The Miura is named after Antonio Miura, the person that bought the bull Murciélago, to use it for breeding. From this, all models from Lamborghini are named after a bull (except the Countach).

Im so tired of hearing about lights on supercars from the 60s, 80s, and 9os. It was almost impossible to design your own lights back then. You had to pick them off something else that was already government approved. It was a huge problem that lasted for 30 years. Today its a whole other story.

Had an HO slot car of a Miura in the 70s. Still have the Road & Track magazine with one on the cover. Editor’s said it was the fastest car they ever tested. Said they drove it on the Autobahn and a Porsche came up from behind and flashed its lights wanting to pass. Said they downshifted two gears and in seconds reduced the Porsche to a speck in the rear view mirrors. I’ve been smitten ever since.

Not only the taillights come from a 850 spider but the headlights too are straight from the first earlier gens fiat 850 spider. And I know that because my grandfather has a 850 spider and when he wanted to changes those same headlights, you could either get them for the fiat and would cost less than the ones from Lamborghini which were actually the same 😅
Actually, both the headlights and rear lights are the same as on the first series (1965-67) Fiat 850 Spider. This is true for the first (P400) and second (P400S) Miuras. They were changed on the third series (SV). The rear lights you show in the clip are on a later series 2 (1968-73) 850 Sport Spider US model, with reversing lights, so not entirely the same as the Miura. European series 2 Spiders retained the ‘Miura’ rear lights though (without reversing lights).
I'm from Spain. The top speed of fighting bulls is 15.5 mph (25 kph). Bullfighters often use horses to keep the bull in check. I always wondered why they chose that animal to counter Ferrari's badge when it's far slower than a horse 🤷🏽
Bro, this horn, is beautiful AF

Should have shown both doors open and how they look like Bull Horns from the front. One of my favorite design features.

For boutique manufacturers like Lamborghini and Ferrari it's not cost effective to build your own.
How everything was made of hard metal instead of todays plastic , that's amazing
