I appreciate the video and that he showed us the dollar total. I am a bus driver so I know how difficult passengers can be sometimes. To make that kind of money he had to put up with a lot of b.s. Good for him. I thought about doing Uber, still am, but wanted to see some actual numbers from a real person. This dude is real, no doubt about it. I wish him the best.
+William Mcdonald You don't need to wish anyone best. This guy got it made because he actually goes out and do it. You can do the same. I don't know you but one thing sure...you don't need to wish the best when you can do the same.
Like others have stated, total you see isn't reality and isn't every week, if so then show more than just one week. Surge is going away so that $1200 will be $600 now.

i am a uber driver too. and I am here to tell you .I driver in New York City. after uber take 25% + + .normally we make 180 dollars for 8 hours.(online time)(if go home time and Eating Lunch +Breakfirst time count its about 9:30-11hours) but after tax gas breakfast + lunch 10 dollars . we actually keep 100 in our pocket. So it is really not that much. but sometimes we make 150 just in 2 hour picky time . but its not always happen . So If you want to make 150 a day you have to make about 210 dollars per day . that is all .. its not that good to be a driver. i work between 6 am - 6pm (and sometimes you make 35 per hour-70 per hour tax not included) but its just sometime . you know not everyday
well, if you work all that hour and you make the only much, may be you know know how to get around. and stop taking all that time for breakfast and lunch, in a real job you only get one hour for lunch 30 min for breakfast so is you may be
I am an Uber driver and a former tax professional. One thing he doesn't mention is the fact that no taxes, social security or medicare are taken out of this amount. At the end of the year, he will receive a 1099 as an independent contractor. He is responsible for all the taxes on whatever he made. Based on this one week, if he is single and has no dependents he will owe approximately 124.00 in income tax and 95.00 in medicare and social security. Extrapolate for 52 weeks and it comes to 6448.00 in income taxes and 4940.00 in FICA for a total of 11,388.00. Hope he has made quarterly payments or the government may also add penalty and interest for underpayment of taxes. Add in California state tax and possibly San Francisco city tax and he may be in a world of hurt. Best advice: Consult your income tax professional.
+Tom Monti I agree, I worked independently for a year, (not for Uber, but laws are the same) and also have a background in tax laws and although it may seem like a decent living, and you can deduct the standard mileage or keep track of all the receipts yourself, but you can't do both. ie: mileage deduction and gas, maintenance, insurance etc. cost, and unless you exclusively use your car for Uber, you can only deduct the actual business miles etc. If it was such a great job, there would be far more people doing it. The Uber owners are the only ones getting rich, taking in money for work that others do. Just like any other job. I'd like to see them paying employee taxes like any other business with so many people working for them. It might look great at the end of the week, but you'd better be prepared at tax time or you're in a world of hurt. Don't be surprised to see the 1099 and 1099K in your mail come January/February.
+Tom Monti You're not deducting 57.5 cents per mile, car washes, a large percent of maintenance, etc. and depreciation. That should lower the tax liability appreciably.
I tried to keep this simple. Schedule C allows for a tremendous number of deductions. But, one must have documention for all of them, I have formed an LLC
You need to learn how to talk. I have no idea why you're even allowed you need to learn how to talk. How is not everyone just annoyed by your speaking?
Uber is awesome regardless off the expenses. Making 1200 bucks a week and not to answer to a boss is regal baby. Get a extended warranty on a reliable vehicle and keep up with maintenance. It's all about perspective. I can't think of many jobs where you have the opportunity to make 1200/a week on your own time.
i drive for uber black in north hollywood area i make around the same you do i drive from tuesday to saturday a day i drive about 7 hours. i love your honesty and is fun job.
nothing wrong with that honestly lol. Gotta do what works you know, im 24 and seriously nobody wants to work in a warehouse or factory or be a cashier for the rest of their lives lol. We want shit that works for this economy. $$$ get's shit done. Don't care what other people think of what I do lol.
like i said, "shit that works for THIS economy" When self driving cars become a thing that 60% of U.S citizens are using daily, then the economy will change and the need to adapt to that new economy will begin. Until then, this is a fine oportunity for people young and old, to make a better living and get out of a dumb factory/warehouse job. Or get out of a dish room or get out from behind a cash register.
