Hey everyone I am so sorry I can't find the footage for part 2 the END RESULT that fixed the problem for me was ordering and installing a new drain pump assembly. This fixed it perfectly! EDIT: Finally got around to making part 2 - ua-cam.com/video/8FI4V6Xiyaw/v-deo.html
@@colin1321 If you did all the steps in this video I would recommend either 1. Replacing the pump assembly with a new one - or- Calling an appliance tech out. Double-check the tech sheet though and see if there's a way to reset the error code although many models look the same they are updated all the time and may differ from the one you see in this video.
Followed all the steps exactly and now our washing machine works. It has hair pins and two small socks inside the drainer. Thanks for sharing this video!!
THANK YOU!!! Saved lots of money. Found 3 socks (now i know where they go), coins, gunk.. yuck. It works perfectly, took me less than an hour with your video, Much Appreciated!!
This worked for me. Thank you for this video! But when i plugged it back in, the door was still locked for about 10 min. It was making a bit of noise and none of the buttons responded. But I let it run and after a few minutes it eventually stopped and released the door.
Can a dripping door seal (drops from the spout at 11:00 position on that seal) can that cause the washer to not drain and throw F9 codes? Pump was cleaned out by a handyman but not sure if it wasn’t sealed correctly would that cause these codes and the drip. Or is our washer toast? Is was working fine !! I love my washer . Thank you 1:41
Hey, part two is coming up I’ve been out of commission past few weeks. I had the same symptoms you are describing and fixed it by just replacing the drain pump
Thanks. I spent a weekend fixing it And here is what i found. Since it is a week-old machine i did not went to the drain pomp replacement so trien less destructuve methods. Where rhe drain hose is plugged into the wall i have a simple ball valve. The ball is designed to block the odour and the water force has to be minimal to move the ball and release the passage for water drain. I found a piece of fabric strap there. Removed and turned machine on again. One cycle was good but at the second the same story. But this time nothing in the filter and nothing at the valve. So i decided to use compressor air and let the air into the drain hose. It helped. After one cycle the error F9E1 appeared again. Found a second piece of fabric strup at tha valve in the wall. At this moment after three cycles machine works without any issue. Hope this will be a constant :) Note: my machine has different design. Filter is easyly accessable -in the front of machine but to access the drain pump i have to disassemble much more than in yours. I dod not make it to not lose warranty. And another difference is that my drain hose is a one piece design and cannot be detached as yours. Anyway. Thank you for uploading the video. You are the first i found not closing the investigation by findig filter blocked as many on YT, so it was very influencing. Regards P.
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro take off back panel and you can get to it from underneath I do them by myself all the time. It’s when you get the lockout code that makes it difficult
What model is this? I have the same one but it is burried and I can't remove it from its location. I'd rather order the drain pump assembly that's required
I had one this week I removed 4 socks and 2 bra pads. One of the socks were stuck in drum. I had to remove the motor. Was torture. How do they get passed the washer boot ?
Same error codes I have, but there's a twist. Sounds like the motor is running but nothing is moving. The door is locked too, so i can't reach in and check to see if drum is rotating freely.
Honestly, I wish we could invent a washing machine that has a built in voice and a screen with actual words, to tell us exactly what needs attention, rather than expecting us to just guess what is going on.
after you clear the plastic screen at the pump - pull the washing machine drain hose (the one inside machine) flush with hot water and run a wire through it a few times. I had cleared my screen and continued to get the code. once cleared the hose, it worked fine. code is gone.
Maybe the drain hose is has too much water or clogged make sure the drain hose is not leaking when you see a error code your drain cycle is too long to drain
I had a service call today for one that was jam packed to the top with coins I swear I must have pulled $5 coins out. I have never seen that many coins in A pump catch basket. Sadly it was so jam packed it burned out the pump.

Hello where do you usually order the drain pump?

Thanks for the post, I had a combination of lint/hair/& coins once removed the machine works fine.

My washer’s filter was clogged. Fixed my F9 E1 code. Thank you.
You saved us a 1000 bucks. About to buy a new one! Thank you!
Thank you! I was able to fix my washer machine. I appreciate it! 🎉
Did the trick, and the additional commentary was a huge help
Followed but the error came back. We will keep trying. Does sound like the pump is shot. My wife and I say thank you from California ❤🌈
Thankful for your video. You solved my problem- quick and to the point.

Great to hear!
Thank you, I managed to fix the problem after watching your video. Keep up the good work.
Your video was excellent and so easy to follow! You brought our machine back to life thank so much! We appreciate you!
Thank-you for these clear instructions. There were some interesting items in the filter, but the main culprit was a dog waste bag (empty, of course!).
Worked for us! Found a lego and piece of metal x) Thank you so much!!
Nice, glad you got it working!
Saved my a$$ and cash. Found a sock in the filter at the bottom of the drain hose assembly. Thanks
You just saved me about $100. Thank you very much!
🙏
YEEESSS YOU SAVED ME!!!!!! we had THREE masks in the filter lol
This video helps a lot, but was the "click above" video for further troubleshooting ever completed? I assume it showed how to replace the drain pump?

Doing one of those by yourself can be a bit difficult if you have the dryer on top of the washer & need to use air sliders
I got lucky the closet was pretty big so enough room to wiggle it out to access the panel
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro take off back panel and you can get to it from underneath I do them by myself all the time. It’s when you get the lockout code that makes it difficult
What bit can I use to remove the screws if I don’t have an automatic screw remover lol sorry I’m new to this and it’s just me removing them
A 11-1 screwdriver will usually have the correct bit 👍
Can't find part 2 did this and it worked for about 3 or 4 more washes and now it's throwing same codes again.

What can i do for same code in a condo the dryer is on top there is no space what should i do?
3 bra pads in there, worked liked a charm even tho I didn’t pull the filter out as smooth as you and I got soaked 😅 Thank you for the video!

If this fixes the problem but then the error pops up again when draining , can it be the weight of thr load or suds of the soap?
