Somehow my local food lion got this huge group this past spring of random cultivars of ginkgo biloba. That said all tags said just ginkgo biloba lol digging thru the I kid you not 100 trees I found a very weeping one. I've went thru yalls files and recognized alot of the forms they had but not the one I have. Mine has the leader goes to 3 feet then goes horizontal with the side branches being horizontal. I want to say it's a weeper but it's not a ryusen habit. I'm not sure if it's grafted either God knows what I have but for a 5 gallon 3 foot tall ginkgo for 20 bucks you can't beat it.

Just got my eighth different cultivar from da bro's. I got hocked after visiting a city park near me that has 20 are so different Ginkgo's that are 20 years old or more. Man they are beautiful to walk under this time of years.

Since watching this 2 months ago I’ve bought 8 MrMaple Ginkgo’s. I got frustrated thinking of a plant that will take sun, ice and still look amazing and then pop color. I needed small, med and tall trees and shrubs with dense gorgeous unusual foliage. No brainer, but took me awhile to figure it out! Thank you Gentlemen ❤

I have watched any of your videos where you suggest using a lime with Ginkgo trees. If I am taking seasonal readings of my soil, what pH should I aim for? 7, 8?

I read they could be. Look it up on tree center plant supply. They have a long informative description and in Uses, mentioned they keep in pots well for some years. I planted the Zelkova columnar today. It’s huge and you’d so love it. I’m in love with Fothergilla. I’ve got 2 from Mrmaple already and another Jane platt ordered today. Have a peek really cool and scented flowers 😎

I admit I copied you again and ordered Fat Albert from coniferK.We are getting the best from mrmaple for sure. Out of 39 Japanese maples and a ton more that I have received since June, only 2 arrived with damage (leader broke in half.) on Sycoparrotia varigata and Grancy Geybeard. Waiting for replacements.
@@cindyl3916 you will like conifer kingdom packaging.. they put plastic cover and 4 bamboo sticks on the each corner, so the trees would't move.. sure.. I will post it on facebook or something when I got it.. you don't need a facebook account to view a public photo..

Most ginkgo trees in the east Bay Area are small could they be grafted?
Also someone I know is going to grow ginkgoes from seeds she will give me a tree and when the tree gets big enough we will be planting it at pogo park in Richmond ca.
Could be young but may also be a selection. Look for a graft at the base

How do you buy these on your website? I don’t several of these on your website on the Ginkgo tab.
Can you get a male that is NOT grafted?
From seed it would be all luck and hade a 50/50 chance of being a female

@@MrMapleShow Am I right in thinking that if one has a choice between acquiring a grafted tree, and one that is not grafted, the latter is preferable for hardiness, etc.?
No grafts far out preform rooted cuttings of ginkgo in terms of growth, root system and disease resistance grafts are far superior
