Lets do the job properly and give us: Your Ground Rent monthly, Rates monthly, Monthly Internet office costs etc, Electric ,water costs, etc, Insurance monthly as Trader, and what the break even will be and as such how many cars need selling a month etc.. so as others understand its not all just advent calenders and a laugh with unlimited funds available. Obviously we know you have plenty of money from Landscape supplies etc built up. BUT be honest there must come a time when the cars MUST stand on its own and not just a youtube earning thing.. Ps; The car at 24th i reckon is the Audi on picture.. Pps: I still never win nothing so know i will not win again, no worries lol

Greg, you have got to get away from potential pitch ready motors from the block, you need to be looking at the spares repairs as well, a bit of paint correction, pads n discs the relatively smaller jobs, it will give you a bit of stock and you can get them 100% when you have a punter interested and a deposit.

I'd get set up for painting bud, if you've any experience of it (?) it's the only way to really get anything with profit in it, 90%of mine need paint, for example I bought a 14 plate 208 at auction last week, bash in the rear wing, not a write off, mirror smashed off, did 800 quid, plus fees, paint and filler is cheap enough, mirror 20 quid, if that had been totally St, ready to go, it'd be 3k,if your just wanting to do it like back in the day, tidy car and pitch it your going to be disappointed, too many traders these days chasing clean stock, you'll always get outbid, as your finding, your left with nothing in it.
@@ValleyAutosMidlands OK bud, another tip is deffo don't bid online and trust the check list, even if the engine is say knocking they'll still put it green, if you go in person you'll probably seen something that you'd not considered, usually the ones you've chosen you don't get, i know it's an effort to go, but it's a bigger effort if you get something that's goosed, don't expect any comeback on the assured scheme, it's an insurance backed thing and they'll wriggle out of it, I bought a 12 plate corsa, fully assured, you pay 50 quid for that, gearbox was noisy, St from walking pace, warranty said things were only checked at standstill, re con box and clutch 600,i made 620 gross so that's 20 quid profit mate, tough game.
I always think December is a good time to buy from dealers. Hopefully you get stock moving out of the yard soon. I'm going to look at a Cayman on Sunday, hoping the dealer is feeling festive 😂🎄
You need to check live data on your scanner for LR, if it's supported, you need 15000 kpa before it will start, do a leak off test on the injectors to see if one is bad, could be main diesel pump on the engine, high pressure one.
@@ValleyAutosMidlands you want to disconnect the fuel line from that pump, flick the ignition on, if it pumps its OK, that pump is only to get the fuel to the engine, say at start up, your scanner is the first thing to do, can even be over or under turbo boost making it go into limp mode, you can't play parts darts on diesels mate.
That's u tube for you I'm glad I just watch my favourite channels thing is being chirstmas a few weeks away so people are being careful with money bet you will find cheaper cars in the new year as people would of spent to much money keep trying things will get better you need to sell that land rover money pit I think the newer they got wat a mess that back floor is In the back needs cleaning up and painting cant you put a inline pump instead of the normal one?? Don't know much with diesels mate
@@ValleyAutosMidlands just a idea as you can get electric inline pumps only diesel engine I did it to was a mini digger as the pump on the engine pack up was easy to fit and wire up but don't no about a land rover defender as it's hard to get the pump buy the sounds of it
Great video, any little auto is so sought after, tbh you've got little chance of getting one, problem is if you overpay and box is bad you've got expensive scrap, don't buy any ford power shift auto, if it's at auction it's bound to be hookey, tbh looking for like a grand to 1500 margin on cheaper cars isn't viable, yes you can sometimes have it away but most of mine are 300 to 600 net, sorry but that's how it is, 4 a week tho is say 1500 quid and that's not bad, not great tho when someone comes back, as you say that 7k fiesta will stick where say a 09 at 2 and a half would go day one, whatever you do it's not an easy job.

Maybe put p ex welcome in the fiesta advert, 7k plus is a bit out of affordability for little car buyers, it's always the same with dearer cars, people want em, nice specs, cheap tax, reliable, they tick every box, then they can't afford them, so they want your cheapie 07 plate to be as good (!)
