Appreciate your format of providing thoughts on shot options for different skill levels. Looking forward to upcoming content.

      Awesome thank you!
The biggest difference between 8-ball and 9-ball (in my opinion) is in 8-ball you DO get to decide which ball to shoot next.
I spend a lot of time talking about decisions, and why -I- would do things a certain way. Always 100 ways to run it, but there’s a ton to learn by hearing/seeing other people’s choices and reasoning I believe!
Which is what I’m doing and what I promote from you guys to offer your 2 cents in the comments! And to just have fun and watch some amateur pool of course 😎

The billiard cloth looks “sticky” seeing how the balls roll

Ah its actually pretty new cloth and rolls very well in my opinion, but im no pro. Maybe my pal James can chime in!

It's so strange to watch lower skill levels play even tho we've all been there before! Seeing the correct pattern and the breakout shots, just to see their only concern be the ball they're shooting and simply "figuring out the rest" later 😂
I'm not sure if these are your teammates or not but I'd certainly suggest Shon change his break up. He's way too straight on and way too short on bridge length.

Hey that’s exactly my point here man! It’s hard to see the cue ball path and how powerful it is in the game. I’m trying to help with what little knowledge I have! 🫨🥴
I agree, it’s something I’lll mention for sure! Shon is on my team, btw

@@drewvonporte I think your approach to the game and perspective certainly changes over time. When you're a lower skill level and are used to playing lower skill levels, you don't usually see your opponent run out in one go (or even a couple) so I think you just see the game as knocking out a couple here and there and repeating until you get to the end. Cue ball positioning seems unplanned and out of your control and just up to luck 😂 I had to get beaten and/or shoot myself into a corner probably a thousand times before learning to plan a run (or most of one) right after the break, to control the cue ball, and to figure out that the "easiest" shot often isn't the best one.

@@procrastinator6902 💯!! Early game is a lot of fun. Love the little ephiphanies that make you see it differently. A metaphor on Life…. Maybe this channel needs a new direction into the metaphysical…

She's got a pretty good stance but terrible stroke... needs to learn to pause and she would be dangerous. He has a better stroke but needs to keep his head down through the stroke and he would be dangerous.. A little work on both of their fundamentals` and they would both improve.

Tell Morgan she is a great player. She just has not gotten there yet. If she would take her time and think about her shots she will get there. She should also watch your videos and try to understand the table.

@@drewvonporte I always like to watch your videos because you understand the table and how it is unfolding. In my league not one person understands why I am breaking up clusters while I am making shots. They also don’t believe in practicing. They just play games. I really enjoy your videos and I hope you continue to doing them. I love to see if we are thinking the same way as the game plays out.

Sounds like you are going through something that I am also going through though. Focusing on playing MY OWN GAME, and not worrying about who is the guy I’m making rack. Just focus on yourself, right??? 🫡 thank you!
