Now THAT is a car show. Ill take those used and daily driven vehicles over a bunch of shiny Ferrari anyway 😊😊😊😊
All those vehicles were brought from the lower 48 for one reason or another. And the stories are likely as interesting as the vehicles. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, for such a small car show it had some great stuff! I was drooling over every one of those 4x4s, especially the Wagoneer.

If you stare at the passenger side door for more than a minute, you are looking at one of the best patina designs/logos I have ever seen. THAT is my kind of car & truck show - REAL people with their REAL rides, all kinds of good-lookin' stuff, not gussied-up or fawned-over rides. Most of those rides have either been in the family for a long time, or got sold once the previous owner could not enjoy it as much as the new owner will. Many got fixed up and made road-worthy just to enjoy and take to this kind of show so car/truck guys and gals can talk car/truck stuff to fellow buffs. Gorgeous day out! Thanks for the ride-along! Cheers!!!

Had I known of such events back in the nineties, and even in and around till twenty ten, I had some impressive J30's a bull nose that had only four thousand actual miles, ran so good that it made you wonder, a 460 engine with five speed, two wheel drive that had been in storage since new. It was stored in a climatized building an the plastic still on the seats. I lost my home due to a accident that left me crippled so it was sold, some was stolen, and sadly some went to scrap. I had a factory square body, a 84 that was a one ton four wheel drive built to handle a 450 holmes wrecker body, it also was very low miles from montana, zero rust, but someone modified the engine to be a 383 cu. so it kinda was a hot rod acting and harder to drive. Every bell and whistle was checked so air, electric everything possible right down to delay wipers, a tac dash, the four hundred turbo automatic, and set up with a doubler for extra gearing including air lockers on front and rear. I drove the wheels off of it but never abused it. My grandson took it home but it was in one of those dang forest fires and so was lost. My luck ran bad to worst case.... I could of given them away and at least seen some kind of pleasure knowing they went to good homes.. I owned a small mechanics shop and people who needed work were happy to just trade or give away rigs so acquired so dang many that my little acre and a third was covered in great rigs. A grandmother who could not drive had a 91 toyota celica that had a hundred miles on it and gave it to me for her granddaughter car to have a clutch put in her mustang. Believe me I earned that one as the mustang had been rode hard, real hard and then put to bed wet. The celica was a five speed GT model and was just plain pretty for being a foreign car. Oh I bought quite a few in the beginning as I love old rigs myself...... curious as to do you get outsiders that want to buy your rigs?

Great video Austin. Really look forward to watching them. The summer down here in Sr. Pete has been too hot for the car shows.

A summer trip for you to video. Fly commercial to McGrath, then on to Flat via one of the bush outfits. Seven mile hike from Flat to Iditarod. Take mosquito nets and gloves with tape. Overnight it in the AC building, again having a good net on your tent. Tape long sleeve shirt to gloves and pant cuffs to boots to keep mosquitoes out. Water will have to be boiled because of beaver. Made this trip 3 times in 1999. Good trip to take a friend as there are plenty of bears.

Net video. Why didn't you take the 38? Oh yeah you're mainly a truck guy.
Do you think any of the vehicles at the show were retired oilfield/mining vehicles?
I'm thinking the 'stang had to be oilfield.
