I remember being aware of the High Life and So Haunt me, but never watched them. By then I was gone from days of having the tv on all the time as we did in the 70's, and only watched what interested. The forgotten sitcom of the 90's will always be Herman's Head for me. Which I found by chance when channel hopping. Only on in the late hours of channel four on a saturday night in this country. Never released on physical media. Thank goodness it's on you tube. Still great fun. Any similarities with a certain pixar movie are probably coincidental. Forgotten: Caroline in the city. Lasted four years. About a cartoonist and her quirky friends. Notable for having Matthew Perry and David Hyde Pierce appear as their characters from certain other shows. Channel four had it on friday nights around the same time as Friends and Frasier. But I never heard talk about it, so I don't think it ever quite caught on over here.
I remember Caroline in the City, I really liked it. It also helped that I fancied Leah Thompson. I also remember Herman’s Head, it always reminded me of the Numskulls from the Dandy comic.
@@LeonLein82, I never saw 15 Storeys High when it was originally broadcast but did buy it on DVD about 2010. Later on when I saw the first MCU Doctor Strange film I was surprised to realise that it was the actor that played Errol in 15 Storeys High that was playing Wong.
@@LeonLein82 I just dug out my DVD copy and had a look on the back and it says written by Sean Lock, Martin Trenaman and Mark jones, which is Mark Lamarr’s real name. I don’t know why he isn’t listed as Mark Lamarr, maybe it’s to distinguish between him as a writer to his on screen personality.
Another 90s sitcom most forget about us 'Sunnyside Farm'. It last just one series l think. It started Phil Daniels and Mark Addy as hapless brothers Ray and Ken, owners of said farm and Michael Kitchen as a nearby ruthless upper class land owner.
I have the High Life DVD of the series. Which includes the original pilot episode. Which didn't actually end up being the 1st episode.Though much of it did. It's just.... slightly different if you will. The broadcast 1st episode is there as well of course as part of the full series. Brilliant sitcom. Who knows if it would have worked for another series? Maybe not. But the 4 main characters were excellent. (Sebastian, Steve, Shona and Captain Hilary Duff.)
Blue Heaven. Written by and starring Frank Skinner. Only ran for one pilot episode, then around half a dozen more in one series. A little ropey, but funny.
I suspect there was a good reason why most, if not all, of these never got a second series. I only remember that Scottish one and didn't think much of it at the time. The rest, I haven't a clue.
Interesting selection. However, your levels are all over the place. Please normalise your audio so that all your clips are approximately the same loudness.

Got the Big Girl’s Blouse DVD somewhere.
I remember liking So Haunt Me, but I don't know how well it would hold up. Weird to think that Bob was in it, without Rita & Sue.
Are you going to reupload the pigsty video sorry to bother you i appreciate it if you do
Townies starred a young Bill Burr.
Have you done captain butler yet?

15 Storeys High was fantastic. Written by Sean Lock and Mark Lamarr, wasn't it?
Trashbat!

Wasn't that part of the Channel 4 series of pilots that also included Paul Whitehouse's Dead At Thirty and Reeves and Mortimer's The Weekenders?