1,240.17 - GAS - Ca tax - Fed tax - Car depreciation - Maintenance - 20% Uber fee I think this is better than sitting in the couch and getting food stamp. keep it going drive safe bro!
Dude, I believe you cos I have friends doing this and they make great money. I have a friend who quitted his job and does Uber 50 hrs a week and makes around $12-1500 weekly. He has a schedule and works during surge hours. Best of luck to you!
he's probably keeping $450-500 bucks at the end of the week.after gas, depreciation, wear and tear, fuel, insurance basic expenses. We haven't even mentioned if his vehicle breaks down or develops ab engine or tranny problem or other expensive repairs begin to take place, nor accounted for.
leave this guy alone. he took the time to be informative. it seems like anytime I look at comments on ANY video there are always hateful comments. why does everyone gotta be negative? I couldn't have done a better video.
If Canal is making that much money per week, you subtract about $1,400.00 per month for: Gas, taxes, maintenance, mileage, insurance, etc, and Mr. Canal is making a damn good living. Could easily afford a new car every 3 years with that kind of income.
Uber drivers can barely pay their rent, let alone buying a new car every three years. There is nothing easy about making money with Uber. Uber takes it all and leaves drivers broke. If Uber drivers suddenly made $50000 per year this month, Uber would raise its commission to 40, 50, 60 percent or higher until all the profits went to Uber and all that was left over for drivers was just enough to keep driving.
Good for you guy, even though you may not be good at making videos but putting upfront honest information about your own experience as a Uber driver is going to be helpful to others interested in being a Uber driver. Keep it up,make your money, and I hope your American dream comes true.Stay safe out there!
Yeah...45 hours..1200$ a week... minus 120$ for Gasoline, minus HIGHWAY TOLL FEES, minus 30% for taxes at the end of the year...minus 100$ for Car washes and minor repairs.....so you're really left with about 400 to 500 for that 1200 you made.....The only way to clear 1200 after expenses is to drive for atleast 60 hours and trade in your car for a HYBRID....that is the only way....Oh and I LOVE HIS ACCENT....Hilarious!
Alot of wrong info here. First off, taxes vary from state to state. In mine its about 21%. Depending on the car you choose gas can be alot or a little. but for me its(11/27/16 , 1 gallon $2.09) 80-100/week (4 cylinder Camry). Car washes (I have a monthly $25 membership for unlimited car washes). Oh btw unless you live in a shitty state you can write off the majority of these things and get those back once tax season rolls around.
Ur just a whining hating fool. It takes $3 dollars to wash the car urself, 3x in a week that's $9. Highway toll fees? Lol I haven't paid a single one driving for uber. Car repairs every week? Is that something you do? You must drive like an a$$. He is taking home around $900 every week and that's being conservative. Also, everyone pays taxes, not just uber drivers. Don't comment on things u know absolutely nothing about.
He is not mentioning that he pays for the gas, the insurance, monthly car payment, car maintenance (tires, repairs, including cleaning up after passengers) no paid sick days, no medical, etc. NONE of these MINOR expenses were mentioned!
ummmm. no offense but the title says how much he makes driving for uber. NOT how much he makes after paying all of his bills while driving for uber lol. Just take the job man and have faith.
What about car expenses and maintenance (fuel, tyres, engine oil.. etc)? Taxes? The money you showed was not 100% profit. Your profit will be significantly lower than the number you showed when you factor in all these aspects..
If you are able to start an escrow account like most truckers do for fuel, and repairs, and maintenance, and make weekly deposits into it for the first month or 2, then you can get ahead of the curve so to speak, and your expenses balance out over time, where you can deposit every other week, instead of every week.............Plus you can itemize your taxes and get some of that back.......
Albert Escamilla I think YOU need to learn the difference between profit and revenue. He showed the total income before factoring in all the expenses (revenue). When you factor all the expenses you get gross profit. Also learn how to spell.
No you are not taking all of the profits LOL, keep dreaming, without UBER you wouldn't have/maybe made the money you would, UBER doesn't run as a company for free they have to pay for their shit to provide you with a job dumbass, think next time why don't you?
The ripoff of Uber is in the driver's dumbness. It costs MINIMUM 35-40 cents a mile in NON GASOLINE maintenance, insurance, registration, depreciation and wear and tear. Only when those costs are ignored does the Uber driver THINK he is making $10/ hour when in reality he is making $5 when those cost hit him later.
