The GPS is a useless feature for walking/running exercises plus it drains battery a lot faster. You don't need GPS to train. Steps and time counting and cadence are more than enough data. I never use GPS on my smartwatches because it helps with nothing

Acabei de comprar a minha Mi Band 8, pra mim que saiu da Mi Band 4 usando por 4 anos valeu muito apena, apresentou diversas melhorias, por isso segurei bastante antes de conprar uma nova versão da Mi Band band.

Yes, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro is more accurate because it has built-in GPS.
The band 8 is more accurate than the pro as the GPS on your mobile is more accurate than the band. The 8 will tether the GPS from your mobile

In the pro you can select the vibration: strong,normal or close and in my opinion pro is better

I haven't tested the Redmi Watch 3 Active, but it has very similar features to the Smart Band 8. However, the Redmi Watch 3 Active has Bluetooth calling. I think this is something that Xiaomi Smart Band 8 lacks.

My GPS is not working, what could be the reason? the watch searches for gps but finds nothing . Mi band 8 pro

@@Haver_Geometry so I found the cause of the problem. the GPS catches in an open area, in a house, it will not catch a bus, at the beginning it took 10 minutes to find satellites, but then it started searching faster. But there is another problem, I have the Chinese version and there is no map in my fitness for my area, only my path is visible on a black screen

We compared the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, Smart Band 8 Pro, and Strava on the iPhone 12 in the full comparison video. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro came very close to Strava, but the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 was far away.
