The mugshot just like a box you have to put water in it and slosh it around. There's holes in the back to let the water run out. Then pump up the mud runner. You'll see that it pumps up much easier

Make sure the piston ring isn’t pinched inside the cylinder, also silicone spray lubricant helps. My mudshot isn’t too hard to fill, but I always elevate my pump to about 2 feet off the ground

I just purchased a Mudshot, was hard to pump fill the first time so I called Level5 , they said to lube gaskets with 3 in 1 oil because the tube was dry, once I adjusted the flow it worked very well.
Like any new tool, have to learn the little tricks.

Personally I’ve used the mudshot ive ran about 1,000 sheets with it and it still is very hard to pump up. I use 3 in 1 oil ,silicone and it makes it a little easier but still to hard to pump up. I bought a whole dewalt set and for the price I’m very disappointed. I should’ve went with tape tech.

Mud runner works with the gas pressure in the handle. Have to twist the handle to cause mud to flow. Works except only one side of the handle is knurled, the other side is smooth. With any mud on your hands, it will slip. Contacted tape tech and they assured me both sides were knurled. Apparently the 2 I’ve had were special! Been sitting on the shelf for 3 years

Check the screen at the bottom of your pump. I've discovered some trash or something restricting the mud from loading the chamber. Also remember the mudshot spring will age and weaken over time, thus making it easier to load because of less resistance!

I found if you wet and lubricate the piston both sides before you start and use your weight on the pump its not so bad. The first time I used mine I did 99 internal angles in 4 hours including one break which was OK I thought. I am old now and had to go home for a sleep but was still pretty happy about it, just wish I had it 20 or 30 years ago..

My compound tube works like a syringe. Are you sure that you aren't filling it wrong? I just watched another video they used a dewalt pump and it took about three pumps to fill it and they didn't look like an easy pump. It dont hold much mud for the cost either.

@@omarzepeda7475 It's holding up really well. I haven't had any problems with it at all. The impressive thing to me is how long it lasts on one battery. Maybe it's just me but I kinda thought pumping up that MudShot would wear down a battery pretty quick. That's not the case at all. Now I'm getting older and ain't putting out as much production as my younger days but it has held up and I'm still really impressed with it.

Ok i ve just starting taping angles :
I use the bazooka then the corner roller and then I use the 2,5 inch angle head to wipe the corners:
Goes very well and smooth but sometimes the angle head seems to get stuck while wiping.
Notice that the mud is very thin?
      So what’s causing that?
Olso to finish the corners I wanted to order the 3.5 “ or is it better to order a wider anglehead?

It's so weaker than in first two thirds, that easier to load again. Is it normal for all mudrunners or something is wrong with my one? In your videos I don't see a such behavior in your device.