+classicjukebox he has no idea, he just thinks that the money he made is net, his car is gas-less, maintenance-free and he doesn't pay any tolls, and uber loves having clueless drivers.
Pardeep Singh You can write all of that off on your taxes. He's making over $62,000 a year. Even if 20% goes to overhead, he's still making damn good money.
Mackenzie Brunson if u r not gud in maths then see again that’s a gross income excluding the taxes , insurance, car depreciation and tax and if u calculate after all expenses he is making only 800 dollars net income into his account that’s what m telling coz I used to be an uber driver , now got a full time job and I get around $ 1000 a week doing only 40 hours a week.
And he is lying about working only 45 hours a month.. no way you can make 12.000 a week working 9 hours, here in Miami drivers work 12 to 14 hours daily to make that money
I have been reading the comments. I am new to Uber. I did my first fares last night. The earnings he showed already has the deductions. Every fare has the percentage taken and what you earn is the net.
It's all good and well when you calculate the total earnings.. but then think about fuel and vehicle maintenance? If you drive your vehicle that much its going to need extra care - which is why taxi's cost more. And an accident... how are they covered? does uber pay liability insurance or do you? or are people just not covered at all when they jump in your vehicle?
The earnings section in the app is a total after ubers deductions. I average about $1200 a week but net in about $950 that is because I mainly focus on airport runs. Hang out at the hotels take to the airport then hang out at the airport to take to the hotels. These routs are not, long distance but they do pay good because where I live airport fairs are double and the business is very good. Also I only work a average 30 hours a week I work Monday Friday Saturday and Sunday all the busy days at the airport.
Mohammed (from the comment section), no, you did not calcuate correctly. You left off the one ecpense most rideshare drivers left off---the fact that your car is wearing out because it is being driven so much, and in stop-and-go city traffic. Most cars used as taxis last two years (730 days). If you paid $10,000 for your car, that is $13.70 a day, or $95.90 a week. Travis Kalinick knows that most of his drivers will overlook this factor. That is why he can hire thousands of drivers all over the world who think they are making good money where in fact they are not
It depends on the age of the car, and what kind of car it is. Performing routine maintenance religiously should keep things in good shape. Most NYC taxis don't get the routine maintenance the need, responsibility is up to driver in most cases.
Its called depreciation of an asset under tax law. Same way a law firm writes off its photocopier. I like to look at my ubering as running and paying expenses for my sweet car. Not really making money, and I'm really good at tax law now too, thanks to uber!
I use Uber and Lyft whenever I travel. There's an opportunity for drivers to up-sell other stuff to passengers... and I'm surprised I've never seen anyone do that. Just a few things drivers could sell and charge a premium on: 1. Bottled Water 2. City Guides/Maps 3. Phone Chargers 4. Essential Kits (toothpaste, toothbrush etc) This would work especially well for drivers picking up people from the airport.
this people want to make 2000 dollars a week having no diploma and still don't wanna pay in maintenance of the vehicle like wtf I swear people are do mother fucking dumd...
wtf you talking about? How you know Uber Drivers don't have a diploma? There shouldn't be restrictions on how much someone could make. Why wouldn't you want to see people succeed and be happy for them unless you're a shitty person? Diploma or not people need to feed their families and pay their bills. The more money someone can make the better. We put up with a lot of bs. We lose almost half of what we make with uber taking their cut, gas, maintenance. And put up with disrespectful assholes. Who are you to decide how much money someone deserves for their job? Please tell me.
+rhymegarden read first I'm an uber driver stupid fuck in NYC.. BRICK CITY. THE JUNGLE. I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE IDIOT TALKING ABOUT THE MAINTENANCE OF THE CAR AND THE HIGH MILEAGE WHO CARES ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU MAKE 2000 BUCKS A WEEK
I don't use my car for anything other than uber and maybe going shopping. I walk to class and to meet up with friends (I live in a decent size college town) I have noticed that I put much less miles on my car than average person who drives their car to do everything in their life. In 1 year I only put about 8,000 miles on my car working uber 30+ hours a week.
I would like to know from which city his driven, each ride is over 100 dollars, his putting a lot of miles in his car. I think Uber is to cheap, way to much cheap. Good for them, Not worth it for the drivers. In the city I live, its sucks, no request at all.
