To be frank, and I'm solely talking about my experiences here: Once you have samples THIS good... It's truly a plug n play and what you think sounds good. Dubstep the next few months are gonna be INS4N3!
@@K3NB0T yeah especially since vital is dropping in 2 days 😱 From what I've heard on the vital discord from people who were already able to get it from beta testing it seems like it will be pretty decent for dubstep

Man I wish my workflow was as fast as VR. Whenever I have ideas I just get stuck trying to create the sound I made up in my head and then my whole workflow is gone and I don't feel like working on a song anymore lol. Guess I gotta spend years on sound design to get things done more quickly

@@killspiritproject Yeah one of my issues as well is just not being able to start with a project cuz of this stupid perfectionism thing. But doing challenges like that is indeed a good way to train yourself to get better and faster

This is why I love sound designing in massive sessions before to have an entire library of sounds so you can do this. This is what producing is, being able to piece together a puzzle into a song. Sound designing while producing will ruin any flow you have going unless you can sound design quickly and efficiently
still, being able to change just the tiniest bit can make all the difference. Which is why I prefer saving presets

Dude this is so helpful! I've been messing with the background noise to fill out that emptiness he mentions, so seeing his process and what he's actually adding solo'ed out helps me know what I should be shooting for.

You should really just do a video on how you navigate Ableton so fast. Creating midi tracks, changing the grid size, etc. I know there are hot keys but damn, it looks like you've made some changes to make it easier/faster.
Looks like he’s just using hot keys tbh. Live enhancement Suite is a good program for making changes to Ableton’s workflow in the way you described though.

That tutorial was 🔥 What I did pick up was that the attack for each bass was quick to complement the kick and snare. There was a thump to the start of each one. Pitching and warping will help but it makes me think more about my bass design. Thank you for the knowledge.🔥💯

Proof that good samples with right volume adjustment is key. He literally put no processing plugins or effects on mixer.

What software is this? Sorry, been out of the scene for decades. LOL! Looks like a beefed up version of the old Sonic Foundry ACID. Wanting to get back into production.. Sample packs and tracker software is what I'm looking for, I struggle understanding the VST stuff.. LMAO
