hello! I am the "she" who asked the question about big buildings a while ago! thank you very much for this video! there are some precious advice! i do tend to focus on details before drawing the big lines so I end up not being able to draw the whole building in one page. again thanks a lot! :)
I always love to see the fresh color palette you choose for each painting. It's always changing, which is nice😊
BIG lesson on simplicity - start with the big picture then flow into detail later. I've bookmarked this video for future reference as this is my weakness - not getting the overall picture/perspective first before diving into detail. Thanks Tech!

+Larry Gossett I do mostly pen, ink and watercolour sketches and leave them as that. They are easier to store for me.
Thanks! I was always too absorbed in the detail and trying hard to draw straight lines for buildings that I forget about the whole picture in general.

I have been following your posts for a long time, and they are the ones I go to for pens, sketchbooks, etc. I was looking at the comments here, and the one where you said you don’t sale your work caught my attention. I have painted for a long time now, and people are always surprised when I say I don’t sale my work-it’s something I do for personal pleasure, which people seem to have a hard time understanding.