Michael Smith It's going pretty good. I almost made $1,ooo in one week. But I also do hair so I mostly drive when not in the salon. I got my airport placards recently so things should pick up.
Unless you do not have life, and you are living in a car, (or kind of message is behind this video?!) Man, the real money comes to people who accomplished 2 or 4 years in college or university. I personally tried both taxi and uber, I would confirm that both are "shitty" jobs. Anyway, Good luck!
Sil Bombardi College Grad here. Worked for a top Finance company. I was considered a top employee on his way up the chain. 6 years in was part of major layoffs company wide where they shipped our jobs to India. I made 60k salary annually. I sat at my cubicle from 8am to 7pm, lunch, if lucky, was half an hour. I also drove 45 miles each way to work. I drive Uber. Even after gas, and setting aside my taxes, I make the same as I did in my corporate gig. Sometimes more. I have not had a single week yet where I worked as much as I did in corporate life. Plus, I meet cool people. My network has grown so much by meeting so many people. Ive even been offered corporate gigs once passengers speak to me and see my knowledge of global markets and securities etc. Hard pass. I would rather sit in my car and drive then sit in a cubicle and die. Plus in my downtime I usually am on my tablet making money in other ways. I can only imagine the mess id be in if I was caught on my tablet at work. People can knock Uber all they want, but they are probably the same people I once was like. Angry, bitter, mad, and finding any reason why it cant be done because society told me I belonged in a cubicle. F that. I work less and make more after expenses. Car depreciation? So what. Its going to depreciate anyway sooner or later. Id rather get paid for it and do my own thing.
This is wrong mate, that's gross total Uber will take %20 of that and once you've added up how much petrol you've spent on and car maintenance I'm sure it be under $900
Uber now deducts their cut before yo get your totals so what you see that he showed is after Uber has taken their cut. I make very similar to the totals he showed 1100-1300/week abot 40-45 hours. Its about $80-100/week gas. I have a 2013 4 cylinder Camry. Since this is considered self employment most of the things like gas, maintenance, car washes, car payments, insurance payments, etc are tax deductible depending on where you live. There alot of negative people out there that want to make it seem like good money cant be made because they say youre not factoring every little detail. But if you have a job (for example) thats paying $25/hr how often do you factor time lost during your commute, gas, car payments, etc???? Regardless its better than minimum wage and you are your own boss.
Why do people factor in "wear and tear" into the overall income when driving for Uber. ALL cars wear and tear over time, the question is how fast. Yes, you will need to change oil more frequently. So what? If you drive to work on a daily basis and sit thru traffic during computing hours you are also putting wear and tear into your ride. Of course not at the same rate, but vehicles require maintenance and upkeep where or not you do Uber. If anything, if you ARENT doing Uber you are losing MORE. You are paying on a car that does nothing but deprecate in value while you continue to pay for it and it is earning you zero cash. If fact, there is no foolish purchase financially speaking than buying a car with a no. over several years. At least while you are doing Uber, it balances out a bit.
+Khalid Abdullah Well said, 90% of the comments jump on the negative aspects of Uber driving. Sure Uber is a corporation that wants to rape and pillidge its workforce. what corporation doesn't? I bet every one of you people are underpaid in the job you are doing. There are many positives as well. pick when you work part-time or full. Turn your car into a break even mobile as uber pays for it. it costs you time which some of us have too much of. And for the most part the riders are nice and friendly. I don't even drive on the busiest times and clear 300 each week after my regular full time job. an extra 1200 each month goes a long way since my car payments and insurance are only 350.
If you drove full time for Uber your maintenance costs would be higher and your mileage would plummet the value of your car on the used market. You're not seeing the costs as clearly because you don't drive full-time. If Uber was so great you could quit your primary job but deep down you know that Uber doesn't pay anything other than survival...not even that sometimes.

Snow Monkey Yeah, no shit. Uber is not meant to be done full time in my opinion. Choosing to do so is an occupational preference. Its an income Subsidy for me. But my point was that the depreciation of the vehicle is going to happen with or without the help of your rideshare business. So, you might as well make some money back from that. By time you sell your car you wont get half of that back IN ANY CASE Uber or no Uber. When you factor in interest paid, you wont get a quarter of that back. Also, you get what you put in. IF you want more back from your car, then maintain it better. When you sell your car, That rule doesnt change because you might not drive it as often. You may have to maintain it less, but not really if you were to abide by the dealers specifications.
