- First time taking this 2016 Jaguar F-Type to the track. Had an absolute blast, as I learn the basics of tracking this car. So much more to learn and better times to achieve in the future. Best run was an 11.42 @ 124.67. Currently running Stage 2 Velocity AP Tune with 200 Cel Cats/Downpipes. Will be sending log files off for further adjustments. Looking forward to future runs. That’s thing about these cars,there very drivable always, I’m glad I got one. My Aston Martin was finnacky but the Jag is sturdy, and I haven’t had an issue on my 2019. Nice runs 125 is a great result
Do you think a warrenty is necessary? I'm looking at a 2016 model
It’s likely not worth the cost after 2018, if you have a good mechanic you trust you should be good, I haven’t found any blog from f-type owners talking about a lot of serious issues, I’ve had zero, just oil changes and a squeaky brake when it gets hot out. (+30Celcius)
Can you still recommend this car? My last two project cards 1990 300zx twinturbo and 200+ CLS55 twin turbo conversion burned in a California wildfire. Looking at F-type SVR, Mercedes CLS/GT63S. I don't think the Rapide S is worth it still even used although it's also beautiful. Only driving a big Ram 2500 diesel right now.

Great run .. what was the DA
It was around 700ft, if I recall from that night. The next time I ran the following month I ran a 11.26 and DA was estimated around -60ft.
