I had an 2018 Sahara. Trader in though two years after I bought it. Wasn’t big enough for all my kids to be comfortable. Man I miss it so much.

Just spent two weeks in Arizona with a ‘23 Sahara rental (Avis). Was averaging 28 mpg highway with the 2.0 turbo (can’t believe they’re saying 20 highway for ‘24), and drove the Sahara with HT tires down some gnarly rocky trail. Made it to the upper parking area for the Robbers Roost Cave hike. Enjoyed having it for those two weeks!

I just bought a 2024 Wrangler 4Dr Sport. 2.0L Turbo with 8 speed auto transmission. Came with a 3.5 lift on 18' Fuel wheels and 35' Nitto's. Many other up grades for 46K and change.
Since I been watching videos of jeeps

I have the Sahara and I love my Jeep so much but I will say , it runs through gas really really fast since its a heavy vehicle. $500 min on gas monthly , high insurance cost , and hybrid option sucks. But I do love driving my Jeep it’s a nice experience everytime.
How many miles do you drive a month?

no only with leather and you cant get leather with the sport
Love the wrangler but I would never get one because I do a highway driving and they’re terrible on the highway.

What do you think about the convertible model? Not the power roof..
Like the soft top? Probably pretty loud at highway speeds but definitely easy to take off and saves quite a bit of $$. Also, keep in mind, there’s quite a bit less insulation with the soft top too for those hot and/or cold days!
Don’t they make the Sahara w/ the 6 cylinder also?

You can make a Sahara very off road capable. While yes this is the very road worthy wrangler stock. But to have a jeep and mod it to what you need. I’ve done the mods and some say just get a rubicon. But I’ve never once found myself needed the rubicon off road features. I ride right along side with them too

I think of buy new 24' Jeep Wrangler Sahara.
What is the towing capacity?
I cannot find a definitive answer to that, hence why I didn't include it in the video. Id guess 3,500 lbs
Looks like you can only get the Sahara with a 4 banger turbo so we crossed it off our list.
The 4 banger is actually surprisingly peppy. I think you should at least test drive it before making a final decision
the 4 banger turbo has more torque and Hp than the 2 v6 options lol.
@@jstorm7203 My reason for not liking that turbo engine is, from what I have read is the turbo will likely wear out at around 100,000 miles. The engine itself is expected to last as long as a 6 cylinder. The engine that would probably do well in a Jeep is the new Hurricane, inline 6, with a liquid cooled turbo. I think the liquid cooled turbo would last much longer than a air cooled turbo.
And you can get the Sahara in the 4xe hybrid powertrain... 375 hp and 470 lb/ft of torque! I have one, it is really quick for a Wrangler. Surprises many other drivers at stoplights.

For me Wrangler is mostly for off-rading. That's why I would buy only Rubicon especially with 392 engine. Greetings

My 2021 Sahara is a beast off road. Does everything the rubicon does minus the lockers. Those are only needed for serious rock crawling.
In my country people are buying Toyota Fortuner at Rs 55 lakh ($66k) which is absolutely a waste of money and you get nothing

2019 Sahara with 2.0, nearing 80k, no problems whatsoever. Regular maintenance and higher octane fuel helps I guess.

My 2020 Sahara gets 23mpg here in central TX averaging 80mph... that still with larger 275/70/R18 BFGoodrich KO2.