I agree with you that working a few of the busiest hours if you already have the car and a reason to need it otherwise is the only sensible use of the Uber platform. But your gross income needs to be at least $20-25 hour to justify the wear and tear and your time. Those extra miles do make your car more of a liability maintenance-wise and virtually worthless at resale or trade-in. A comparable example is how some cabdrivers will lease their cab for the full 24 hour weekly, paying an extra $30-$40 per day over a 12-hour lease, claiming the are "saving" money because they avoid the costs of having a personal car. But, $900-$1200 a month can lease 7 series BMW and have money left over for gas and insurance, plus they would work less. Just like Uber promotes, they've got "flexibility" to work when they want but the reality is the same for full-time Uber drivers: they work all the time and don't take home minimum wage after expenses. Good luck to you. Keep Uber as secondary "found" income and it can work for you. Uber produces nothing much more than beer money IMHO.
thinking about doin it what hours of day or night do u drive and how many hours roughly do u spend driving a day. . between gas and taxes still seems pretty good I used to deliver pizzas at 40 hours a week n still didn't come close to that in income. even making 500 a week is decent kudos to u sir on your earnings and all the haters are usually just lazy jealous a$$holio pendahoes lol
I wish you the best... Also take in consideration, car maintenance, summons, insurance, registration, repairs, wear and tear.... And Good luck dealing with A-holes.
You are NOT going to make that kind of money driving for Uber or Lyft. You just aren't. Not in your town. And let me tell you. 45 hours of driving in 5 days is no picnic either. Good luck keeping that up week after week in congested traffic, lousy drivers, lousy signs, lousy roads and bad weather. You're never going to do it. Forget about it. And no, I don't drive a taxi.
I was on a yacht off Miami Beach - I thought I saw you on that raft that was capsizing. Surprised to see you made it - sorry we couldn't stop and help.
John barfneck: My first day driving/sitting and I've been sitting here for over 8 hours online with NO calls. I tested the system (from my ride account) by requesting a ride from where I'm sitting and it searches for a minute and then tells me to try later as there are no cars available? Did this 3 times and same thing. Strong cell signal and ZERO help from so-called tech support.
John barfneck: That's not the problem. Uber system doesn't recognize my car being online. I request a ride from my rider account and it says there are no cars available even though I'm sitting right here.
If you find yourself sitting and getting now calls, log out and log back into Uber. If that doesn't help, reboot your phone. If that doesn't work, delete your uber app and reinstall it and see if that works.
All about balance guys, definitely some great money out there driving high demand times like bar closings, events and concerts and more. Master your city's demand trends and know the roads. Check out my channel for more driver tips!
will be hitting the road for the first time tomorrow. drove a cab for 8 years so not nervous about picking passengers( picked roughly 20,000) in my career. however, I AM nervous about NOT making money. cant hustle for flags like in cabs. know the hot spots and the whole 9 yards, but not sure how it will end up.
Gotta love this dudes accent
that accent says GAY all over it

Very.

I drove for Uber for 5-6 weeks. My first night I made $481. There was a Taylor Swift concert at the Georgia Dome and I hit Buckhead after that. Granted I gave up my Saturday night ...... but I paid my car payment, insurance AND gas for 2 weeks .... off that one night.
Calvin and Hobbes so may I ask why did you stop driving? just curious :)

It might look great at the end of the week, but you'd better be prepared at tax time or you're in a world of hurt. Don't be surprised to see the 1099 and 1099K in your mail come January/February.
+Trace Feige while that's true, this looks fairly decent as a second job or part time. definitely better than some minimum wage job that pays $7/hr
My first week I earned 600.24 in a city of 100,000
Dude you are an inspiration! "CALCULATING, ITS CALCULATING, CALCULATING!"
"I don't know what city you drive in. You can make more, same or less" :D lol. That is a solid answer. lol
What a scam, you are working for the company you just put in your reply and getting paid, for putting such comments.
I can't think of many jobs where you have the opportunity to make 1200/a week on your own time.
i drive for uber black in north hollywood area i make around the same you do i drive from tuesday to saturday a day i drive about 7 hours. i love your honesty and is fun job.
kids nowadays will be like...
