Hi three-way. What is that little cup of additive for? Is it Elmers glue?
It's NoPock like a dish soap without smell. It reduces air bubbles, easier sand, and smoother mud flow out of tools
No pock is awesome also speeds up dry time a little bit
@@3WAYDrywallCornerFinishing I use perfume and dye free laundry soap. Basically the same thing.
What anglehead are you using with that tool?
How did you get it to pump so smooth? I’ve read a lot of people struggle pumping mud in the first time
Clean tools, we'll greased and maintenance, thin enough mud. Probably the biggest factor you see is a very strong guy that's done it for 18 years
No pock in your material really helps smooth out the mud filling process but the mudshot has always been a bit of a heavier fill process than the traditional angle box
How is it? Do you have to push much like the angle box or does the bit just flow out when that tip is pushed in?
It's hydronic, you need to push a little but not as hard as an angle box. There's a nut you set (behind the angle head) for mud flow.
The tool is advertised as gas operated. But in the end, all that means is as you are filling the tube the mud piston compresses air into the cylinder inside the shaft
hi man, what do you put in your mixture, washing up liquid too?
It's NoPuck like soap, no smell. Runs smoother, less air bubbles, easier sand
Can you install the inside corners with the mudshot?
The 3way goes in first, so do the tapes. The mudshot and angle head coat the angles with mud. The 3way doesn't need to be sculpted out with mud in the corner like traditional taping (3 tapes overlapping)
If im understanding this right you can use this tool for any application that a traditional mud tube can use. Inside or outside corners, mud set beads, no coats as well! All you need are the application attachments!
what did you put into the mud? Softener?
No pock
What does mean pock?
i tought that This a softener or Washing dishes soap/ liquid
@@kamilknych7301 yea some people use that too. : pock means pock marks due to air bubbles in the mud popping. Leaves little craters/holes or "pocks"
The mud is easier to run though tools, trowel and sand.
How thin you put the mud I have problem running the corners
What tool are you using? For the mudshot, very similar to mud you'd use in boxes. Have the mud flow nut at the top not to open. It's better to pass a few times with control than have overloaded angles and a mess on the floor/walls
I’m using the mud shot but i mix my mud like when I’m using the boxed but I have a lot problems it doesn’t run good. Maybe I’m using really hard mud
@@brahyama.merlinjimenez6400 make sure your tool is super clean your angle filler is clean and well-adjusted. Does it have wheels? Without wheels does tend to hang-up more.Thin down your mud more if you like, not as thin as taping. Use a nopock for smooth running and machine oil on the hydronic and in your tube before you start. Just some troubleshooting stuff I've learned
@@3WAYDrywallCornerFinishing my angel it has wheels but for any reason is no running properly I thought it was because the mud I’m using is to thick but I’m really frustrated
@@brahyama.merlinjimenez6400 I really want to help ya, tough to do without being there!
