Ken Penders needs to accept the fact that he didn't create anything from SatAM or Archie, he simply added to it.

The man makes Rob Liefeld look like a competent artist and writer.
I wish the re-release do not sell at all and Ken get sued by SEGA/Archie.
I really wish the two sides could work something out and actually rerelease the comics in their original form as big omnibus volumes in full color. It'd be nice to just be able to read the Archie comics in order in a size big enough to be able to be put alongside Marvel and DC comics.
The only reason Ken won the initial lawsuit was because SEGA let him. This _might_ be SEGA's opportunity to sue Ken and actually win, and get a good chunk of characters from the comics back.
Unless I'm a complete idiot and that's not how that works... Henseforth why I said might.

n issue because Archie, Fleetway, IDW, Ken Penders, AND Sega are all EQUALLY toxic, as well as are all also responsible for this mess, and the solution is to boot the literal Yakuza from Sega, then buy up ALL of the Fleetway, Archie/SatAM, Sonic X, and IDW Sonic characters, reboot the entire d

n Sonic universe, not just in video games, but also in the comics as well, and to learn from the lessons of what NOT to do with TMNT, Usagi Yojimbo, and Ninjara, make one cohesive universe, learn some cues from Mario (yes, that sounds sacrilege, but, trust me, Sonic and company need powers that are both more diverse, as well as are also unique to themselves, and, in some cases, be shared among themselves as well), and then learn some additional lessons from the Sonic clones like the Freedom Planet, as well as other, franchises, so, that way, Sonic can be a true rival to Mario, and, considering how much of a decline that the franchise has had since Super Mario 3D World, it is all in favor of such a advantageous move for Sega.

Ken tries to convince himself that he owns characters that he can't even use by the way, since they're basically just clones of the main characters and are not legally distinct enough to be useable by him, and Archie never communicated with Sega when making a new character, meaning they never made the copyright for them.
@@paxhumana2015 Archie and Sega simply had communication issues, and Ken refuses to hand over his characters that he, again, can not use because they are not legally distinct enough.

Corporate lawsuits is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies.
Penders is a rare exception.
If there's one character I know won't show up in it, it's Amy. I'm pretty convinced he hates her. I can't think of one thing he written that did her justice.
Someone please buy this (and publically annouce it beforehand so that Penders gets as little money as possible) then dump it onto the internet so that anyone can read it for free, mainly for preservation purposes.
*EDIT:* It appears that Bobby of "Thanks, Ken Penders" fame has ordered a copy. No need to buy any more of this garbage.

Shame i don't see Archie re-releasing the sonic stuff. I'm sure they don't want the headache from dealing with Ken.
Archie Comics can't, because they no longer have license for Sonic the Hedgehog.
IDW does, in fact, IDW did reprint collection books of the old Archie licensed Ninja Turtles Adventures comics, (because IDW also has license for TMNT) so it's up to IDW and Sega to reprint them, but sadly all the legal battles with Ken years back has made Sega and Co. way too paranoid to even try sadly...
Apparently, they also had legal issues/battles with Scott Fulop (whom was inspired by Ken...) over his stories/characters too.
Something you don't hear about with the Penders drama. So thanks to those 2 guys, we'll probably not see Archie Sonic ever legally/officially reprinted again in our lifetime at least...
I should also probably mention for legal reasons the Archie TMNT reprint collections edit out the Archie logos off the cover art pages for each issue in each collection, due to legal issues. So that shows IDW didn't have to owe any credit to the former Archie publisher.
I think he will change the copyrighted characters by his own characters, i already think he will do that
Apparently all he needs to do is ensure people aren’t buying it thinking it’s a new Sonic product.
Thus why the cover is his artwork.

@@OrtemionQC I know. But as long as nobody is thinking this is a new Sonic thing, he can do it.
So for people buying it, please hashtag Sega saying "finally, we're getting Archie Sonic back" while making sure you point out you are buying it because of its connection to Sonic. Then they can do something.

I'm honestly glad Ken is doing this since he's finally going to get what's coming to him.

Sucks that I can't find any of the Sonic Archie comics now because of Ken "Echidna NFT" Penders.
no there is plenty of evidence that he probably will go to prison. so don’t worry the moment he releases that comic he will go to jail
Does Ian Flynn or Sega even know about this Re-Release?
As I told this before hand he was selling them at a comic con near me for 100 dollars which was way to much for me (I only had 200 hundred on me at the time)suffice to say it was a pass for me but I did buy a patch since why not and got his business card as well.
I can buy the comics for less on eBay. His website said he was selling for them at a different price which confused me.
When I go back this august I might buy the Lara su chronicles just for shits and giggles pardon my language.

I actually don’t have any issues with this mini series. I thought it was enjoyable enough, even before Ian Flynn.
My gut feeling is that he can't possibly legally release it...I've never read it, so I'm not sure how much of it focuses on his OCs, but based on what I've heard about the comic industry before, this seems like a no-go. Something sorta similar happened with IDW's reprints of the Marvel Transformers comics, where the second issue had a guest appearance from Spider-Man. Though they had the legal rights to use all the other characters in the comics, they couldn't reprint the issue with Spider-Man, simply because of that SINGLE character whose copyright they didn't own.
Even if Sonic and the rest played a secondary role in Mobius 25 years later, it probably will still be considered a violation of copyright. Unless, of course, Penders can weasel his way out somehow...he's done it before.
im not a ken penders super fan, but yes he does have the legal right to reissue these stories that he wrote and drew for, theres a proper legal list of ones that he can and he even has the issues the has the legal right to reissue up on his shop. alot of sonic fans just cant read legal docs properly so theres been alot of misinformation. so to summize, yes legally he can release a decent junk of sonics early run legally and sega/archie cannot stop that cause he owns the rights. I wish sega had the proper rights for everything for archie sonic but hey at least its getting out there.
I do hope Sega can add at least 1 echidna to the series so our boy Knuckles doesn't feel alone and expand the lore for the echinda race. (Without you know who being the total ego maniacal creep they are interfering)

Can ken stop ruining it. Just let go please if like to get good quality rerealses in my country of the old archy sonic comics.
