Hello. Thank you for the great video. Everything was pretty straight forward and worked right up to the point of installing the apk. Unfortunately, the latest Google Messages apk requires SDK 25, and my Kyocera Dura XV only has SDK 24. To get around this I found a legacy version of the APK on the web, and was able to install it successfully on my flip phone. So far, so good, but this is where it falls apart. @ 1:28 you point to a "custom" menu that my flip phone simply doesn't have. Ergo, I'm not able to "add" the app or an icon. Ergo, I can't open the Google Messages app to configure it. Is there something I'm doing wrong that I don't see the "Custom" option at the bottom of my screen? Thanx for any help you can give. Subscribed and thumbed up....
There might be a "tools" menu or similar where all other applications show up (eg. Kyocera DuraXV Extreme does this), did you try looking around? You may also be able to add a shortcut on the home screen. What phone is it?
@@mobilephonesandtech thank you! i tried and worked well. however i'm trying to uninstall and did what you told. but can't for some reason? any reccomendations?
This is extremely helpful! However I'm having issues with uninstalling. Is it not the install command just a different word? "abd uninstall youtube.apk" does not work :
Thank you! This helped me out, and something to note- if your APK is listed as invalid, try to rename and get rid of any spaces.
thanks for the tutorial!!! worked well with kyocera kyf31 :D
easy & straight forward. Thank you!
You're a God send. My phone will arrive next week so I'm excited to test this out

Thanks so much for this. I'll try this out on my Kyo Cadence when I have the time,
what can i do if it is only charging and i don't know how to fix it?
Find a cable with data transfer.
Omg 😢 i need more help so im trying to run minimal adb for my aquos 601sh and its not registering my phone any tips ?😊
Have you tried WebADB? That works for me.
also how do i keep them all in the same director 😅 im a lityle clueless to this
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
Thank you so so much 🙏
Hello. I tried this and it keep saying error. File not found when I tried cmd
Takes time for the program to refresh the directory, give it a bit of time and try again
My kyocera 701kc is not connecting to my pc, any help? T_T
Try another cable, some are charge only.
@mobilephonesandtech solved, thank you!
Hey, do you know if there's a way to do this with bluetooth ? If not i'll need to buy a new charger :/
Unfortunately not, you need a physical data cable for this operation (too old for wireless ADB over WiFi).
@@mobilephonesandtech Oh ok thank you
@@mobilephonesandtech Do you know what i should do if the program say failed to extract ?
@@clo9238 Not sure, maybe try a different machine or webadb (no install needed).
@@mobilephonesandtech I finally got it lol thank you
i cant access the apk pure website that you linked
Hi, it may be geoblocked. Try an alternative, www.apkmirror.com/, but this site is less reputable in my own opinion.

@@onezero_5 You might have to do some digging for the internal package name, should start with com.
@@onezero_5 I tried UAD to acquire packages but couldn't find my sideloaded apps. Might have to reset as a last resort
ty so much (❤´艸`❤)

Hi, see the description. You have to find the internal application name (process name). Eg. adb uninstall com.publisher.packagename
I’ve been trying to install the APK pure app but it keeps saying that the file doesn’t exist or no directory
1:13 same folder as Minimal ADB and Fastboot, and the filename depends on whatever you have.
