Shipping from the UK to the US is ridiculously expensive. I live in the US but originally from the UK, and my sisters/family send me packages each month. It’s much cheaper to ship over there than vise versa.
We priced it at around 30 pounds...my friend has shipped over here several times - so fingers crossed. ♥️

Postage between US and UK (either way) is out of control - last year it cost $17.10 to send birthday card to my nephew in UK. He’ll be getting a flat card not a fancy puffy one this year. US Forever FIrst Class stamp goes up to 73 cents in July. No more VAT refund at UK airports 😠😭 At Heathrow Gucci (YSL?) they will deduct VAT from your purchases but purchases have to be shipped to your home address, the cost of which, plus any Import Taxes, would probably wipe out any saving made on the VAT.
