    The Okie 5; Mariken, Autumn Gold, Princeton Sentry, Slovakian Princess, Sky Tower. Second stringers; Snow Cloud, Troal, and Beiging Gold. I need a female to annoy the neighbors :)

    Out of all the ginkos which would u say have the smallest leaves and best for bonsai? #japanesemaples

      Goshikuba has the smallest foliage. Mariken is a great compact form I prefer the most

    What should I specify if i want an ungrafted noncultivar (i.e., of "original" lineage, not hybridized) male?

    • @MrMapleShow
      @MrMapleShow  11 місяців тому

      From seed it would always be 50/50 male or female so a graft is the best way to the get a known male. If it doesn’t have a cultivar name it’s just from seed. Doesn’t have anything to do with hybrids

      @@MrMapleShow How about a cutting from a known male tree?

      @MrMapleShow  11 місяців тому

      @@sidney4329 they don’t grow as strong so it’s possible just much weaker plants
