- if Virtual Riot sees this tell him that the new album Simulation is amazing.
I love how he's brought melodic dubstep to a new level with the techniques he used
So i had to make a song in that style and I'll show you how to make it in this melodic dubstep tutorial.
There's amazing ableton stock plug-ins in combination with serum.
see everything! DL the serum presets & project file here packs.frombedr...
If you're a genre frog, then yes - this is def more color bass but youtube likes when I call it melodic dubstep.
I know they're different, don't be annoying about it just enjoy the video

Thats actually really dope! Pitchmap is really expensive, this is a great way of doing basically the same sound with ableton stock stuff! Great video! :)

sometimes it’s really hard to sit through tutorials, this was not the case, excellently done!
im trying my hardest
Honestly you really nailed this one. Product sounds amazing
thank you!!
“These samples wouldn’t exist if they wasn’t meant to be used”
That’s sir, is the truest statement made in 2022 I swear! 😂
now make some music
I think you are doin a great job of making your tutorials straight to the point, but not too fast and you aren’t getting off track👏 keep up the good work!
Well this is just incredible! For someone starting out making melodic dubstep, this made everything so clear
From your retro bass line I immediately heard “she said don’t, don’t let it go to your head” from Taking Back Sunday lol
the real ones know
Damn this tutorial is solid! Awesome job!

THE PERSONA MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND STARTLED ME LOL
the real ones know
thank you for having some midi in there, every video i swear is someone acting like they are gods gift when the daw in just a well timed splice playlist
These tutorials have been priceless while learning how to produce, I cant wait to put all these strategies to work!
This is beautiful! I think the movement born out of US dubstep is so underrated and needs a revival. Dubstep will never die! I love watching you work and hearing the finished project! And no, it's not cheating or "plagiarism" to use sample packs! Better than goat farming and all... Your project is also beautiful to look at. Virtual Riot has an amazing mind, and he's inspiring to many;)
This tutorial helped me a lot.Thank you

@@frank.berenguel Good to see you over here on UA-cam, my friend!! I'm a big fan of Ash!
You know I really needed to hear that bit about using splice I’m very new and definitely get discouraged that I can’t make crazy basses on my own but I’m gonna change the focus to completely stuff instead of scraping it when I can’t make a drop that sounds like shit fantastic video!
splice also has actual serum presets so u can get those and learn from them if u wanna go down that
Also my project files have serum presets included w them
This is very nice! Cool tutorial man please keep making these.
That's the plan!
grated tutorial I think I teared up a little at the drop
Just found this. Instant sub

you are so talented!!
7:11 is the best part xD
The song is a banger
dude you're SICK!
this HITS
Marvelous tutorial. I'm still trying very hard to get out of that mindset of having to create every sound while I'm making a song, it really slows down everything to the point where I usually get bored of it and start with something new, cycle repeats.
If I really have to make all the sounds myself, then I guess it would be better to have sound design sessions where I just grind for a lot of sounds, and make one-shots and loops out of it and save it for later use in a song instead of sound designing while I'm making a track. I'm just not really good at using samples as they kinda limit the ability to go 100% creative with it and edit it, but I gotta learn to get more creative with it, there's no such thing as "can't do" that's BS.
I like how your tuts also doesn't go into detail about sounds design or chord and progressions, leaving the viewer with the idea that they gotta do everything themselves and not just copy & paste ideas
Really good tutorial, subscribed
algorithmic blessings upon ye
Amazing tutorial!
amazing comment !
Amazing work man😊
Sick man! Thanks as always!
This is great, but i think you should add some crash cuz it feels pretty empty in the intro and build-up

As a emo guy i fucking dig these a "core" references! Much love bro
Great as usual
thank you full mana !
this is so sick, u just got a new patreon :D
ayyy thank you so much!!
This goes HARDDD
it goes colour hard
ppl being annoying about "using samples off splice bad" reminds me of rock fans hating fake guitar or pop fans hating autotune, weird puritanism that like u said only makes things harder for urself. theyre just tools, tools that can be used badly sure, but also can be used well. if you dont think it sounds original/authentic/whatever enough then fine, your loss, most people dont notice or care
Release this. Please. I need this in my life.
it's on my soundcloud
Well executed my guy 👌
thanks !!
Insta-subscribed. So sick man!
