- I recently bit the bullet and finally invested into a new mower to make my life easier around the property! I went with the Exmark Lazer Z "E-series" 60" zero turn mower. After you watch this video you'll see exactly why I made the decision I did!

I have an S-series and 3 X-series and honestly it’s not a huge difference. You can’t go wrong with an Lazer E series…especially for taking care of an estate your size. I think you made a good choice.
Excellent video man. I learned a lot. Props to the salesman for being honest and not 100% trying to upsell you. And I have zero interest in buying a new zero turn mower. I ended up here because I was looking at blades lol
This guy is one hell of a salesman
The acres are lookin great Barry! ✌️😃 There’s nothing like the satisfaction of finding and using the “pro” stuff - so worth it!
I really enjoyed this video. The salesman was really excellent. Very good at educating. Congrats.
Good to know. Im in the market for a new mower and have heard good things about these.
Good choice, I did the same thing. Bought the E with the FX801V and added the seat rubber mounts and the rear 24 inch Kendra K30 Tires and sealed the front tires ..Love it Nice Video !!
You did good. Bought my 72” Exmark Lazer Z in 2016 and still love it. Mine has a hardtop canopy. I adore it.
Do you ever have issues hitting tree limbs with the canopy? I don’t even like to have my ROP up because it catches on too many trees and bushes.
I just try to be careful and I keep the limbs that are low trimmed so I don’t run into them.
I bought the radius X series 60 inch about three years ago best lawnmower I ever had !
I bought my 44" Lazer Z HP new in 2003. It reduced my cutting time down by 75% compared to a 48" lawn tractpr. In 20 years I've put 1 set of spindles because they were noisy, 1 fuel pump, 2 PTO switches, and one set of tires It has a 17hp Kawasaki and other than regular maintenance PM's, not a single failure, never touched the carb....EVER!!! Getting ready to do a paint refurbish.
I have a 2005.. 1000's of hours meter quit at 2800..
New spindles
One pto clutch
Blade switch
Starter
Multiple batteries
New seat
Change all oil and grease completely beginning of every year..
Still fires up first crank unless the batteries toast.
About to buy a new one this year..
Exmark are great. I have been happy with my Gravely. Enjoy the mow!
I have about 100 hours on my Radius S 60" and it a real pleasure to mow. 3 -3.5 acres. Very low maintenance, starts promptly every time. It's the rear-discharge model and I won't go back to side discharge if I can help it. Much cleaner looking finish because no windrows left, and I need to get into some tight locations where it'd be a real problem if clippings were being sprayed out the side.
I will say that mine's finicky about keeping the underside of the deck clean. I can tell it's time when the mower leaves clumps. Clean underdeck, very important.
Also my seat doesn't lift up, and I'm pretty sure there's a zerk under there.
I notice the price you were quoted for that Radius S is what I paid two years ago, upstate NY. Good on Exmark.
Thanks…good info on the different models/ features.
Great video. Thanks 👍
Hey bud congratulations on the new mower. I have a radius x and I cut 9 yards a weed and I have had 2 of them and zero problems. I don't like the deck height adjuster on the Lazer z is why I went with the radius.
Good sales rep!!
😁👉 I live in Omaha, Nebraska, but I worked in Beatrice at ExMart Great Job on picking .
Love that mower I use the same one at the company I work for in Pelham acre group lawn and landscape we actually buy our equipment at that same store
Best video I’ve found helpful
By far the best machine on the market
I’m considering that exact mower! I can’t wait to pull the trigger! I am. All of my needs can be taken care of with that E series.
Man it took me about 2 years to finally pull the trigger. 2 years later I’m still so happy with my decision
@@BackYard-Barry I can’t wait! Barry, these mowers keep their value in an incredible way! So while I was shopping for that mower, the salesman in Cartersville Ga knew I had the Navigator also. It was probably 14 years old! Only 235 hours on it. I wasn’t thinking about selling it…he asked me why didn’t I just sale that one and use that money to put on the Lazer Z? I took that thought home with me. Someone came in to his dealership and asked about the Navigator as you know they are rare! Sir, I sold that mower this pass weekend for MORE that I pared for it brand new!!! They cost $19k now! I paid $12 back around 2009!
