color. !
What should I specify if i want an ungrafted noncultivar (i.e., of "original" lineage, not hybridized) male?

@@MrMapleShow How about a cutting from a known male tree?
@@sidney4329 they don’t grow as strong so it’s possible just much weaker plants
