Noswaith dda Des 🙂👋 nice that you got out in your van overnight. This hike looked great and quiet, shame it was boggy near the hillfort, we love places like this that always seem to be nice and quiet !
The new mic seemed good... 🙂 Loved Robin Hoods Cave, that was good to see and the views from there were lovely. Shame the chef didn't turn up at the pub, hope you enjoyed what you had in the van 😃👍~ Anna

Hi Anna. It was a lovely little stopover. I'll definitely return, as there's so many different walks in the area.
A curry delivery saved the day on the food front...much better than a tin of beans from the cupboard! 😁 Hwyl!👍👍

Nice to see you. I hate those idiots and hate is not to strong a word. I was litter picking again at the weekend. Nice walk. Take care and be well

Hi David. Hard to get your head around why people would abuse a free stopover isn't it? Hope you're both keeping well👍

A grand walk there Des, hope you enjoyed your Iron Age tuna pasta 😁 Love all the area round Stanage Edge and Carl Wark. Shame the chef didn't turn up at the pub, glad you got your pint though! 😅👍

Hi Patrick. It is lovely over there, and I don't get across that side of the Peak District often enough. Curry delivery from Hathersage saved the day on the food front in the end 😁 I ate in the van, but the kind landlord offered to get me a plate if I'd wanted to eat in the pub!

What a pretty view out of the campervan window. Too bad people have to ruin it for everyone else. Looks like you had a great hike. Enjoyed hearing the birds. Views were something special. Love those grey slate type rocks amongst the green.
Nice pub but too bad about the chef.

Hi Bill & DeAnna. It was a lovely spot to stay, and fantastic walking. It's difficult to fathom why people would abuse a place that lets them park up free of charge!
Hope you are both keeping well👍☺

Hi Simon. Sorry about the slow response. Not been able to spend too much time on YT recently due to other stuff.
It was a really nice walk, and I'm pleased with the mic so far. Not sure a wired mic would work for how everyone films, but seems a great solution to me for a little over a tenner! ☺
Hope you and the family are keeping well👍☺

@@DesGreene yes good to hear you are doing ok Des (I’m enjoying your insta art works mate 👌🏻)
A mic for under a tenner that works is great (my kinda mic 🎤)
All the best with you and yours Des 🙏🏼

A pleasant walk des with some pretty dramatic skies. The camera looked to be working well. What was it? And the mic too that came out alright. Great up on the edge - love where that trig is. I bet that's been a right party before now. Few people there on your trigger happy moment. Well, good going - no food at the inn but a good one none the less. All the best. Mark

Hi Mark. Apologies for the slow reply. Lots of time taken up with other stuff at the moment!
It was a great little overnight trip👍
I've started using a DJI Osmo Action 4 since my Gopro 9 died. Very happy with it so far. The mic was just a cheap £11 lavalier mic made by AGPTek. Seems to work nicely for what I need.
Hope you're keeping well & catch you soon👍☺

@@DesGreene No worries des. Life takes over for sure - gotta be done. Good to hear of the Osmo - I'll check that mic out. Me? Getting on thanks. Have a good week ahead.

Morning Des, Hope you've recovered from your promotion party! 🔵⚪️ Great walk that with some epic views! I'm hoping to get to Hathersage in the next couple of weeks to do the Outside Hope Valley Round, rumour has it, there's a free slice of cake at the end... Hope you're doing well!

It was a bit of a celebration with the open top bus parade etc. Just about recovered now! 😁
That circuit sounds amazing. How many miles in total is it?
All the best to you, also👍

@DesGreene It's just under 20 miles but with the lighter mornings now it could make for a great day out 👍