Xmark is hard to beat!!! The guy loves that mower! It’s time for me to step in to the E series Lazer Z.
be glad you bought an eX and not a scam, i mean scag :)
I use a 72 in s series lazer z and its been a great mower. It has 5,200 hours use it 8 hours a day and haven’t had a issue with it. Spindles are all original
What a good dad!
I need a lawn mover that cuts 2 acres and also Not LOUD so I don’t lose my hearing!!! Is that the lawnmower you have… or can you recommend one.
We use lazer z’s (72in)(S-Series, I think) at work and they’re built to last as long as u take care of it. We have hit stuff and had a few spindles crap out on us but they were hard hits.
Basically, take care of it, it’ll take care of u.
Bobcats were always good.....But i love my X-MARK.
great Mowing my lawn in half the time
I had a Lazer Z that had just turned 23 years old. I owned it for 5-6 years.... Id still have it if I could have gotten a new motor for it but everyone is out and I couldnt wait. I went with a new Toro I found a steal on from left over 22s. 2000 series HDX. I dont think there is anything wrong with some of the other commercial mowers, but I would have gone Hustler side by side with a lot of others. Exmark/Toro and Hustlers are some great machines.
Did you have the 27hp Kawasaki on your ex
@@chipsammich2078 no. Had the 23 Kohler. Have the 24 Kawasaki on the toro and I feel the difference.
I have a 56 inch cut 2006 bought it from a girl I know for 400 dollars had to replace oil sump seal I think it was good deal still cut good !
If I could find and buy a brand-new Lazer z whether it be an e s or x series for 10,000 I would buy two of them today. I don't think it's just my dealer I think prices have just gone up that much I see this video was posted 9 months ago.
I was worried you would go with the radius because of the price but for anything over 3 acres the lazer z is mandatory. I use a radius as my commercial mower and cut small yards for a living and have ZERO complaints, however I took on a 3 acre property and found my ground speed was way too slow to be productive.
How do you like the mower?
I don't know about these prices but I can tell you I was at my deal or two days ago and a lazer z s series 52-inch deck is 15,000.
I have a 72 inch
X. 2000 IT STILL KILLS
NO PROBLEMS
Nice explaination... I bought the X 72 😍
If you want a tougher Exmark go toro, I hit a cast iron well head at 8 mph with the 6000 series to a dead stop and it cause no damage… 80 ksi 3/16 in thick mower deck is great!
Toro isn't any different just the deck. Lol
@@turfcommando9216 exactly, both the mowers are either same or Toro has an edge in durability, specifically the mower deck…
Same mower as the toro minus the deck. They both are tough
I bought one in 2009, a left-over 08, and it's never left me sit, has the 25 kohler 60" ultra cut on a Lazer Z haven't replaced anything but oil, filters. spark plugs and ever 2 years I change out the belts, use 3 sets of blades and rotate ever 3 weeks, cost me 8K
Question for any exmark dealer if they c this somehow, is it possible to custom order a 60/72 lazer with the big block Koehler off of the 96in lazer or 60in TT with the “big block” off the 72in lazer. Idk the designation of the motors unfortunately
Or is it possible to mount either to the other mower without needing adjustments to the framework
Yes he is right I have a old school 61-in Scag Wildcat and still running
But also I still have a 60 inch Exmark put in a new engine on it
Never been on a scag that wasn't falling apart
Your buddies told you wrong. It should be a Scag 72 inch 😂😂 But seriously, be safe and congrats on upping your mowing game.
Sorry Scag X mark all the way!!!
absolutely true. i wish i have gotten a scag back in 2019 with velocity deck. i have an exmark radius 52" x series. while i like the seat and kawasaki engine - the deck is garbage, unless you are cutting in a perfect conditions it will clump, and you will have to stop and clean the deck. the shoot is so narrow. and yes, the blades are sharp so there's no issues there.
