I bought one of those little fans after watching your videos. Dusted all 4 of my machines in around 60 seconds. Usually takes around half hour just to do my main dev rig. Worth every penny.
Nice video:- Soldering Tips Great diagnostic process Made a note that PD controller doesnt need programming 45 mins of Sorin voice makes my day. Thanks again for your knowledge.

It goes without saying that nothing is ever won in advance. But once again Sorin, you have analyzed the problem perfectly. Thanks again for the video. 😁👍
Took about 5 minutes to find the schematic and knew right away, 5v USBc power chip is the one that was burnt, and USBc controller dead. But you did it without schematic, 👍👍
Hi Sorin, a very hard and usuful repairs, next time you'll repair in 15 minutes...great job thank to teach us with so many passion, bye Francesco Timpano from Florence Italy
Some skill involved to ensure all balls are in good shape, lots of flux, the right nudge when up to temperature... but yes a chip this small is possible
Hi Sorin. regarding the BIOS/UEFi update - you should clean that up from your SSD as it's sitting there in the boot partition and you may not have the luck next time when the BIOS gets bricked and you'll need to re-flash it.

I have hp 840 G2 and it has Amd 1 gb card, recently I gave it for repair, now my laptop doesn't detect amd card, is it possible that repair man has removed it ? also can you tell how card looks like and where is the location of it so I can figure it out myself
Hello Boss, sorry i have ideapad 3-14itl6 laptop - type 82h7 that won't turn on. When i turn on the thing, it lights up the power indicator LED but after some second it turns off and turns on again afterwards and it stays on this loop, no display. If i connect it to AC adaptor, it shows charging indictor but when i power the PC on, the charging indicator does the same thing as the power indicator LED (both on, couple of seconds they go off and they come back on again, off, on and the loop continues can you tell me what's going on or what might be a possible fix for this?
I was hoping you would remove the RAM chip, which would show the model of motherboard, just to see the the cost on ebay in used condition vs the end total the customer will have to pay.
Probably the customer plugged something at the USB port and burned the pd controller and the 5 volt power supply. Could be one of the USB killer devices?
When i see "....hard repair" on the description , and i see that the video is 45 minutes , i grab popcorn and enjoy :)
Same
