    I like the diagrams. I know you said once that they take a bit more time to produce but they do help me. Thanks for the video.

      I couldn’t agree more. It is your diagrams that make you so much different than other pool UA-camrs. I think the ONLY thing that would really put the channel over the top is to have a cue ball and show the tip position like some of the other channels do. This would allow us lower numbers to see “ok this tip position is what makes the balls take the track illustrated in the diagram”

    Now I feel dumb. I was commenting on Shon and Lisa’s match earlier tonight as “a higher ranked player” and didn’t know you’re a 7! LOL. Love these diagrams. They really help out knowing what the players are thinking or should be thinking. I think I can learn a lot from your commentary, too. Thanks for the videos!

      Dont! It’s all good here man.
      I’m glad the diagrams are worth it to someone 😅 they take hours to put together! I could crank out the edit, the scoreboard, commentary in no time. Its going back after that, to illustrate what I’m seeing in my head, that takes so bloody long to get these videos out.
      The cool thing about 8-ball, is there is always different ways to get through a rack. The diagrams are just how *I* see it. I’m always happy to hear other people’s thoughts!

    Nice shooting, little dramatic on the game three eight ball shot but your supposed to build the drama right? Good commentary

    • @drewvonporte
      @drewvonporte  10 місяців тому

      Trying to find the balance between “commentary” and “analysis”. Since it’s not live, analysis is more appropriate… I just find it can get a little boring?… so yeah, something like building drama a little bit.
      If you’ve played team cue sports, you know how dramatic every single shot can feel some nights! Thank you for the feedback!

    I couldn't have made it past the first miss without dropping a "no way Jose!"

    Is the break & run stat out of the total number of matches lifetime? for apa?

    • @drewvonporte
      @drewvonporte  8 місяців тому

      Yes, these are stats i can pull from the APA website. The division I’m in is fairly new, so any players with experience from other divisions, I can not see their stats from before. Sometimes I can ask them to share them with me, but I just decided to stop making the intro stats.
      Should I start adding it again? You’re the first one that has ever mentioned it!

    • @excxmoody
      @excxmoody 8 місяців тому

      @@drewvonporte For those who are new to league I think it's a great idea to include, give a bit of an idea. It's misleading though which led me to wonder if the B&R stats were this session only vs lifetime, especially with your defensive stat.

    • @drewvonporte
      @drewvonporte  8 місяців тому +1

      @@excxmoody man, i haven’t break n ran in league in forever… it’s unfortunate 💔 I would kill to have that many break and runs in 1 session, though I think I might be able to start getting close! I have gotten a lot better at breaking since this video alone! We’ll see!
      And good to know! I’m happy to re-include it in coming videos and mention “Lifetime Stats”!!

      @@drewvonporte Mind I ask, how long have you played x amount of hours essentially and do you only play 8 / 9 ball?

    • @drewvonporte
      @drewvonporte  8 місяців тому +1

      @@excxmoody oh man, i started playing league in 2009, played regularly until 2015. Picked it back up 1.5 years ago.
      I mainly play 8/9… but 1 pocket is my favorite. Just dont play it much!
