Thank you..thank you..thank you for posting this video! You and your grandfather are geniuses my friend! Found a old Honda with a bent shaft and your (most logical) superb for the average Joe video fixed the issue…Thanks!
@@Fresh-tw7ev yeah right on remember from what i hear you can only straighten it one time after that it weakens the crank and it could be dangerous just a reminder one time and one time only...
Honda mowers are great for bent cranks. I recommend using a long pipe over thr crank shaft on Honda mowers and be very careful as you can damage the block and or cause the bearings to fail and seal to leak oil. After that. all bets are off.
Never use the words "straighten crankshaft" when describing the repair of a bent crankshaft. Always say "repair bent crankshaft." Because the words "straighten crankshaft" is now a legal term, which can be used in court.
@@RatSleds I love it when these pinheads complain about some camera movement... Forget the fact that you went out of your way trying to provide some useful information. Like you're supposed to produce a video as if you have some multi million dollar film production company. What some asshole Tube trolls will complain about!! Edit... Wow, I just read what the other pinhead said, the shaft is not bent enough for his liking... I got something that can fix that for you fella, hey Rat, pass me that sledge!! Right upside!!
Agree with Rat Sled that even slight excess rattle makes mowing more difficult and tiring bc you're always gripping too hard to hold onto the mower and you're more tired and worn out after mowing bc you were holding onto an excessively vibrating machine for 30-60 minutes which is a workout, and NOT a good workout, if you ask me.
Just picked one of these up at an estate sale. Thanks for sharing. You have a new sub. 🦅
Thanks for the sub!