I have a Lazer z exmark from 1999 and over 4300 hours on it and it is better than the new one.
@@mrfister2916 I've got a '20 or '21 Lazer Z that's given me _more_ problems than any old pos mower I've used in my business. In fact, more downtime, the tension arm bushing ( not the pulley, because my local dealer gave me one right as he was trying to close for the day, God Bless him......and it didn't fix the problem ) for the hydro belt crapped out on me yesterday. Just another problem in a long 2 year list of them. I should have gone Scag, but my local dealer is an Exmark dealer, and even though I bought the mower at another dealer ( price chasing 🙄 ), I bought it because that's one of my local's brands.
If I can get a good trade in deal, I'm getting rid of the Lazer, and going either Scag or Hustler ( my local also does them ) this year. I'm done with this thing.....hopefully 🤣
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power sorry you don't know that the new stuff sucks. Epa and all that, mine still runs great 👍
How to change idle pulley on idle arm 48” Lazer E series
You can definitely hit big sticks and stuff. I have seen people hit cemetery stones. It happens. Its never happened to me but i have seen it.
But yeah you can run over loose stick easy.
The company I work for got us a standing exMark ridding mower, used one of course,at the beginning was an awesome equipment, now is having so many mechanical problems it’s unbelievable, and to complete all together.no one in this damn town wants to work on it,parts are incredible expensive and very hard to get, practically a piece of junk.
Toro 60” exmark enciende el motor, las cuchillas trabajan el problema es que no camina cual es el problema?
Should of gotten a 72 inch deck.
Lol.
Be done in almost half the time!
Update- 2024- Mine is having issues running. It'll die within a few minutes unless I turn my gas cap loose. Suggestions? Maybe a bad Venting Cap?
4yr or 500hr warranty which ever comes 1st for US or Canada.
Got an E Series 52" Exmark Engine & it cuts my 5 acres in 1/2 the time, twice a month!
You do have to keep up maintenance like with anything. Had 1 spindle crack. the front tires will go flat & mine just started bogging down 2 months after warranty expired!
Only 300hrs on it. Engine runs strong, think it's just the belts or clutch.
Just changed all fluids, filters. Just about everything but the belts & clutch trying to repair it.
Exmark is number 1 in the Tennessee area
You must be cutting in a urban area in Tennessee. In northeast Tennessee you will see more scag turf tiger brand mowers on lawncare companies trailers. They have shaft driven decks and cut the taller rural grass fields with ease.
“You’ll cut your mowing time in half” 😂
I want to do a product collaboration, any ideas?
I really wish you would have evaluated FERRIS ...
Spindle problems
Exmark is good stuff but I would recommend the Hustler Super 104. About an hour and a half you'd be done. Their mowing deck somehow never misses a blade of grass!!
I wish I had those prices in my area!!!!!!!!!!!! jeez
72 inch 37hp vanguard lazer z does well on my 15 acres.
I got a exmark mower 52 inch I like mine you want go rough buying a exmark mower
Wait until your kids are in high school. Mowing the grass will be your zen time. 😂
Shit, prices nowadays are 3 to 5grand more now
Everything is under warranty until it time to use the warranty that's when the bulls**t starts.
We have Deck Wheel Kit that may fit your Mower. We can provide for free. Do you need?
🎉🎉😂
I paid 16000 for s series in nj in 2022 I think I paid to much
Craftsman 60 inch tractor over Exmark any day.
Don’t buy the kholer engine
I have a Kawasaki engine
@@P.a.oliveros the kohler just don’t have the pickup and torque the kawasakis do
eXmark has so many bolt heads in the clippings area…causing buildup that you will have to clean. Pure stupidity.
Hahahaha such a noob mistake. Buying a mower and bringing a trailer that the machine doesn't fit on! 😂😂😂
Hi, how can we contact you for business inquiry?
Do your research Exmark is the lower end of quality mowers and service. Their is five major brands amd Exmark isn't listed.