*When I grow up I want to be an Uber driver* !
nothing wrong with that honestly lol. Gotta do what works you know, im 24 and seriously nobody wants to work in a warehouse or factory or be a cashier for the rest of their lives lol.
We want shit that works for this economy.
$$$ get's shit done. Don't care what other people think of what I do lol.
more like... I want to be a driverless uber car manufacturer.
sessy33 well said
Well this isn't going to last forever, once self driving cars become proven, the whole cab and uber industry won't be needed anymore
like i said, "shit that works for THIS economy"
When self driving cars become a thing that 60% of U.S citizens are using daily, then the economy will change and the need to adapt to that new economy will begin. Until then, this is a fine oportunity for people young and old, to make a better living and get out of a dumb factory/warehouse job. Or get out of a dish room or get out from behind a cash register.

Dude, I believe you cos I have friends doing this and they make great money. I have a friend who quitted his job and does Uber 50 hrs a week and makes around $12-1500 weekly. He has a schedule and works during surge hours. Best of luck to you!
Excuse me . Where do your friends work?
Bay Area, mostly in the San Francisco areas.
Great job Canal!! Sorry for the negative comments it looks like some people are jealous!! I hear great things about Uber!!
Hi Bud B thank you so much your comment !!!
His accent is dope. Brazilian I imagine.
yea Brazilian i think

You're the man . Honesty is what appreciate.

You have got to be kidding.
+junkrat1 If you go to a foreign country you will
+August Riley You sir, are a royal arse.
I wonder how much an Uber Driver makes in the Philippines. I want to move there.
Driving in NYC is horrible now... Last year was on average $25-$30 an hour now it's less than half of that on average because it got sooooo crowded.
Great video, amigo! Thank you very much! Very helpfull!
Thank you too Oreo
monday , tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and friday thats alot of hours! LOL keep up the good work buddy! apwreciate the information dude!
people like him are great, he's what a youtuber should be like, he doesn't demand subs or likes, he just appreciates them.
Why people complaining about taxes? Paying taxes when you make 1200 for 5 days will still leave you with enough money to make a living
not in San Francisco lmao
Marcos V. Silveira 1200 € in 5 days would be A LOT.
yea 1240 a week in san francisco is pretty terrible
he's probably keeping $450-500 bucks at the end of the week.after gas, depreciation, wear and tear, fuel, insurance basic expenses. We haven't even mentioned if his vehicle breaks down or develops ab engine or tranny problem or other expensive repairs begin to take place, nor accounted for.
I like the guy, he did a great job with the video.
I got him as an Uber once!
+Monchies Palafox lol thank you so much !
+CANAL BRASUSA canal basura?
leave this guy alone. he took the time to be informative. it seems like anytime I look at comments on ANY video there are always hateful comments. why does everyone gotta be negative? I couldn't have done a better video.
What's wrong with the people who dislike this video. He's a great guy giving privileged information. ... Thanks man.
Canal i think is either portuguese or spanish for channel
Hahahahahaha!!! I love your voice/accent!!
+Platinum Rose lol thank youuu
1200 a week is better than most jobs
I do that and serve so alot of bread coming in
Good for you guy, even though you may not be good at making videos but putting upfront honest information about your own experience as a Uber driver is going to be helpful to others interested in being a Uber driver. Keep it up,make your money, and I hope your American dream comes true.Stay safe out there!
He says that he is not good at making videos but he did it anyways. Asked to click on subscribe button too. He exactly knows what he is doing.
Don't comment on things u know absolutely nothing about.
lol
I agree.... especially if your renting the vehicle that is another $350 - $400 plus the taxes on the $1200.
In Dallas I worked 12 hours and only made 65 dollars total.
paid 40 dollars in gas
taxes...
worked as cheap as penny's on a dollar per hour...
wow
awww sorry bro ! In SF is too much better for now
Here in Miami same shit
everyone has a car in dallas
He is not mentioning that he pays for the gas, the insurance, monthly car payment, car maintenance (tires, repairs, including cleaning up after passengers) no paid sick days, no medical, etc. NONE of these MINOR expenses were mentioned!
