Thank you so much Susanne, I really really enjoyed watching you creating all those print’s on the Gelli Plate. The print’s are absolutely amazing and beautiful too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Wow! So pretty!!! i am just about to get into this medium.. It just looks so fun and so many different things to try! I am a little daunted.. I think though this video just gives me the right idea of something to try.. Time to start small and work my way up I think.. Thanks so much for sharing this video and this technique!!
yes, this opens a lot of possibilities too... it's just like using alcohol inks on the plate, but now in the form of an ink... and with a stamp of course.
I am so glad that I discovered your channel. You prints are terrific. I love the colors you use and the images. Thank you for the education and inspiration.
Very very nice. I prefer the black ink it stands out better. I am lucky because I ordered already the two pencil marks. Now I only need the beautiful sap green from Schmincke. It goes wonderful with your stamps🌸❤️
Beautiful work ! Just learn this art from you .Can u tell me what butterflies stamps r called and where to buy ? AMAZON perhaps And finally what sort of paper u r using for printing ?Thanks
The deep green used is beautiful! And realistic! What paint and color is that? In another video you said it was Sap Green but I am unsure of the brand name. Thank you for posting your videos. I love your style of artwork!
You said you used " stazon " ink because it drys quickly...I haven't many colours in that...could I use " Versafine Claire " as long as I ensure it is dry before adding the paint ? I love your ideas...using the gel plate is all quite new to me but I am watching lots of tutorials...I hope you don't mind me saying but I feel if your colours were blended together more it would give a softer overall look...brilliant 👏........ 👏 thank you 😊
Could you please tell me where to purchase the supplies to make these projects? I absolutely love this and this is my first time seeing anything like this. Please let me know. Thank you!
Hi. I am from Germany, so I believe Links will not help you. I am using a gel printing plate (called Gelli Plate or Gel Press) together with Acrylic Paints (mainly Amsterdam and Schmincke - but that's not important at all). You will find those supplies in art supply stores or in craft stores. I recommend searching online maybe. I hope this helps. Best regards.
I am enjoying your videos and would like to know what brand of brayers you are using and the link to the Amsterdam transparent paint. Thank you for sharing your techniques.
I am using a brayer from a brand called ABIG. I am buying my stuff from germany, so I believe a link will not help you. Search for Amsterdam Acrylics. I also use paints from Schmincke.
Great technique! Staz-on would have scared me! 😨 You used an acrylic paint on the first bee/moth pull that was brownish gold or bronze, could you share the color and manufacturer of that paint? It's a beautiful color. 😃
I just want to be clear, you used Stazon , the solvent based ink to do these? I'm surprised that it would lift. Also, I like your roll off paper as much as your prints!
It's just more unpredictable. But I said this in the video. I love the more grungy und imperfect look of it. It's just more natural than stamping afterwards.
Have you ever tried this technique on a regular textured floor tile? I know this sounds random, but I have a lot of them hanging around and no gelli plate. ❤️
I bought mine in an online art supply store. But I am from Germany. I recommend you search for Gelli Plate on Google or Amazon. I am sure you will find it.
Hey everyone, any suggestions on inks to use with stamps? I tried water based and it just smears....I used a dye based and it stayed on the plate and didn’t show up on the print
I am using permanent ink such as Archival or StazOn. If the inks don't come of the plate you maybe use too much paint. Use just a thin layer. Water-soluble inks don't work really good.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Seems others don't have that issue, sometimes its caused by a bad internet connection. Maybe you try it again later. Have a lovely weekend.
Thank you so much Susanne, I really really enjoyed watching you creating all those print’s on the Gelli Plate. The print’s are absolutely amazing and beautiful too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags

Yes! Get one. It's so worth it and so much fun!

@@EKsunny-d3u drop the mic!!! You can use alcohol inks in the gelli plate?! Wow!
@@artfulstampinwithruth yes you can... some colors will stain the plate though.. especially yellow.

Happy you like it!🥰🥰 Stamps are sll my designs available at rubberdance.com I usually use copy paper 120gsm to 200gsm for printing.

Thank you for posting your videos. I love your style of artwork!
I would like to know as well. Sorry to jump on your post! 🤗
Yes it's the Sap Green from Schmincke Academy (their student line)
You said you used " stazon " ink because it drys quickly...I haven't many colours in that...could I use " Versafine Claire " as long as I ensure it is dry before adding the paint ?
I love your ideas...using the gel plate is all quite new to me but I am watching lots of tutorials...I hope you don't mind me saying but I feel if your colours were blended together more it would give a softer overall look...brilliant 👏........ 👏 thank you 😊
I believe you could use that. Just try it! I have no idea how long it needs to dry.
I’m in love with that kind of peachy, skin color almost, that you used in your second print!!! What is it??
I'd guess it's a color called portrait pink
Yes, I believe that was the Portrait Pink from Liquitex Basics
Could you please tell me where to purchase the supplies to make these projects? I absolutely love this and this is my first time seeing anything like this. Please let me know. Thank you!

It's the Burnt Sienna from Amsterdam I believe. It's so amazing!
I just want to be clear, you used Stazon , the solvent based ink to do these? I'm surprised that it would lift. Also, I like your roll off paper as much as your prints!
Yes, I used StazOn. The roll offs are really surprising sometimes.
Rad!! TFS…!
You are welcome!
So far I personally like stamping on the dried ink or the dried paint...it makes the stamp bolder.. but I got to try this for myself
Hi Rosanne, I really love the colors you used! Can you remember what the name of the green color is ? The one you used at 7.40?
It's Sap Green from Schmincke Academy. Thank you so much!
Other than reversing the image, is the result different than if you had stamped directly on a gelli print?
It's just more unpredictable. But I said this in the video. I love the more grungy und imperfect look of it. It's just more natural than stamping afterwards.
@@SusanneRose that makes total sense! Unpredictability can have some wonderful results!
Interesting vídeo 😘😘😘
Thank you so much!
I love the green you've used, what is it?
It's the Sap Green from Schmincke Academy. It's such an amazing color!
I wonder if archival ink would work
What ink are you using with the stamps?
Its StazOn Ink
Have you ever tried this technique on a regular textured floor tile? I know this sounds random, but I have a lot of them hanging around and no gelli plate. ❤️
I would try it if I had some. What could it hurt
Where do you buy a gelli plate?
I bought mine in an online art supply store. But I am from Germany. I recommend you search for Gelli Plate on Google or Amazon. I am sure you will find it.
