    This is a nice axe from leaf spring. It is different style from the other in the previous videos. I made its blade long and round head. The handle is from nice wooden but in the straight style. It is powerful to cut wood. Hope you like this video everyone.

    Start with a piece of vehicle spring...very difficult to go wrong,makes excellent edged tackle.Quite simple to temper.
    The fact,of course, that the blacksmith is good makes a big difference.
    Love watching these guys work with real basics...good results...proper craftsmen.

      There arent many fields where you can see the skills which have been maintained like this Craftsman. I add magician alchemist and master, food for schools and workshops.

    Don't underestimate any blacksmiths whatever he owns knowledge just applaud and don't any wrong thing about whatever makes. He has limited tools. So be pratical.

    You are not quenching well that iron it needs to be red hot 🔥 almost 800C° and cooled in seconds ... Anyway beautiful axe

    This is verywrong if u make axe there should be a thicker point above the sharp point to make counter ballancing of the axe.

    Amazing how little they value their lives!
    Look where they are working. Look at the conditions.
    No one wears safety shoes, boots or nothing.
    Almosr bear feet and sandals.
    What would happen if a slice of red hot metal or a sliver of metal was to fall on a bear foot?

      @@andy6043 Oh, for sure. I've seen tons of video from Middle Eastern metal workers and blacksmiths. They actually fix and fabricate nearly everything it seems. Here in the U.S., creme puffs galore just throw away and buy new. Middle Easterners are far more skilled and resourceful.

      Otherwise, these guys are quite aware of time against availability of tools / means to obtain top of the line tools in Western world.

    Ok... What? Why dont you harden the ax head? Why dont you put a wedge in the wood to secure the head? Why not taper the handle? This is bare bones, no art here. People give you guys credit cus they expect nothing outta you. It's like oh wow look at the monkey, hes so smart. Your products are scary unsafe, unfinished.. Unacceptable
