Yeah it's still kind of debatable whether I'd want to spend that sort of money on that device vs. New (fake) batteries. A new battery is a new battery. No complaints so far.
Hitting something to make it work is an old Russian thing, because Soviet TVs used to be like that: you hit them, and they start displaying properly. However, that does not work with chargers :(

you could've done this just without ripping out the battery ... the device could charge the cells that are over discharged ... this is what this device made for, to not tear apart the battery. this is another example why I told you those things...
Hello Sorin, I watched many of your videos and I know you always want to show how it is possible to get a battery working without the Advanced tools of NLBA. I admire that , but what I do not understand is why not going straight to see if there is an error code in the EPROM battery and diagnose from there. I mean in this case probably no "incision" would have been needed if you first unlocked the battery by cleaning the errors and then tried the NLBA charge menu. Would not that had worked ?
First, the fault must be fixed, in this case the cells voltage, otherwise the chip detects again the failure and set Permanent Failure flag. So, the correct steps are: diagnose the battery, find the problem, fix the problem (precharging and balacing the cells), unseal the chip, clear the chip errors. Only NLBA1 tool can unseal and clear the chip errors, the chips are secured and not easy to unseal.
