Hi, I would love to fly in the Caribbean. Currently 450tt. Was suppose to be multi rated this past Mon but plane was dwn. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
i watch the landing and takeoff on a live cam at this airport all the time, its really cool to see planes landing from the inside, different perspective view than the cam. nice landing.
I like that the plane's steering tiller is placed on where your car's turn signal stock should be. It's almost as if the pilot is using it to let the other planes know he's turning on that direction.
@ they weren’t for sure👍. These airplanes are amazing workhorses, built for the rugged Canadian north, but they seem to also enjoy the warm climate in the south 😎.
Dude, you had the best seat in the house. Perfect view out front, right gy the engines, awesome access to everything going on in the cockpit. Well filmed, no floor, good sequences. Thanks a lot, great video overall.
Did that trip at least four times back in the ‘90s. Back then it was St Barths commuter Britten-Norman Trislanders piston or a Winnair high wing twin. Either way, the landings were always interesting. Very good times

Terrific skill! Made it look so easy - but it’s quite a challenge, as is Saba.
@jeromes5141 cape air out of SJU have a permanent hiring sign for pilots.
damn, my dude shot that approach so perfectly I’m not even sure if he was awake 😂
The mix of old school controls and modern avionics 👍Love.

Winair has been there quite some time with smaller aircrafts, now they have acquired larger ones, keep up the good work Winair.
Exactly, with the ATR planes

I simply don't understand how seemingly herky jerky flight controls result in such a precise landing in tough conditions. Well done.
it's like balancing a ruler on ur finger in a windy day, ur hand needs to jerk depending on the movement of the ruler to keep it upright
Amazing job here

This is a Twin Otter, and there is nothing extreme about it, it's the way it operates!
Ok
some of the pilots are really good at short landings, always neat to see them take the turns off the strip right after slowing down.
Very nice flying my friend 😉👍🏽✈
Thanks 🙏

Horrible to see how that island is completely crammed! And that captain is not really a fun guy either, gosh:-)
The captain is a great guy, I discussed with both of them later after the flight. That kind of flight needs focus and concentration !
