Here is a tip. Start your band using both loops for first stitch then BLO for next stitches and end with both loops in last stitch. Full single crochet to start and full single crochet to end each row of hat brim.
I've been looking tirelessly for this exact tutorial, finally I found it. I'm using this technique for a sock slipper. I haven't crocheted in years and somehow forgot a lot of stitches & how to do techniques including this particular one - lol. Thank you so much!!!
You saved my bottom up hat - I had made several with a different yarn but the new yarn I got was weirdly stretched when I put a single-crochet in each row - so thank you so much.
So to continue the hat, do you keep slip stitching on top of each row until finish? I made the brim and did the single crochet , but now I don't know how to finish lol😅 Thank you!
