When it comes to "old studios" I do realize that it is kinda impossible to re-connect old teams & devs and bring back old, dead & long forgotten IPs (Dead Space 4 made by Visceral Games for example). With that being said, I would not mind if newer studio that understands the source material would bring back old IPs such as Drakan, Medievil, Spyro, & made a modern sequels for those game. Kinda like this new small indie team that is making new Heroes of Might and Magic game that is going to be spiritual successor to HoM&M3. So, yeah it is a proof that something like this is definitely possible. All we need is a couple of global Video game market crashes more & it will start to happen more often.
That's both the depressing and hopeful note behind a lot of these studios, the people behind the studios make up the developer. Some studios are long dead and gone and the people behind it have moved on, signed on with new studios or left the industry altogether. They're not coming back. But as long as the people behind these old franchises continue working in the industry and are allowed to let their creativity flow freely and bounce ideas off each other, who knows what new franchises and games we'll see in the future?
This video captures the essence of this game perfectly! I’m running a channel where I explore games from 2010 and beyond, including and more classics. It’s amazing to see how each game still has its own unique charm and dedicated fan base. Keep up the awesome work!
Bloody Roar could be crazy especially seeing how massive MK is. Nostalgia mixed with the new mechanics & gore it would be super cool even for a one & done
the huge problem with pretty much all of these studios is that there isn't anything left of the actual teams that made the great stuff you're talking about. unless you somehow get the gang back together, you're stuck with the backups of the backups that are left at these places now. sure you can give Rocksteady another chance, but are the people who are working there now even capable of anything more than that latest atrocity?

Great list... I love it when I'm in the middle of a play through of a game thats been sitting in my list and I randomly hear it in a video. I'm currently playing through Anachronox and it is indead AMAZING. Way ahead of its time the way the cutscenes playout in game with great Voice Over and the face is animated not with model movement that never really works well but with animated textures. The best part of the game is its story the writing is witty and clever and keeps you curious about whats going to happen next. Not all the gameplay elements work great on modern systems but definitely worth a playthrough. Its the Friday game on channel and its kinda sad it doesn't draw a larger audience the game is great.
Japan Studio is the biggest heartbreak. Gravity Rush and Shadow of The Colossus were some of the greatest games I've ever played and the soundtracks are the best! Id also like to add Star Breeze to the list. Technically still around but these guys made Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay and Condemned 1 and 2.

Now is the time for new and smaller studios to take over. Many of the big name studios are collapsing because they’ve lost what once made them great, and hopefully we see some great new IPs because there’s no better time for it than right now

Ravens softwares Star Trek Voyager Elite Force was top 5 games of my childhood the best star trek games ever made and a great fps in general. Needs more attention
For me Raven is my number 1. Loved all their games. Still surprised Hexen has never had a re-release. The Singularity is a killer fps. The time travel mechanic in that game is done brilliantly
Genki and Evolution need to make a come back. They've made some of the greatest and underrated racing games ever. NFS Underground wouldn't have been what it was if not for the Shutokou Battle aka Tokyo Xtreme Racer series. And the Motorstorm & WRC games are so much fun!
They never shoild have given up on Anthem. That was such a great game with great ideas they could have explanded on and developed further. The Ironman mechanics were great.
Whoa, what?! Someone who actually acknowledges that Heretic and Hexen exist? I think this is the first channel (gaming or otherwise) I've ever heard even reference those games by name.
Not gonna lie.. I looked at the video and thought "Hope they're gonna mention Raven Software". I was not dissapointed! "Singularity" is still my biggest surprise when it comes to a complete blind buy! Such a great game!
I physically felt the "I sleep / real sh!t" meme during the Konami segment. Falcon lists off some games, "eh", but then....BLOODY ROAR 😮. Even just a remake with modern graphics, that would be my one gaming wish.
I was thinking about Raven a few days ago. I really enjoyed playing their games when I was in high-school. Singularity, Wolverine, Wolfenstein and others. I remember when they were allowed to make actual games instead of being imprisoned in some mine somewhere making cod content. Sad times.
You guys are the most consistent gaming channel ever. Uploads everyday, even on holidays.

