Great job,
I’m 74 and near the end of my journey. Been wrenching for over 60 years. Sooo glad to see youngsters take up the challenge. In this age of planed obsolescence, just throw it away and buy a new one, it is such a joy to see you “make it work”. With every generation fewer and fewer are getting involved, keep it up, I’ll be watching every video.
Legend !
Sounds pretty mean when you give it to her.
You're doing great. I'm hoping you continue to fix it up. Thanks for taking us along.
Man, those old Chevrolets just want to live.👍👍
First comment was a few minutes in, this is after watching whole vid. WOW, fix the brakes, exhaust leak, get seats and windows, gas tank, and you got yourself a daily driver. You guys remind me of me and my bestie, lost him a year and a half ago. Stick together and make more vids. Thanks to both of you and your third musketeer the vid guy, and to all your buds.
I think you lads are just awesome great job boys never had and doubt you guys would succeed nothing like backyard mechanics respect
Definitely been waiting for this one. That is a really sweet old girl we definitely need to see more of it.
Love to see the 38 Master Deluxe running again in so many decades. My family had once 38 or 39 Master Deluxe so it was kind a blast from the past.
Yeah Brothers, You ARE the 'can do' men. So cool you can help each other with the know how and expertise! You know we cannot wait 'til the next one!!
Excellent work guys Definitely KOOL
honestly - it's a dream car. sounds and looks perfect ! ⚡🤘
Cool car! You two make a good team!
this was a lot of fun to watch guys! I've been working on a'37 Studebaker President for 11 years and i'm finally ready to assemble the engine after i have the new bearing shells line bored. this made me want it even more, especially since it looks really similar to my car
Great job!! You both make a great team! Y’all should do more vids together!! 😊😊
That’s a cool looking car , I would try and get it fixed up ..
The fact that the engine and transmission still work is a testament to simplicity and using metal where we now use plastics and synthetics. My company car (2023 Durango) had to go back to the dealer for a coolant leak at 560 miles. Yet this still drives after 80+ years. In my world, the quality in this car far surpasses even the new stuff, in many areas. Also, it brings a tear to my eye when I see you young guys still wrenching on old junk. And youre actually using box wrenches in place of battery impact guns. Merry Christmas
Nice to see you young guys enjoying cars like I used to do Keep the spirit alive Fix and drive on to the next generation
I can see it now...Alaska 's first Nascar entry, car #38, really takes those left hand turns with grace, just gotta work on your pit stop times...😂
That’s just victory steam from under the hood ‘ bald eagle screeches off in the distance’ . Awesome vid as always!!!!!
Anytime I see a old car or truck fire up like this it is a good day.
* Great Vid Austin ! Caught Brian's early yesterday . Yours is a good backup. Your's had more rally footage. It was fun to watch and the old gal seemed to like showing off ! Get some plexiglass at the hardware to make a quick windshield . Turned you guys onto a few friends they loved watching your stuff too ! Rock On ! 👊😎👍
Success is better when shared with friends. Nice work.
My grandfather had one of those and it ran beautifully.
Man, I like it as is, I hope you keep it original, now you just need to run some Moonshine !
What a Great accomplishment!!
A sensitive period restoration - wowza!
Upstate NY saying hello and love the videos
It's amazing how when you really give it the beans, it actually sounds like a 5.9 cummins. Pretty awesome.
The most impressive thing about this is that are bringing back what was from what is stock instead of the usual "custom" cookie cutter drop a LS into it. 51 here, but there is something better about getting the best out of the car or truck from where it was originally built as.
That was a great ! Do it again ! And thanks for sharing 👍
Love your show keep it up you are awesome 👍
You Two Dudes ROCK!!! This has instantly become my favorite ride. It was just BEGGING to see road action - and it was straight up to the task. Awesome revival, cool skills, snappy dialogue. Hey, have you guys thought about making a collab video??? 😏
Great job on that old baby! A guy I know, down here in Tampa, Fla. Just bought a canadian model and is working on it, but it runs fine and is all original .
Nice work. Thanks for the cool video 🍺
Nice gangster ride
Damn I've got some catching up to do on vids. Love it brother, hope to see more of this ol gal on the channel. You and your buddy did a great job bringing her back around 👌🇺🇸👍🤘🔥🔥🔥
Pretty frickin amazing you not just got to run but bomb around at fairly high speeds. Great job
Great video Austin. You sure have a good time!
Well done lads.
Enjoyed it fellers. Preciate fact, no foul Lang. Loved your humour. My new heroes. I'm a Missionary in the Philippines. Keep up the good work and fun.
G'day, boys, well done with the ol girl, she's a beauty. Hooroo se ya later 👍
Very cool Austin! You even have your own version of the movie “Red Dirt Rising”!
The car is very cool. Love the old American cars with split windshield. She needs to be fixed. Not as a 20 000 dollars car, but as a normal everyday car.