Kitcat Meeow no his car runs on water captain ovi
He is on his own schedule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have a Great family income car can be fixed!! This is write off.
ummmm. no offense but the title says how much he makes driving for uber. NOT how much he makes after paying all of his bills while driving for uber lol. Just take the job man and have faith.
And your car, gas, insurance, etc. Is free? Wow you should drive uber 😂
you're awesome, man! I think uber takes advantage of you guys, but still, you're awesome!! Rock On Brother
Thank for your positive comment brother !
That is profit. Leard the difference between profit and revenue.
Albert Escamilla I think YOU need to learn the difference between profit and revenue. He showed the total income before factoring in all the expenses (revenue). When you factor all the expenses you get gross profit. Also learn how to spell.
you gotta pay that stuff anyway with a regular job so what is your point?
see the money shown above is net because uber cuts a portion of it and they already got it.
If I drive my own car and take all the risk. I'm taking all the profits!
No you are not taking all of the profits LOL, keep dreaming, without UBER you wouldn't have/maybe made the money you would, UBER doesn't run as a company for free they have to pay for their shit to provide you with a job dumbass, think next time why don't you?
You do you!
Reggie Love 'You do you!' what do you mean I do me? haha you still make no sense.
"you do you" as in do your own thing, to each their own ect. dumbasses l3l
well done... thats your hard earnt money...

+classicjukebox You are wrong!!!!
CANAL BRASUSA where am I wrong? Tell me exactly.
+classicjukebox
You would spend $80,000 on non gas expenses to do 200,000 miles.
That's insane and simply doesn't happen.
Caleb Smith I have to recalculate. You are right.
+classicjukebox he has no idea, he just thinks that the money he made is net, his car is gas-less, maintenance-free and he doesn't pay any tolls, and uber loves having clueless drivers.
You have the most adorable accent! You seem like such a sweet soul...thanks for sharing your Uber experience with us! :)
Great video my friend! I hit the magic button and left a like too
Seems like a good guy
how many expenses u r goin to put into this income
1. petrol.
2.insurance.
3. car deprivation.
4. tax.
tell this one as well buddy to Audience.
YOU STOP DRIVING IMMEDIATELY IF YOU DO THE MAT LOL
"ima nota gooda at meekin da video. buta llooka righta here i meka lotta doll hairs drivin for the uber"
You said you weren't good at videos. And then you post this good video!
I have been reading the comments. I am new to Uber. I did my first fares last night. The earnings he showed already has the deductions. Every fare has the percentage taken and what you earn is the net.
Yes ! You are smart !!!
Rebecca Dish here in Miami 99 % of the drivers are uncovered , uber is a scam only losers like this guy think working for uber is worth it
@@unknowndriver6652 sounds like someone got his account disabled because of bad ratings 😂
@@tagacebu2 not me..
You are fantastic. I love the American flag pinned to your headliner in your car. Good video, thank you.
Thank you too Kevin !
He is funny, but at least he makes the attempt to be direct.
Thanks for your uber experience and I can tell you are honest driver and good.
+Professional Car service of NYC Thank you much !
+CANAL BRASUSA you are very welcome. god bless you
This guy cracks me up!
I wanna be in his cab I don't wanna go anywhere I just wanna listen to him
lol
This is not what you make, your fuel, insurance and car maintanance goes off of it, I am not even asking if you pay taxes
+Don Merimon Airport runs seems like the way to go! This would be a perfect part time job. Airport rides are limitless!
Wery niiice. Veury excite.
Thanks for the honest video! Very informative!
I use Uber and Lyft whenever I travel. There's an opportunity for drivers to up-sell other stuff to passengers... and I'm surprised I've never seen anyone do that.
Just a few things drivers could sell and charge a premium on:
1. Bottled Water
2. City Guides/Maps
3. Phone Chargers
4. Essential Kits (toothpaste, toothbrush etc)
This would work especially well for drivers picking up people from the airport.
ITS A VERY GOO IDEIA JOSH !!! I WILL TRY IT NEXT WEEK AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW !
Awesome Canal. Would love to hear how it goes.
1200??? I'm about to move damn. I live in Orlando and make 400 for 30 hours...
this people want to make 2000 dollars a week having no diploma and still don't wanna pay in maintenance of the vehicle like wtf I swear people are do mother fucking dumd...
wtf you talking about?
