Awesome sir! Those mowers are hard to find in decent shape and are great mowers to buy, fix, maintain and keep them for a long time!
With the kawi motors there bullet proof lil heavy for a rider on lawns but they do such a nice job have the se mower for over ten years an my metro walk behind is from 97 runs an runs an runs 40plus hours a week never any down time stumbled across your video same as I would do great stuff

The way your taking care of it alot of others will enjoy it not me im sorry to say but it was nice to see goodness.
Put the bearing(s) in the grease can, all at one time and use your fingers, ONCE, leave them in the can and pull them out one by one to install; wipe your fingers (and fingers) less often! Great video!!
Is tightening the nut too much supposed to cause the bearings to seize or reduce the freespin of the wheels? I was under the impression you tighten them as much as possible and if your spacer is set right it should still freespin. Then again I have different bearings than you.
What size socket you use for top of the caster?

great vid! Dumb question but how did you know your bearings needed to be changed?
Both front wheels were wobbling and making a grinding noise. They did not spin smoothly by hand. I took one apart to inspect and all the rollers fell out of one of the bearings. I picked them up off the ground, held them back in place with some grease. I inspected the spacers and saw how they were damaged. I put the wheel back together in order to keep cutting grass. I ordered all new bearings, seals and spacers.

I can pull and push one of my front wheels from side to side and the other will not move from side to side. So I am guessing this is whats wrong with mine too? (It has about 170 hrs on it in about 4 yrs.)
I have not taken it off to look yet. Figured I would check out some diy videos before I got the hands greasy!

my left front tire is rubbing frame. will not completely turn. what is solution
How about standing and painting before installing the new bearings to avoid contaminating the new bearings.
