If you buy the Rubicon with the 35 inch tire package you’re going to get the 456 gears but what you also get with the Rubicon that you will not get in willies is the 4:1 transfer case
@@robbieromain7382 I did not know that. I stopped looking at the 4XE when I found out they only have a 20 mile range on electric ⚡️. I was hoping for more.
This week, I am buying a Rubicon X but with Package 23Y ($9950) and 6-speed manual transmission (saving of $4000). MSRP is $68,995 before rebates and incentives.
@@CTECH-REVIEW Thank you. It came down to picking a color. At the last minute, I switched to white (MSRP $68,400). The whole transaction was done remotely. They haven't seen my trade in person, and I haven't seen my new Rubicon X in person. They are delivering it from 5 hours away on Monday.
On the JL Willys have came with the same shocks as the Rubicon but not springs. Not sure if the extreme Recon option upgrades the springs as well or not but I’m assuming it has better bigger shocks and upgraded springs to give the increased lift for clearance for the 35 inch tires.
im confused.... 2024 regular rubicons are not supposed to have colour matched fenders, or powered leather seats unless they are Rubicon X.... how is it that regular 24 rubicon has leather?
So, if you had to choose between the Willy's Unlimited V6, Auto, with XR package vs Rubicon Unlimited V6, Manual, Stock wheel/tire setup, and both were at the same price (55K after dealer discount) which would you choose and why? Also, both have Hard top and Technology package but in the Willy's it's just the Alpine and 240amp Alternator.
@@CTECH-REVIEW Thank you, that's my thought too, but the Willy's with the XR is tempting. The labor and aftermarket checklist would probably be higher than the 5K XR upgrades.
So there is talk about the possibility of a new engines for the 2025 year think I’ll wait until the next year comes out. More power is always better with bigger tires.
Hard plastic means it is cheap. Wait until all that hard plastic starts coming loose and rattles. I removed every bit of cheap plastic from my Comanche: all that's left is the dash.
The one thing everyone talks about is the stupid V8 sound I can literally desert race a bronco raptor with an awesome sound. But I’m pretty sure the 392 would get totally destroyed in a desert race.
In previous years yea, sticker package. Current 2024, they've gotten better with 4.10 gearing, locking rear-diff, Front HD Dana 44, rear Dana M220 FF rear axle and Rubicon fender heights. Just missing edisconnect, 4-1 transfer case and I think the track width is 2" shorter.
I absolutely love the Jeep 1 Touch, it actually keeps me buying the Jeep with the 1 Touch!!!!
Heck ya!

Great point!
Willys 4xe gets the 4.10 !

@mike-pl8sn best powertrain in my opinion. The power and torque makes the jeep way more fun 😁
I like how light weight the aluminum 3.6 is makes the Jeep nimble on the trials almost as the TJ but fatter 🤣
Very nice comparison with great details revealed!
Thank you for watching!

This is great info. Thanks for this very informative video.
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice presentation. Good video👍

I am not sure! Let me look into this.
Great review!👍

What happened to the Moab edition 🤔
They didn’t have one to compare to! Those are very nice also

I am a fan of the rubicon more simply due to resale value. They typically hold value very well.

Not really a new engine, it is the 3.6 but it will be supercharged to 380hp.
I just bought the Rubicon X package, but it didn't come with a winch. Anyone know what winch is on this one?
Its a warn winch.
Any specific model? @@CTECH-REVIEW
Warn zeon 8s
The stock Rubicon shocks are not that good. Any drive offroad for more than an hour in the Summer, and they start to fade.
Ahh good to know.
Jeep uses live axles now
Very awesome!
Buying the 2024 rubicon 4xE I feel like I got ripped off I should have waited for a 392 rubicon
392 is very cool but I also think the 4XE is pretty darn neat. Thanks for watching.

I agree...BRAPTOR FTW!
Willis is junk at a low price. We want rubicons at a good price
