Thanks for yhe video. Carpenters at the shipyard used this adzes to compare the wood against this shiphul. In the Netherlands they wore clogs with a thick sole to prevent cutting in their feet. When you sawe someone walk with a limp he did it wrong.

The welds will always be the fault point ,my friend you have the skills to forge the eye instead of welding it
Always a pleasure watching you do whatever you do

I have seen this 3 times and it didn't hit me that you are right. A little longer piece of metal and he is than capable of making this tool from all one part.🤔

In Türkiye, these tools are called “Keser”. However, on the side near the shaft, they have thicker metal, used to hammer with.
    As usual, beautiful work māshāAllāh!

In my area such a tool for woodworking is called TESLA, thanks for the instructive video and water hardening, it requires good knowledge of materials and experience, it can not be bought, so most blacksmiths do hardening in oil.

not many carpenters use this tool and it is difficult to find it available on the markets. If people really need this tool they have to come to the blacksmiths.

I've seen a lot of cambodian blacksmiths on youtube just like Roseth here. I think most of them use a really big piece of heavy military vehicle axle.

Better sharpen it up, that blade is dull. Try using a stone instead of a grinding wheel.