Definitely agree with the top 3. I have a few i would want to add but they are so old i don't think they could ever release anything good now. Bullfrog Productions, Microprose, Lionhead Studios, Interplay Productions, Black Isle Studio to name a few.
The fact there is no AAA Castlevania open world game is a crime to gaming industry. It would be the easiest cash grab in history!
Just get inspiration from Legacy of Kain and make it Castlevania and its an instant GOTY contender with loads of sales.
Come on Konami!
Would it be though? I can guarantee you that the vast majority of gamers have never heard of Castlevania or Legacy of Kain.
@@David-ud9ju You fucking kidding me?
Castlevania JUST got a renaissance with not only the Netflix shows, but also the 4 most recent collections on modern platforms
As for Legacy of Kain, we're getting a remaster of the 2 Soul Reaver games on modern platforms
I dunno what you're smoking to say some dumb shit like that, but EVERYONE knows about both franchises since the 80s and 90s
I actually liked Castlevania Lord of Shadows games.
Why open world??? I would be happy with just some new Classicvania, or even a Metroidvania, during the Battle of 1999, just give us the Julius game that we were promissed all those years
God I miss BLACK! I'm so glad you mentioned this game, been thinking why hasn't this beauty of a single player funfest been ported up and over? Haha.
Far Cry
The Order: 1886
Days Gone
Resistance
I would love to see sequels to these games and series.
👆
@@gameranxTV I thought you gave me the middle finger for a second lmfao 😂
I want a far cry 7 but NOT by ubisoft. Also days gone desperately needs a sequel it laid the ground for something that could be legendary
I mean i could be wrong here but i believe they made a sequel to Far Cry and called it Far Cry 2 then 3, 4, 5, 6...
Jokes aside this is a solid list The order and Days Gone deserve love and appreciation.
@@FakeAdirTV and what's that supposed to mean? There is no farcry without ubisoft. Same goes for all their franchises. And the same for every studio on this list.
How are you uploading quality videos everyday🔥
lol hope you’re enjoying them!
Respawn, please, Titanfall 3
The first two were awesome! I couldn't get into Apex.
@@Nodranil they 100% want to do it. It's just EA being EA and not letting them make it
I've been fantasizing about a new Ultima game for twenty-five years. I like isometric CRPGs but the thing I really like about Ultima is the world, lore and the big focus on the virtues. Moral heroes are in short supply these days.
17:38 “With BioWare making a comeback after the failure of Anthem…” What comeback? Veilguard? LOL!😂
Now is the time for new and smaller studios to take over. Many of the big name studios are collapsing because they’ve lost what once made them great, and hopefully we see some great new IPs because there’s no better time for it than right now
You missed a few =)
Cavedog Entertainment
Black Isle Studios
Bullfrog Productions
Westwood Studios
Maxis
Interplay Entertainment
Stainless Games
New World Computing
Psygnosis - that's a legendary studio I would love to see back, making games like Shadow of the Beast type innovation from the classic Amiga era, but with current gen hw.
Falcon da goat
It's a bird, not a goat 😁🤗
@@stateofmind578he should be a goat now lmaoo
This channel is the best 🎉🎉🎉
I already miss Volition even though my favourite game is 25 years old and never got its trilogy. Freespace 2 the best flying combat simulator ever!
The 2009 Wolfenstein by Raven Software is my favorite Wolfenstein game, very nice mix of shooting, supernatural/spooky elements and light RPG mechanics 👍🏻
That solid snake impression was actually really good!
lol thanks for watching!
Would love a new ultima or wing commander game. Some of my all time favorites. Thanks for the list Falcon
Climax Entertainment! But i feel that Gameranx has a real blind spot around Sega consoles. I never see any clips from Shining Force, Landstalker, or any other old school Sega greats. But I feel like I see an Ultima clip 1 video out of 3,
I would like to see the resurrection of Radical Entertainment (Activision) makers of the Prototype games. So much potential there. The parkour system in the first Prototype is a masterpiece.
I love how no matter what channel it is I'm watching a video on, it is always referred to as "The Call of Duty Mines".
Genki and Evolution need to make a come back. They've made some of the greatest and underrated racing games ever. NFS Underground wouldn't have been what it was if not for the Shutokou Battle aka Tokyo Xtreme Racer series. And the Motorstorm & WRC games are so much fun!
My predictions for the vid before watching:
-bethesda
-rocksteady
-ubisoft
-DICE
-infinity ward
-arkane
I played Singularity just a few months ago!
They never shoild have given up on Anthem. That was such a great game with great ideas they could have explanded on and developed further. The Ironman mechanics were great.
Hell yes falcon , bring back the greats and separate the hate. If these co. Come back we may actually get good games again. 😊
Thanks for watching :)
@gameranxTV everyday non stop and will continue to, ure channel is all the gaming news I need, keep up the awesome work :)
LocoRoco really deserves a comeback.
Every time Falcon says "per-say" take a shot... absolutely steaming.
Whoa, what?! Someone who actually acknowledges that Heretic and Hexen exist? I think this is the first channel (gaming or otherwise) I've ever heard even reference those games by name.
10:59 Holy crap I for some reason felt like I was the only person in the WORLD who remembered Bloody Roar!!! Bring it back!!!
Not gonna lie.. I looked at the video and thought "Hope they're gonna mention Raven Software".
I was not dissapointed! "Singularity" is still my biggest surprise when it comes to a complete blind buy! Such a great game!
Maxis! Yes, they have the Sims 4, but they had so much more :(
I really thought Maxis would be in the list, so much cool stuff, and now they are stuck in the sims DLC mines
RAVEN! Man those guys rocked, every game was great.
Sad times.
Dear Lord, I NEED an Anachronox sequel. I still play through the original from time to time.