+bazuka0199 smith
Hey big bonus... You CAN drink and drive!!! no one cares!!! Whoop whoop sure helps when you pick up drunk people!!!
wow
Better to do a dishwasher, with all my respect to dishwashers.
"do a dishwasher"?
dishwashers make sense!
yeah I'd rather do a dishwasher all day too. go to sleep with a clean weiner
Sounds like your jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's not bad - approx. $28 per hour just driving folks around...
Joshua Bowman I bet you're great at parties....
+Rodney Thomas If you drive a prius your gunna have a good time
youbuttface7 cool
+3mjay Health can you describe your experience with uber?
+Joshua Bowman and what cabbie do you know makes 28 dollars an hour ......none
I don't use my car for anything other than uber and maybe going shopping. I walk to class and to meet up with friends (I live in a decent size college town) I have noticed that I put much less miles on my car than average person who drives their car to do everything in their life. In 1 year I only put about 8,000 miles on my car working uber 30+ hours a week.
Thank you so much for the info. I just found out my wife and I are having triplets. This would help tremendously.
Thank you 2 good luck!
They take most of that you only get about $10 an hour
I would like to know from which city his driven,
each ride is over 100 dollars, his putting a lot of miles in
his car.
I think Uber is to cheap, way to much cheap. Good for them,
Not worth it for the drivers.
In the city I live, its sucks, no request at all.
Those are his daily totals not each trip.
Marcin Kaczmarek
Oh I see.. Ok thank you!
Celeste Figueroa Hi celeste how are you doing? Do you live in Texas?
You are giving me hope! Starting tomorrow....
Bychance37 how is it going so far?
Michael Smith It's going pretty good. I almost made $1,ooo in one week. But I also do hair so I mostly drive when not in the salon. I got my airport placards recently so things should pick up.
making that money...you go girl :)
but how much does uber collect, and how much do you spend on gas and maintenance, how do you file for taxes also.
Very informative, thx buddy! I start driving tonight! yay
+Tommy Pritt Good luck !

Unless you do not have life, and you are living in a car, (or kind of message is behind this video?!) Man, the real money comes to people who accomplished 2 or 4 years in college or university. I personally tried both taxi and uber, I would confirm that both are "shitty" jobs. Anyway, Good luck!
real student loans and debt*
+Sil Bombardi Is working for me so good luck to u too
Sil Bombardi College Grad here.
The thing is...driving for Uber gets pretty old. Fast.
This is wrong mate, that's gross total Uber will take %20 of that and once you've added up how much petrol you've spent on and car maintenance I'm sure it be under $900
Drake King its still good
Uber now deducts their cut before yo get your totals so what you see that he showed is after Uber has taken their cut.
I like how no one is talking about the actual earnings and just discussing the greatness of this charismatic man
Wow! This is an excellent job!!!

Snow Monkey
Yeah, no shit.
Uber produces nothing much more than beer money IMHO.
thinking about doin it what hours of day or night do u drive and how many hours roughly do u spend driving a day. . between gas and taxes still seems pretty good I used to deliver pizzas at 40 hours a week n still didn't come close to that in income. even making 500 a week is decent kudos to u sir on your earnings and all the haters are usually just lazy jealous a$$holio pendahoes lol
lol thanks for your nice comment Justin ...
Agreed
Thats good man i'm a truck driver i rather quit and drive uber how many hours did you drive ? where are you from? like location

On average 26.66 dollars an hour
AlejandroGhettoWorld what kind of math you using? $1240.17/45hrs=$27.55/hr
Patrick Scott my nigga a dollar difference?? Stfu
every dolla counts man
Would you say the same thing if your boss took a dollar per hour off your pay?
Patrick Scott I'm glad you got rid of that 666 calculation....
I love your flag on the roof of your car.
Hey...thank you...happy 4th july !

love your video sent to all my friends. fantastic!
Hi Katie...thank you ! ...
made $23 in one hour. uber is good. the riders I've come in contact with are wonderful so far.
Tips?
No tps !
How many hours did you drive and what city? In my city, average pay is $6-10 per hour BEFORE expenses.
If you find yourself sitting and getting now calls, log out and log back into Uber. If that doesn't help, reboot your phone. If that doesn't work, delete your uber app and reinstall it and see if that works.
Borat? is that you?
Yes ! Thats me!
