Hi Nadia...great tutorial as usual. The ads were no big deal...just wait a few seconds then skip them. What I liked most about this hat was the flaps and tassels. They can be used on lots of other kinds of hats too!

A small suggestion: you can do small clips of how to do each row, then come back to show how to do the end of the row, it may make the video a bit shorter. There were quite a few commercials as well.

I have size 4 yarn. Will that change the size of the hat drastically? And if so how do I make it to where it comes out the right size?
I tried It but got too small for adult size! Dont know why

I had fun crocheting this pattern but it ended up super huge! What did I do wrong? I used the same yarn as you as well as the same size hook. I’m a very tight crocheter so I was surprised it came out so big

I made this hat but I used a size N Armor hook & it turned out so much bigger than yours! I don't know how . Mine also looks squared at the top.
I would try using one size down bc Myn did the same thing not happy..

Jessie Gilligan did the hat turn out smaller using the smaller hook or was it still on the bigger side? I made it using the n hook and it was very big. just curious