Had a 1937 Master Deluxe in high school. Sleek black beauty, interior without a rip or tear.42K miles. The painted brown dash had dozens of coats of wax. Mine ran like a sewing machine. This brings back a lot of memories. THANKS! Ken in Tallahassee
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching
Awesome
shes absolutely mint, sounds beastly, great work guys
Nice styling. Narrow grill, headlights . Needs new steps and new windows.
Twisting wrenches. Having fun with friends. Turning the clock back on old iron. And Burgers at the end :D Sounds like my kind of time. Just finished...Well we all know nothing is ever totally finished....Just completed the major work on one of my long time projects. 1978 honda cb400t motorcycle that i restored once. Sold to someone who trashed it. Bought it back and have restored it the second time. (running restore it wears it's battle scars proudly) Next person who owns it will buy it from my estate lol. Been watching your Videos for quite a while. Always a good day when a new one pops up. Rusty wrench salute from northwestern PA.
young guns. keep it up mates
It's a little rough 😮😮😮 but it's a runner 🏃♂️ 😉 👍
Awesome!!! Great work lads!
Just got here 😄👍
It was really nice to see that old car going a little bit sideways
That’s awesome! Great job guys 👏👏👏🇺🇸

This is an amazing old car. Great job!
That was a lot of fun to watch! Well done!
You guys are having way to much funnnnnn!
Super cool car!!
Like I told y'all...first 5 miles, and your already ahead of Richard Petty!
❤😂😂
Entertaining 😎👍🍺
Now i wanna do one
Very cool!!!!!!!
Love it. My favorite part was you guys dirt track racing. Fantastic. I had a few goood laughs along the way.! Love the paint color and patina!
I had 1938 Chev ute (Aussie). Body wise it wasn't too bad but mechanicals were another matter, lol.
awesome!! hard work paid off
Cool old car hope you do something with it😊
Excellent! A real result and that road trip is looking like it really will happen! Well done!
Greetings from the UK!
Nice work fellas!
Almost ready for a Roadtrip
It’s kinda funny watching people getting a kick out of your Dream car 😂
So good boys
Hi from Siberian!
What do I think??
I think this is bada$$!! What a treat!! And a privilege! Great video guys.
While not quite a trailer queen yet I would definitely use it as a daily.I love the overall condition and look of it especially the rear roof.Make it work and leave it alone.
You’ll get the master apart. Take it out, remove as much parts as possible. put it in a metal pan with parts cleaner and let it soak for a few days. Then put it on a heat pad or over the fire and get it to a boil. Remove it and then clean it and it should come apart even if you gotta take a wooden rod to the inside to get the parts out. Give it a sandblasting and hone, fresh rubber bits. good as new
As far as the hoses you might be able to get them at Napa or online. Or even have them made at a hydraulic shop if you have one near you. Do all three and do all the brake lines and wheel cylinders as well!
Nice job gentlemen.
Nice old Chevy BUT not as nice as Scotts old Chevy from Coldwar Motors, but it will soon be there if you keep working on it.
Drive it like you stole it and its more fun than a restored car, beat on it enjoy it if it breaks fix it
Love it
That is a cool car!
You don't gotta worry about it getting a little hot you're just getting the head gasket to reseal itself.... just goes to show if there ain't a rod hanging out the block you can't kill these old rigs
Awesome awesome awesome. Reminds me of high school days. Just bringing the dead back and run em.
Cool!!! 👍
Paint it olive drab with a star on the door , Great job
Wonder how many cars today will start in 50 years😇 .thats the kind of roads the old girl was built to run on. No interstates back then
Pretty cool!! I hope you keep fixing it up some more. Dont run it too hard. That old babbit pounder wont take it very long!! Nice job overall!
Hi, are you going to restorer her? She sounds good for her age.
She's a runner,,cool 👍 👍 👍 👍
Add some chrome moon caps to give her some shiny.
I bet someone is looking for this car to do a full restore on it. Counts Kustom's or maybe FOOSE??
Just be careful about the abbot rods as they deliver oil to the top of the engine. Don’t reve it up too much or you’ll blow a rod.
Just push the roof back up with a custom made piece of wood that matches the curve in the roof on the passenger side and a bottle jack or porta power. You can just change the shape of the wood as you go along with the push. I didn't know a 38 had an overhead valve engine.
😅Very cool guys! 💯💯👍🏻
thas wut I'm talkin' bout!!
Greetings from Maine Gangsta !
So cool bro, if you haven't had a look, check out cold war motors! My thing is old diesel trucks and Willys jeeps, I try to drive my cj3b every day! Cheers bud!
Such a shame about the roof. Could still be salvageable i think.
do you use a 12v coil when doing that? Nice to see it light up. Really enjoyed seeing the Chevy slide in the corners. Outstanding Emilia Island level body work, and tuning worthy of Le mans. You get better and better power sliding. Outstanding seats. I was hoping you had the brakes together. You might consider road tripping to Cold War Motors, because you are the next generation. You did really well with this video.
Nice 😅
I have a 34 Chevy Master coupe keep it original
