I really enjoyed that des end to end. There were some nice trails, walls, interactions with sheep farmers, plaque history and of course a few pints. It was nice to join you both. Mark
It is a beautiful area Des with a sad history. I love the sketches, too. I love the waterfall in full flood. I was lucky to catch it in my one visit. Great view from the Pub, too. Nice hike Des, thanks for sharing.
Hi Chris. Yes, there was a really good exhibition in the church telling the history. I was familiar with it, but made a good escape from a rain shower for ten minutes 😁 All the best👍
And Maria got cake too! Smiles all round ☺ I asked the owner of the site we stayed at, and we should be able to walk directly up to Bretton from the farm. So opens up a few more routes for next time we stay there.
